Fred and Jim's Garage is wonderful! They have served the River Park area for many years, including many of us IUSB professors down the street. They do a great job, and are absolutely trustworthy, which is important for those of us who are not mechanically inclined. Many of my colleagues go there too, and I have heard nothing but praise.

I dropped my car off in the morning without knowing what was wrong - just that something was 'squealing'. They called me a little while later with the diagnosis - front brakes are gone - and quoted me their price. They replaced my front brakes and cleaned my rear brakes. I had my car back that afternoon.

They are absolutely honest. If you don't know anything about cars and are worried about someone taking advantage of you, this is the place to go. There have been times that they could have easily taken advantage of me, but they have always done the honest thing. INTEGRITY is their hallmark. I have been going here since their dads ran the garage (it is now Warren and Bob, sons of Fred and Jim), and I have always felt great about the experience.
