About us

Orr Radiator has been servicing the greater Kansas City area for over 70 years and under the present management since 1974 with Jim Magerl. Jim has owned the business since February 2007 when Ken Lash retired. We operate a repair facility as well as being a wholesaler of radiators, condensers, fuel tanks and cooling fan assemblies. We also specialize in repairing all types of radiators ( ex. Motorcycle, agricultural, generators, caterpillar, automotive, and semi) and repair and lining of gas tanks ( ex. Motorcycle, automotive, agricultural, RV, any tank can be lined with the exception of a diesel fuel tank) We work with four major manufactures that only produce premium products so your purchase will meet or exceed O.E. standards. If you are part of the Midwest Parts Group you will receive your order the next business day. If you are a regular out of the area customer we will ship your purchase Fedex/UPS. For local customers you purchase will be delivered by an Orr Radiator driver. We look forward to being of any service to you and feel free to contact us with any questions you may have

Replaced a radiator with a crack in the top.  Phone response was quick, and they provided an accurate estimate over the phone.  I was able to bring in the car the next morning, and it was fixed by the afternoon.  The cost was about $150 less than the car dealer.  We were very happy with the service.

On a car of this age, sometimes parts are not available or are of questionable quality, so repair was my first choice. I removed the radiator and delivered it to them for repair and clean out. They had it ready on 3 days and repainted it, too. I'm quite satisfied with their work and would use them again.

I called and made an appointment and had the truck towed down there. It was only there a few days, and they had it running, but it still wasn't right. It wouldn't hold a charge of freon. We took it back again and they found that a fitting had cracked and the air was getting around that fitting.

THEY'RE VERY CLEAR IN EXPLAINING AN ITEM ON A CAR. THEY'LL SHOW YOU IN A SHOP MANUAL THE TIME IT WILL TAKE TO REPLACE AN ITEM, BASED ON THE MAKE AND MODEL. THEY ARE VERY UP FRONT AND HONEST AS WELL. THEY HAVE A CONVENIENT, CENTRAL LOCATION.
