+ -1 moreTERRY, THE OWNER, IS A VERY NICE PERSON, IS EASY TO LIKE AND HIS WORK IS VERY GOOD, WHEN HE GETS AROUND TO FINISHING SOMETHING. HIS RATE PER HOUR IS FINE IF HE IS WORKING ON A SMALL JOB, ONE THAT CAN BE FINISHED IN A DAY OR TWO. IF IT IS A LARGE JOB LIKE OURS (REMODELING WHOLE HOUSE) IT IS HIGH. HE IS VERY SLOW AT WHAT HE DOES. WE TOLD HIM, BEFORE HE STARTED, THAT WE DID NOT WANT THIS JOB TO DRAG OUT AND THAT IS JUST WHAT IT DID. WE TALKED TO HIM ABOUT IT AND HE SAID THAT HE CAN ONLY WORK AT ONE SPEED. THE WEEK THAT WE LET HIM GO, HE WORKED HARDER AND FINISHED MORE THAN THE PREVIOUS SEVEN WEEKS. HE ALSO FIRED HIS HELP A MONTH INTO OUR JOB AND FINDING NEW HELP JUST DIDN'T SEEM IMPORTANT TO HIM. ALSO, THE FIRST TWO WEEKS THAT HE WAS HERE HE WAS CLEAN ABOUT HIS WORK THEN HE STOPPED CLEANING UP. HE DESTROYED OUR HARDWOOD FLOORS. WE CONTACTED HIM VIA E-MAIL AND HE NEVER RESPONDED. BEFORE HE STARTED, HE TOLD US THAT HE WOULD BE HERE M-F 8:30 A.M. SOME DAYS HE WORKED 1 HR., SOME 10.
Description of Work: WORLD CLASS CONSTRUCTION WAS HIRED TO REMODEL OUR ENTIRE HOME INSIDE AND OUT. WE HAVE A TWO STORY HOME AND WERE STARTING W/THE TWO BATHS ON THE SECOND FLOOR ON MARCH 21, 2005 AND NEVER FINISHED. TERRY WAS ALSO GOING TO REMODEL OUR KITCHEN, SO WE ORDERED KITCHEN CABINETS ON HIS TIME FRAME AND THEY ARE STILL SITTING IN THEIR BOXES. HE TOLD US THAT WE NEEDED A NEW ROOF, EVEN NEW DECKING. AFTER HE WAS LET GO, WE HAD ANOTHER COMPANY LOOK AT OUR ROOF AND WE DID NOT NEED NEW DECKING. TERRY ALSO HAD US ORDER NEW WINDOWS AND THEN NEVER GOT AROUND TO INSTALLING THEM. WE HAVE DRYWALL MISSING ALL OVER THE HOUSE WHERE HE REMOVED IT FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER.
