This is a great company. The entire team just awesome. From the sales person, to the owner, to the HVAC install team. They all were very knowledgeable, friendly, dedicated to do their part for the customer. It was a pleasure to do business with this company.

Using the Big Deal could not have been easier and the technician was good. We ended up having a pinhole leak on a very narrow section of tubing in our evaporator coil which was impossible to solder. So the option was replace the evaporator coil and charge the heat pump again with pricey R-22, or replace the entire split system heat pump. There were apparently lots of reasons not to just replace the coil... but the estimate on a new system started at $5700. I can't say anything bad about how they handled the Big Deal. It was easy to schedule and they came out in a hurry. I decided not to go with them on replacement because I have to go with the lowest cost option possible for us right now. I don't believe $5700 is the best price we can get on a new system.

I called them on a Tuesday and they came out the next day. I thought I had a problem with my air conditioner. It was not blowing out cold air. PHP came and the guy came and assessed the situation. He determined that my air conditioner needed to be cleaned. He gave the outside unit a thorough cleaning. It began blowing out cold air and has been working fine. I definitely recommend PHP and would use them again.

We had a gas leak at my house right before I left for a weekend away with my wife. The company would not tell me how much it would cost per hour to fix the issue. They told me it would be $70 dollars for him to come out. My dad worked with the nice repair man to hook an air compressor up to the system to find the leak (my air compressor). The repair man was at the house for less than 3 hours. My total bill was $510.00 dollars! I was expecting at max a hundred dollars an hour. The company should be upfront on the costs. All I got was a line item telling me it was $510.00! The cost for this repair was excessive and highway robbery. I expect more from companies on Angie's List. The repair man who came to the house was very punctual, professional, very nice, and fixed the situation in a timely manner.

Technician arrived as scheduled and seemed proficient. Total time of the call was just about an hour. He took the time to explain what we were looking at once he uncovered the sump pit Overall the price of the deal and the service provided were well within reason. Peace of mind that the sump pumps and the backup power supply are in worrking order is nice too

Excellent. He was done in no time and it looked great.

3 things: (1) I learned that I misinterpreted the Angie's List deal that led me to hiring the provider. We purchased our own replacement toilet at Menard's, thinking that the provider would give us $100 credit toward the $249 package deal (which included a new toilet and installation). Learned afterward that the credit applied only if you select an upgraded unit from the provider. So, due to my error we ended up paying $249 for the deal plus $180 for the toilet that didn't come with the deal. (I managed to sell the toilet that came with the deal.) (2) In hindsight the provider's deal offered by Angie's List didn't seem to be all that great of a deal. The toilet that was included in the offer was of low quality, at least as compared to the unit that we purchased. Assuming that it was valued at $100 (given the credit I mentioned above), that means that I paid $149 for the installation, which took less than an hour. So I have to wonder how much they charge without the benefit of the deal. (3) The installation went smoothly. The tech was polite and clean, did his job in well under an hour, and he hauled away our old water-guzzling toilet. I have no complaints about the quality of his work. Again, the quality of the new toilet that came with the AL deal was questionable. We're glad that we selected our own elsewhere. (Remark regarding my "C" ranking for quality: "A" for service quality, "F" for product quality.)

Great! Willie (tech) showed up promptly. Did a routine check of my A/C and even made some adjustments to make it run quieter. Words can't describe how much I appreciated that/him.

Appointment was able to be scheduled very easily and quickly - very professional. My husband met with the provider who performed the services. Minor repairs were suggested for bathroom fixtures. Unfortunately, we felt that the estimate for the tub/shower repair was high and decided to get another estimate.

Excellent! The installation was clean and efficient and as a bonus removed that "distinctive" Indianapolis water flavor that also improved the morning coffee!

Making the appointment was simple and efficient. Everything was confirmed the day before as well. The provider updated us with his time of arrival. He quickly diagnosed and solved our problem. The repair could not have gone more smoothly. We were hoping to find a plumbing service we could rely on and will definitely use them again in the future.

Great--we recently purchased a home and it seems the water softener hadn't been cleaned in a looong time. The provider cleaned the tank, etc. and gave us the knowledge we need to keep up with maintenance.

Friendly service person, put booties on feet prior to entering home. Took old disposer with him and did cleaned work area when finished. Service took longer than I anticipated (couple of hours) but this was not really an issue as I did not have anything else to do that day.

We called them out because we were having a sulfur smell in our basement. We set up an appointment and they arrived on time. They were really nice guys.

Service person arrived on time and was professional and courteous. Performed all work in an organized manor and provided recommendations. Work was performed well and the one problem we had was fixed properly.

I purchased a Big Deal and they were able to come out pretty fast after the purchased. They did a great job they are working on other projects for us now.

The provider was able to schedule right away--this is a plus as many providers become too overwhelmed with clients with they offer a coupon or big deal through Angie's list. Arrived on time, gave a VERY detailed report, and didn't try to sell me on unnecessary products. Great experience!

They said that the toilet problem was caused by air not getting down through a roof vent or pipe or something. They came, got on the roof, and worked for a couple of hours, then they tried snaking the line, but said they didn't have the right size equipment and couldn't fix the problem. Another option was to have them come back and install some sort of cleanout, but that would have involved breaking up part of a cement patio we'd had put in not that long ago. They never could fix the problem. We had another plumbing company come and they couldn't fix it either. Then my husband called Roto-Rooter. They came out and cleaned out the pipe, no problem. But in all fairness, this company only charged us for a service call.

I called the provider originally about getting an estimate for a sump pump replacement. I was under the impression they were going to charge me for checking the pumps, so they recommended I purchase this Big Deal. I found another provider that said they'd check them at no charge so this service was not necessary and they just gave me a free estimate. I already wrote customer service about this on 7/15/14.
