I took my dog to get her normal grooming. Typically they do a nice job and I always like the way she looks when we get home. This time the normal list of groomesr we like were not there. They recommended a groomer named Holly. I said that would be fine. I picked up my dog and got home to find her tail was bleeding from abrasions from excessive combing at the base of her tail. I was disappointed that no one mentioned this to me. I normally don't have to check her grooming. Beyond her tail bleeding she was also bleeding when she went #2. That really scared me. I called Pet Agree and was transferred to the owner Nancy. I explained to them what was done to my dog. She called the Brownsburg location to talk to the groomer. The groomer told her that the base of her tail was matted and needed some extra combing, but there was not bleeding. I asked her what she would do about it. She said she would give me $10 off on her next grooming. The next day I notice she was sill bleeding. I took pictures of her tail and anus and sent them to the email address on the site to the attention of Nancy. I asked what they were going to do about it. I received no response. I ended up taking her to the vet on Tuesday as she was still bleeding. The vet indicated that it appeared they had used a comb too severely on her tail and that was what caused the bleeding. The vet suggested sending the bill to the groomer indicating if they were a good groomer they would pay the bill. Needless to say Pet Agree did not pay the bill. I am very upset and angry that a dog grooming and lodging would treat my dog like they did. If they had said something when I picked her up, it would have been different. To not acknowledge my email for vet bill is unacceptable. I will not go back and will not be recommending them. Maggie Warren

I wanted to update my review. To my surprise when I came back from vacation I had received a check in the mail re-imbursing me for the vet bill and the total amount of the grooming. It also had a note from Nancy hoping that Dory was doing better. I appreciate this response although a little late in the process.

We use their grooming facility. The place is nice and clean. I don't have to leave my dogs there all day. There are windows there so you can watch when they groom them. They really do a nice jog and they are always really nice. The only thing is that they kind of keep a constant schedule, but that is to be expected because people call and make appointments and then if there is no appointments and they are closed for 2 to 3 hours; but it's usually not hard to catch them.

I am very pleased with the level of service and price. They were open on Sunday, when most other groomers were not. Your dog being skunked is never a planned event, so Sunday service was helpful. I walked in simply wanting to use a tub to wash my own dog with my own skunk detergent I had purchased at a pet store. The employee offered me PetAgree's proprietary protocol instead. She told me it would take about 5 hours and it could be done the same day. I was very pleased with this offer - it kept my dog indoors instead of outside in cold temperatures, and at a reasonable price. The staff met the promised time and my dog smelled great when finished, and the dog was allowed back in the house.
