Original roof was cedar shake on pine strips, no actual plywood roof.  So when the roof was removed, dirt and trash fell into part of open attic and part (finished) on top of ceiling tiles where some black dust seeped through.  Nobody had forewarned us, but really, there was no way to avoid it.  When we told him, he came back and did a fair job of cleaning it up.  Other than that, no problems at all.  He was very knowledgeable about the products he sold.  I forget the brand of leaf guard, but when he offered it we researched it and it seemed to be the very best (he said it's the one he used on his home).  After two years, gutters all run fine, no problems whatsoever.
He suggested, rather than plywood sheathing, some plastic foil-lined stuff which would reflect heat and drop temperature up to fifteen degrees in the summer (he said).  We paid a couple hundred dollars extra for that.  Our attic is still hot, no miracle occurred, but I work up there almost every day, and before the new roof it was way too hot on a summer day, so it's a big improvement.
He is also a contractor and perfectly capable of doing big or small jobs unrelated to roof, although that's his specialty.  We asked him for an estimate to re-roof a playhouse in the yard.  It was over two thousand bucks so we didn't do it.  A year later we got an estimate for $1300, but the guy kept finding more rotten wood and it ended up being $2100, so the In2Gutrs estimate was reasonable.
They got the whole thing done in one day, and the roofing crew was very friendly and accommodating.
Probably never need a new roof in my life, but if I do, this is the first guy I'd call.

BUYERS BEWARECompany came out and measured roof for needed materials, gave a quote on the job and a time frame to completion.Salesman ( owner ) quoted 17.25 squares at a given price which was the best quote by 3 companies.  When crew was 3/4 of the way completed with the job of replacing Felt paper and shingles, same person called and said more squares were needed to finish the job at hundreds of dollar more.  I was told a "crew member" always tells him to order more than is needed to finish the job so additional price would not be "that much". It was hundreds more.  In my opinion, this company bids jobs low at a lesser amount of squares needed to land the job then informs the home owner that more product is needed because he "miss measured "which puts his total price much higher.  His " miss measuring" was off by 3 plus squares.  I don't know what a square of roofing is but missing it by that much from a man that says " there are  3 generations of roofers in this company" is a large mistake, or again in my opinion, his way to up the total price. This bidding process will cost home owners much more that the quote.  His contract never says " roof" or "entire job" or "entire roof",  just the "squares" needed at a given price.  And so he has an open to make that call informing one that more product is required to finish the roof. I was afraid if I said no, or wait a minute, the roof would be left half done. The crew did an excellent job on the roof.

It went horrible.  I specified early on that I only had one day off and they showed up around noon that day for an hour, but said they would be back on the next day but did not show up.  Did not show up until Monday when I was not home.  On that day, the owner demanded the check for the project.  The quality of the work was mediocre at best.

Very good job overall. Was good to find someone who could do all three types of work. Excellent quality of work, and didn't try to take shortcuts (re-using siding in poor condition, etc) that he might have tried if he wanted to "low-ball" the bid. Only odd point was that his roofing crew is pretty autonomous, and Thurlow doesn't supervise from on site. As a result, he may not know exactly when they'll show up or how far along they are on the project, and there were a couple very minor points that required adjustment (improved caulking of some chimney flashing). But the bottom line was that they did an excellent job and I would hire In2Gutters again without question for any or all of the project.

It went quite well, except that the materials were delivered a day early. Our car was in the driveway, so they left the whole package on skids in the street. No problem; next day we moved the car and they got to work; the guy with the lift just had to make a second trip. Crew of about 7 or 8 guys showed up, very polite. They started about 8 and when I got home at 6 they were finished with the roof. It looks great, no problems. A few days later he came back and did the gutters. He checked with me many times to get exact details on where I wanted things. The installation of the gutters, covers and drain pipes is all very nicely done. Right about now the leaf guards are starting to get their test. By now the old gutters would be full of leaves.

It went very well. I sent Mr. Prescott the owner an email authorizing the work while I was away on business and he installed the gutter covers. I returned home to find them installed. I left a check at the house for him to pickup the next day.

Work started a day late due to a mixup with the delivery of shingles. But the work on the roof went smoothly the next day. Mr Prescott monitored the progress and called me with updates. I had to travel for my job so I gave Mr. Prescott a key to the house. He continued the inside work related to the skylights while I was away. He called to update me from time to time. The work looks very good.

They returned our call the same day and scheduled a convenient weekend time a few days later to give us a quote. The owners came to give the quote and were friendly and professional and arrived promptly. We looked into gutter cleaning versus replacement with the Leaf-Proof gutter system. They were very knowledgeable, pointing out problems with the design (placement) of our existing gutters & downspouts, including places without gutters that should have had some to better protect the home. They gave us quotes on several options. After we chose the replacement option, we called them back to schedule the job. Again they returned our call the same day. They were able to get us in within about a week and finished after 2 days of work. They hauled off the old gutters. They checked back with us later to be sure we were satisfied. It was a very pleasant, no-hassle experience!
