the scheduler called and set up the appointment right away. The appointment was sooner than I thought. The service was on time and courteous. Helpful check up. System is in good shape.

We've been having fun dealing with multiple leaks as a result of our home being built in the early 80's and plumbing being done with poly pipe, which is prone to failure. Finally decided to move forward with replacing all the pipes in the house starting with all exposed piping. This included pipes in the basement and on the 1st floor since dry wall was already cut to to expose pipes in a closet due to previous repairs. I had 3 plumbing companies come out and estimate the work. The first estimated two days of work and $4200. The second estimated a day of work and $3200. Plumbing Heating Paramedics' estimate was one day and $1800. On top of such an excellent estimate, they offered to do more such as replacing ALL pipes, even the parts that were previously repaired so there would be no question which was their work versus someone else. I would have questioned such a low estimate if it wasn't for the fact that Bryce, who did the estimate and the install, actually measured the pipes while the other companies simply eyeballed it. Also, Bryce made the first company that estimated the work to be two days look like a joke since he started on the job at 10am in the morning by himself, got backup at 2pm, and STILL finished the work by 5pm. Excellent, excellent, excellent work from start to finish and a fair price. Bryce and Plumbing Heating Paramedics will be my first call when we're ready to replace the pipes on the second floor. If you're going to have a major plumbing project you'd be stupid to not call Plumbing Heating Paramedics for an estimate. I almost paid twice as much to another company for the same job and for less work.

They were the only company that I called that really knew the in's and out's of hot water recirculation pumps. They installed in a short time and now I have hot water in my back bathroom. I would definitely use them in the future for my plumbing or heating needs. Some other companies indicated that they did this kind of work and gave me a price but did not attempt to explain the process like "Plumbing Heating Paramedics" did. The service turned out really bad. We asked them drain my water heater, and they said they could not do it because my sump pump was not working. They said they could fix my sump pump, but we said no, because we have a home warranty that would do it for $50 when they wanted $700 and something. We asked them for a couple of other things, and they quoted very high prices. They wanted to drill a hole in my living room wall to fix a faucet on the outside of the house, and they don't do dry wall, and they wouldn't do it. The plumbing company that came with the home warranty fixed it without cutting any holes in any wall for a third or half of the price. They told me that a bathroom faucet needed to be replaced, and my brother fixed it in 15 minutes. They have never offered to come back and complete the draining of the water heater. If the service was completely, the price would have been great, but they have never completed the job I paid them for. I have never followed them up for it, but I expected them to follow up. They came on time.

My pilot light went out this morning. When I returned home from work I tried everything to get it re-lit but had no luck. I noticed on Angie's List that they had 24/7 service so I called at 10:00PM and was quickly taken care of. The gal took my information and said that someone would be calling me very shortly. My phone rang in less than 5 minutes and the gentleman walked me through everything in less than 10 minutes. What an awesome experience. I will certainly be calling Plumbing Heating Paramedics in the future for all my plumbing needs. Thank you for doing business the right way! It will certainly come back to you tenfold!

We had an old outdoor faucet that had broken and in the past I have always been able to fix it myself. However, they no longer sell the simple $10 fix and you need to buy the whole assembly. I didn't want to do that and for the past two years just made do without. I saw the faucet repair as part of an Angie's List Big deal so I decided to try it. The work was done quickly and as expected. The worker was prompt and took about an hour to complete the replacement. Everything looks and works fine. They had to come inside the house to do some of the pipe work and everything that I see looks nicely done. I would certainly use them again if the need arises.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good and it was probably a good deal. I asked the guy for some advice and an estimate on some work I need, so overall I would say it was good. There were no additional charges. There was also a coupon for $100 worth of work but I didn't act quick enough and it fully expired before I asked them to come out and do anything. I had another plumber come out later to do some work and he kind of said some different things than the Plumbing Paramedics guy said. I wasn't thrilled with it but they did what they advertised. They didn't do anything bad. For what he quoted, it seemed kind of expensive. I would possibly use them again.

Technician was there on time and did a nice job. Showed me where my furnace filter was which is very hard to find on this unit.

Quick to respond, seemed to have average pricing. Installed unit quickly, but I received no training on how to use it. Signed up for an up-charge to have two HVAC cleanings and inspections a year...never heard back from the company to schedule. Company also indicated I would get special work done on furnace for free...that never happened, either. There was a lot of talk about customer service, taking care of customers, etc during the sales process...but, once they were done with the work and paid, nothing else from them. I suggest you do not get any of the up-charge services as, at least for me, it was just throwing money away. Live and learn, I guess. If you're merely looking for someone to come in, install and then never see again, they are probably okay; you might be able to find better prices elsewhere. If you are looking for great customer service, a company that you feel comfortable working with over the long haul and equipment that is recognizable and functions as well as the "name brands", you should look somewhere else.

