Hi, I am Jared and I run the Basement Waterproofing division. We run one crew of 3 to 4 people. This enables us to keep our overhead low and pass on the savings to our customers. I have 15 years of experience and personally been in over 2,500 homes. I know what works and what does not. That is why here at A&M we adapt to build the best Waterproofing System for you and your family. A&M carries Lifetime-Transferable warranties. I have a partner and his name is Mike. Mike is head of our exteriors division. Mike has 15 years experience in Roofing and Siding. Mike and A&M are Certified to install GAF manufactured shingles. We ONLY install one brand shingle. We believe that GAF brings the homeowner the best product and warranty. GAF has gone to a Lifetime Shingle with a 50 year proration start date. They did a good job of proofing the basement but they did not complete the job. They were supposed to come back to bury the pipe that drains the water out and they have not done so for more than a year. I called and have not received a response. Very disappointed.
The first time I used them they did a excellent job but this time I am not pleased at all.
The crew came out on a Monday morning and started the tear off on both buildings. I believe it was a crew of 7 or 8 so the work went very smoothly. All debris was removed and loaded as quickly as it came off. The whole job was finished by the end of the day and once again I was very satisfied with the quality of the work. I look at it this way, if you find a good contractor who does a good job at a fair price you stick with him.
There crews where attentive to detail (making sure my plants and trees weren't damaged) and when they where done, you could not tell that they had been there except for the new roof that was installed (no trash, nails, etc). They also took the time to file my warranty. From my stand point, above and beyond my expectations. I would absolutely recommend A&M 100%.

"I apologize for the confusion. The discrepancy in time was due to the difference between eastern and central time, and the sales associate was unaware he was late because he was under the impression that the appointment was central time. The sales associate had to confer with the owner of the company about the project, the estimate was for basement waterproofing and to install push piers to secure the foundation, therefore he had to email the estimate after he had talked to the owner of the company. I'm sorry for any confusion that this may have caused, if you have any more questions or concerns feel free to contact our office by phone at 574-855-1050"

"I am sorry you feel this way Mr. [Member name]. When we first showed up to your property to do the $99.00 inspection and seal, we removed 5 trash bags full of leaves and debris (about 200lbs)from your flat roof that you told us was recently repaired, this is not included in the deal you purchased and we did it free of charge. We inspected your entire roof and sealed everything necessary. During our inspection we took pictures of all the problem areas, we showed you some areas of concern, including your Chimney flashing which was in such bad shape it could not be sealed. We also pointed out in your home that there was some dry wall damage and you stated that was previous damage and you already had it fixed and were not interested in fixing it. You then signed a contract to have us fix your flat roof that was currently leaking, this did not include any chimney work as you stated you already had it fixed and were not concerned about it. As Jesse and I (the owner of A&M) were leaving you stated you had one more concern with a small overhang on your house, Jesse got his ladder back out and sealed that area. The day after we left Angie's List called us to make us aware you purchase these deals on Angie's List and then try to get refunded and leave bad reviews for the contractors. You also called us the next day and stated you had another area of concern, we sent our service tech out and you stated you wanted your gutters cleaned out which our service tech performed at no cost. Before we started the flat roof you again called and we sent our service tech out again and he sealed an area that you were concerned about again at no cost. The flat roof was then fixed, there have been no leaks since and instead of paying the bill, you are now trying to claim that we were supposed to re flash your chimney. That work is not on the contract and you stated you were not interested in getting it done because you already had it fixed. So we sent Jesse back out to give you an estimate to re flash your chimney which was an estimate for $1,500.00, NOT A BILL. I believe we went above and beyond and i'm not sure there is anything else we can do at this point. If you are an Angie's List Member reading this, please refer to all of our other reviews, as this review does not reflect my company in anyway, we should have walked away from Mr. [Member name] when Angie's List called to warn us about him but we have a great reputation of making every customer 100% satisfied."
