NANA'S Heartfelt Arrangements

After hearing that the flowers weren't delivered to work as of 4:30 on Valentines Day (and ruining the suprise), I called Nana's and they claimed the order wasn't processed.  The owner said he would "make it right' and then delivered roses at 6:30pm to my house, looking thrown together and w/out the card I ordered with it...not to mention it wasn't really a surprise anymore and they weren't delivered to work.  The owner also said he would also call me the following day, but never did.  I had to call them and asked for compensation, but he claimed he was "unable to give refunds on online orders" (which seems ridiculous) and only would give me a $25 credit towards my next order.    I don't recommend Nana's and won't order from them again.

As you can imagine, Valentines Day did not turn out so well. The whole idea of ordering roses to be delivered to the work place is so they can be enjoyed and show off to the hundreds of other women that work there. This order was called in on the local phone number over 1 week previous to the requested delivery date. If I had not finally asked asked her if she recieved some flowers at work I would never have known they were not delivered and still charged. Delivering a dozen roses the day after Valentines day doesn't cut it but I do understand that @*%^ happens and there really isn't anything they can do to correct the mistake.

I placed the order on a Friday morning for a Saturday event. Nana's is under new ownership so I thought I would give them a try. I told the girl I wanted a casual long low arrangement for an hors' doervres table. No roses - no pastels. I picked the arrangement up Saturday at noon and there are 4 yellow roses, yellow carnations, and pinks and yellow/pink tiny lily things. Two of the roses was starting to brown around the edges before I got it home. Little yellow/pink lilies were drooping and sagging (looked frozen) and never came out of it. It looked so cheap. I was very disappointed so I went to our local grocery and purchased something much more fuller and colorful for my table and less expensive. It will be a while before I order anything from them again.

I hired Nana's Village House for my wedding flowers because of their convenience to my home and I had found a good review on Angie's List. I met with Linda and, unlike most brides, didn't have a specific plan in mind. She was very knowledgeable and helped think if seasonal flowers that arranged well together. I would return to them every time. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and Linda even helped me with color schemes and ideas appropriate for the season. My bouquet was everything I wanted it to be and more. They do an excellent job, are punctual, communicate well, have very appropriate and fair pricing and are talented beyond belief. Wonderful Job!!!

We were very pleased with them. They worked with us and our budget. Their original estimate was too high and they worked with us to get that down. We worked with Caily. We loved the flowers! They were able to come up with an arrangement of flowers they don't use often, but they looked great. She was more than willing to work with us and was always available to do so. She made great suggestions and gave alternatives when they would be out of our price range. She brought the flowers to the wedding the day of. She even offered for us to come look at them the night before. The cost was just what she said it would be. Overall we were really pleased with the service we received from them.

The staff at Nana's did a wonderful job with our flowers. They met with me twice to go over all of the details and made sure they knew exactly what I wanted. They were much more reasonable than other florists I interviewed, and gave lots of personal service. They really seemed to enjoy preparing the flowers, and knew me by name every time I went into the shop. They spent a great deal of time at the church making sure everything was perfect before setting up at the reception. They also worked with me to create floral centerpieces for the reception that wouldn't break the bank. They didn't just want my money. But wanted me to be happy with them as well. Being a small local business, they gave great service!

GOT A FLORAL ARRANGEMENT AS A GIFT AND A WEEK LATER IT IS STILL NOT WILTING.