I contacted the provider because I wanted help with installing new tub/shower faucets to replace my existing ones which are usable but recently damaged. My online search for replacement parts raised more questions than it answered so I decided to seek the services of a plumber before buying parts I would have to return. When I saw the deal for an $89 water heater flush plus whole house plumbing check and the PHP bucks I figured I couldn't go wrong because my water heater hadn't been flushed in years so that alone was worth the deal. I also hoped to get my tub/shower faucet questions answered. Setting up the appointment went perfectly well. A date was scheduled, I was given a reminder call a day ahead of the appt. and the service guy called about a half hour before arriving. He quickly answered my tub/faucet questions plus a couple of other minor issues I have in my bathroom and then proceeded to the basement to do the water heater flush. In order to make use of the PHP bucks credit toward future work, I had to schedule a follow-up during the initial visit. I was shocked, however, when I was told how much the installation would cost. It seems about 5 times what I would expect for a straight forward installation of new hot and cold controls and a shower switch valve so I will not be using their services for that installation.

I made a call with regards to faucet that needed to be replaced and I didn't want to do that because I had got time. They were suggesting to replace two faucets instead of repairing them because repairing them would cost more than replacing them as it was custom iron faucets. They quoted me around $1000 for the replacement. When I looked online, it would have cost me around $700. The estimate was expensive than what I found online. They were right on time.

We paid for the $32 special, which include the service fee and $80 of credit towards repair, i was surprised that they wanted another $40 when they finished the job. The repair took about 5 minutes, and required 25 cents worth of plumbers putty. They explained that the shower drain plumbers putty can go bad after a number of years, so it just needed to be refreshed. I asked if they could put new plumbers putty on my 2 other shower drains since they are also 13 years old, and they didn't seem interested in doing any extra work. In the time they spent trying to sell me a contract for my HVAC system (really) they could have gone the extra mile.

It went very well. They replaced the old water heater and didn't leave a drop of water on my new hard wood floor. They were very considerate of my home considering my water heater is just off my kitchen/ family room.

We originally purchased a Big Deal for a furnace inspection and cleaning, at which time we learned that the heat exchanger was cracked and the unit needed to be replaced. We purchased a new high efficiency furnace which they installed shortly thereafter. All of the employees we dealt with were prompt, polite and knowledgeable. We are very happy with our new furnace and would definitely use them again in the future.

It went great. Bryce knew what the problem was immediately and repaired it quickly. He explained the problem to me and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. I was worried that I was going to have to replace it.

Workers are punctual, polite, and very professional. All work done to our satisfaction. They told us how to proceed in the most economical way which we appreciated. A good, ethical group.

He was cool, very good, came in, went right in to work and worked the entire time. He told us about some things that he found and offered options. He was very thorough.

It went really well. They were very punctual, courteous and honest. Every time they come out, they always explain what they're doing. I believe that they're not trying to overcharge. We are part of their home comfort service plan. You pay like $150 and they come out in the spring and in the fall for checkup and there is no additional fee if you have any emergencies throughout the year that they would need to come.

It was awesome! The tech was polite, on time and very professional. He was at my house for 3 1/2 hours cleaning and checking my four heat pumps. I wanted his opinion on the condition and efficiency of my units so I could start to plan and budget if a unit was near the end of its life cycle. He told me all units were fairly new, they were all up to industry standards as far as efficiency and that other than twice a year cleaning that nothing needed to be done.

Project went very well. I was concerned initially that the new water heater may not fit into the space allotted - it was 10 gallons larger than the old one. Installer came the day prior to the scheduled install date to measure. The day of the installation, I took 1/2 day off work in order to wait for the service person who was supposed to come at 3 pm. When he did not arrive by 4:30 I called to make sure I had the right day - I did, but the installer had been shifted to an emergency run 50 miles away. The installer came at 6:30 pm and, working alone, did all of the removal and installation himself. The new heater is much more modern and energy efficient than my old one, so I'm very pleased with the purchase.

I would highly recommend them. They were prompt and knowledgeable. I believe the price they charged was reasonable for the work that they did. The service that I've received from the young man who did the work was excellent. In fact, I'll probably ask for him in the future.

We woke up on one of the coldest winter mornings, to find our furnance had died. I hopped on angies list to find a deal. They were able to come out the next morning and able to install a new furnance with thermostat. they did a great job, very prompt. Would use again.

They were okay. They came back again and again until they get it right. The situation got solved. My interaction with the provider is very nice. They took them so long to figure out what the problem really was.

So I callled to set up the appointment a few weeks ago and I specifically asked for the plumber who had traced the gas leaks in January. The appointment was rescheduled once and then two plumbers came out this week to do the job and had absolutely no idea of what they were supposed to do. I had also requested a sump pump PVC pipe be relaced that had cracked during the winter and a toliet looked at--nothing done. I have called them twice since then and I have been told they are working on an estimate--bottom line, three weeks have gone by and my problem is not fixed. I am ready to call another company.
