ANITA'S ALTERATIONS PLUS

I had a jacket that needed a new zipper.  She did the new zipper and it works fine.  She was on time and I was very happy with the work she did.

It was horrible. The hems are not straight at all. They are sewn twice in some places where she missed the hem. There are a few places where the lining is longer than the overlay. The dress she took in, she did by taking out the zipper. took it in too much the dress is far too tight and we are afraid the zipper is going to bust when she wears it. Left off the eye hook, put it on the last minute. sewed the zipper back down by using a third grade whip stich in grey thread and the color of the dress is teal. So disappointing. She is not a professional seamstress at all. She doesn't steam the dresses when she is done they are a wrinkled mess. Her response is I do the best I can with the equipment I have. Deplorable. No one should use her unless they need a button sewn on and then you better bring your own thread.

My sister recommended her to me. I had a side train and it was a really difficult thing to do. She had it for a while but made it look perfect. She did a really good job. It was Anita itself whom I had interactions with and her step daughter. They are very friendly and very honest.
