I highly recommend this clinic. We switched to DCVC from another clinic in town during an emergent situation. Our terrier was given pills from another vet clinic that put him in respiratory failure. I contacted DCVC at closing time and Dr. May, along with the staff, graciously awaited my arrival. They took excellent care of our dog, and were available all night via phone to answer any questions. I immediately transferred all of our pets to this clinic. The staff is professional, friendly, and knowledgable. As a person involved in rescue, I am well aware of how expensive a vet visit can be. This clinic charges very fair prices, especially for the level of customer service provided. We have several and quot;special needsand quot; animals, and this clinic always provides the best care possible. I have called them in the middle of the night, and have always received professional, courteous treatment from the vet on call. While Dr. May has provided most of the treatment, we have had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Chad Kerr, Dr. Brock Kerr, and Dr. Lindsey. I feel very comfortable with all four vets as well as every member of the staff. I cannot express with words how happy we have been with Dodge City Veterinary Clinic. For those of us that love our pets as family, this is the place to have your animals treated.

They're very friendly, good with animals - very caring!

We've taken our dog to DC Vet since the day we got her at 9 weeks old (she's 1 1/2 yrs now). They've done all her shots and check-ups, and performed her spay surgery. She had a bout of Panosteitis (come to find out is common in large dogs that grow quickly in the first year) and they were able to diagnose it right away, and to tell us what to do immediately to remedy the situation before it grew into an actual problem. We've been very pleased with their service.

They have a 24-hr call service, so the one occasion (on a weekend, the office was closed) she got into some potentially dangerous people-food, I was able to speak with a vet on the phone within a short amount of time to discuss what to do. Turned out to be not such a big deal (thank God!) but if it was an emergency, someone would have met us at the Vet Clinic to take care of her.

They deal with large and small animals.
