1st came on 1/10/14- fixed toilet, reversed hot & cold in shower. Said needed to get parts to fix shower handles -said should be back next week. But I left a message & finally called again to get them back on 2/11/14. ON 2/11/14 fixed pop-up & both shower handles & controls

First off, after years of searching for a honest HVAC company, I have FINALLY found one. The entire experience with Plumbing Heating Paramedics was absolutely amazing. It all started when my blower decided to die on my 25 year old furnace the day before Christmas Eve. If you remember, it was extremely cold (around -10 degrees) that day. I called a handful of the bigger Indy area HVAC companies. Of the 7 companies I called, all ranged from $80-$275 for the trip fee, $600-$800 for the blower. So approximately $700-$1000+ to come out and fix it. NONE of the companies would be able to make it out until after Christmas also. This unfortunately was unacceptable. After receiving a huge recommendation from my boss regarding Plumbing Heating Paramedics, I decided to call them. They are located up on the far northside and I live on the southside. This coupled with the time constraints, I was bracing for the same answer given by the other companies. Speaking with the owner, Ryan, I knew it was probably time for a new furnace, as opposed to keep fixing components on this archaic system. I was absolutely shocked with what happened next. He stated he has a soft-spot for children and didn't want them to have their Christmas ruined by not having heat. Not only did someone come out within the hour to assess the furnace, they installed a blower and had the furnace running by the time I got home from work! I decided to get a brand new system installed by Ryan and his team immediately after Christmas. His pricing was well under the quotes I received from 4 other competitors! The best part was he WAIVED all costs that were incurred on the day before Christmas eve. That's right, he did not charge me for the blower, he did not charge me a service fee, he did not charge me labor. You may be thinking that it was bait and switch, by waiving all the blower-job fees, BUT let me remind you; the cost of a brand new high efficiency furnace and air-conditioner was well below other quotes I received! If you have had trouble with the "Big" HVAC shops in Indianapolis, do yourself a favor and make these folks that last HVAC company you will ever need to call. THANKS RYAN AND CREW!!!!!!

The technician arrived very quickly- just a few minutes after I called. I thought it might be a very expensive fix, or need replaced, but it ended up being an easy fix. They fixed the furnace quickly and then the the furnace tune up as well. I would highly recommend this company! The technician was very friendly and did the work quickly and efficiently. I had bought an AL coupon for a tuneup so he applied that and I signed up for the maintenance package so the service call was free. We had been with another company for the past 3 years, and I will now be using Plumbing and Heating Paramedics for now on!

I was very pleased with this service. I purchased both a furnace filter and humidifier filter prior to the visit, hoping that they would be put in. Turns out I didn't need the humidifier filter, as my humidifier wasn't working (disconnected). So I got a functioning humidifier back as well as the inspection. Good value for the money.

Nice, did what he was supposed to and left, less than 20 minutes.

Went well, had to reschedule due to weather and other client emergency but kept in touch to inform me and did a good job when he got here.

Everything was fine. They got me in quickly and showed up right on time. I cant say it was a complicated service call, but i wouldn't hesitate to call them for something more complex.

My real estate agent had recommended this company highly. When I went to Angie's List, I saw they were rated highly and they had a special deal for Angie's customers. I was delighted and immediately contacted them. With in a few days the inspection took place. The son of the owner did the inspection and could not have been nicer. I left him alone to do his work and when he finished, he told me of his recommendations. Overall the furnace was in good shape and with the coils cleaned, he felt it was good for a few more years. This information was passed on to the buyer.

The technician came out on one of the coldest days of the winter, arrived on time and checked out the heat pump. He was professional and knowledgeable. The nice person who takes phone calls and schedules appointments is also very polite and accommodating. This is the second time I have used this company this year and will call them for my next plumbing or heating issue.

The installation went smoothly. The technician arrived on time and worked efficiently. The only surprise was the cost. This was an Angie's List Deal advertised for $999.00 and I assumed that would be the total. I was not aware that the cost of a service call would be added on. It was not a diagnosis or repair but rather a purchased replacement. It may have been in the fine print but I do not recall reading that.

The plumber cleared our drain in about 30 secs. He was professional and curteous.

They were on time and did a quality job with the installation. However, they charged $324.35 for installing a simple manual thermostat, and they stated that they would simply remove the thermostat when I called to take issue with the price. What's more is they never made an effort to work with me and to resolve the problem in a mutually beneficial way. I even went to a hardware store and found the same thermostat for $39.50 which means they marked up the price 745%. Ultimately, I had no problems with the work, but I disliked the way they handled my concerns on the price. I will not use the company again for this reason.

When I called them, I told them what I wanted to do, and so he had all the parts in his truck. He was fast, efficient, and he did a good job on the sink.

PHP is very responsive to my requests and always works with me to get the service I need, provide a thorough explanation on what the problem is and gives me options to choose from for a solution. I very much appreciate the dependability especially with several rental properties that always need attention. Thanks!!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. They came out and did what they were going to do. The work was effective and everything went well. My furnace filter is not a common filter so I spent another $56 above the Big Deal price. I tried to call them back after I was having some issues with the furnace after my power went out, but I could never get hold of them.

He was perfectly nice. He came on time, he was very nice and efficient. He was knowledgeable, he reset the thing so that it would work better and explained a couple of things to me. Overall, I was very impressed. I thought that they were very good.

I was happy with the service I received. Originally when I had them come to do this, there was difficulty getting their equipment into the line due to the way it was constructed. The tried their best and didn't charge me for that trip because they were unsuccessful in clearing the problem. I had a new cleanout installed in the line and had them come back to clear the drain. They were able to successfully clear the clog in the main sewer drain that was causing water to backup. It has been working good ever since. I really appreciated their honesty with the situation I had and that they didn't charge me for the first trip. I would definitely use them again in the future.

We were very pleased all around. Randy came out each time and so it was a huge plus that he was familiar with our home and it put us at ease building that relationship with PHP through his work. We in no way felt pushed to make any big decisions after the plumbing inspection but based on the information and discussion with Randy we had some things to replace and we wanted to get the water softener, we just hadn't had a real opportunity to ask questions of anyone before and Randy made it easy for us to ask questions and figure out what worked for us. Our home is close to 60 years old, so there were some small issues on our end but each time the issues were resolved and the work was done professionally and with care. Everything was done in a timely manner but it never felt like the goal was to get the job done as fast as possible and get out. It was a very positive experience and we will use Plumbing Heating Paramedics for our plumbing needs going forward without question.

They were very cordial and I feel like they did a great job overall. They were $600 cheaper than the first estimate I received.

The service turned out very good. I thought the guys that came out were very professional, they know what they were doing and they did a good job in thoroughly explaining of what we needed to get the job done.

The plumber was quite professional, did a very good job, cleaned up after himself and was very pleasant. We were very pleased.

Technician was very knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. He was careful and methodical and answered all my questions.

We really like this business. Very responsive and professional office staff and technicians. We like the fact that their company is just the right size. Big enough to have adequate resources and staff but small enough to retain a personal touch. Owner ( Ryan ) is very available, friendly, and knowledgable.

Great experience. Showed up in allotted service window. Drained and removed old water heater with care in containing water drainage. Installed new commercial grade water heater. Cordially answered all of my inquiries and engaged in friendly conversation on all things plumbing and Central Indiana. Brice and Brent are great guys doing good work. Would highly recommend this company.
