That was okay. They did really good, excellent and very thorough. They were easy to work with and explains what were needed and they were thorough at estimate of the cost and they were reasonable. I would use them again in the future.

I requested this fellow because he’d done my air conditioner. He was here for over an hour and wanted to clean the hose that time, so it was good. I was amazed because the previous company was here for just 15 minutes and neglected things. He was very nice and honest and conscientious as well. So he came back to work on the furnaces - there's one in the attic and one downstairs.

We had them do a lot of work for us, and unfortunately ran into a handful of (minor & easily fixed) issues along the way ....which made them have to come back a time or two. To their credit, they were happy to address our concerns and they did make it right. They were very gracious in fixing the issues, and for that, for an overall rating and for quality, I gave them a B and will say we are fairly satisfied with the final (corrected) product as of date. However, based on our experience, and the few setbacks, I would not be able to easily chose them again without giving other companies consideration first. Having said that, based on how well they addressed our concerns, and how well they are rated on here overall, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe we just caught the technician on an off day. (it was his first day back from vacation....seriously......and he was also training a fairly new looking guy as well). So maybe that had something to do with it. (?) They appeared to care and want to make it right on the back-end, so I can't go as far as to discourage anybody else from using them because our experience involved some rework and a bit of a hassle. If you like what you see in their other reviews, then take this review with a grain of salt and perhaps just double check their work when it is all said and done.

Bobby arrived on time and brought someone to help him remove old water heater and install new one. He also installed a water softener. We didn't have the right water connectors, so had to change those out too. We love the hot water this heater gives and without the noise the old one made! The water softener works very well, also. It is one that recycles only when it measures a certain amount of water has been used, so it is very efficient! When we last checked, it hasn't needed recycling yet (has been about 4 weeks). The price was very good for both of these items.

I received 2 estimates for replacement of a sump pump and a sink pump under the bar in my basement. Bryce from PH Paramedics was the only company representative interested enough to supply an estimate two ways; for the replacement of both pumps with PHP supplying the pumps and an estimate for installation only if I purchased the pumps. No surprise, because of mark up, I was able to purchase the pumps over the internet for a dramatically reduced cost from what either of the companies could supply the pumps. Since PHP had the best price and, more important, was the only company of the two interested in performing the work even though it was for installation only, I hired them. It took Bryce approximately 2-3 hours to install and check both pumps and check valves. With the Angie?s List coupon I was able to get both pumps installed for $375. I must make the point the price from the other company was over $400 more for the same installation only service. I understand the ability for companies to charge what the market will accept but to the other company wanting to charge the ridiculous cost for installation only?shame on you. Thank you PHP.

It went really well. The technician was very professional. He spent quite a bit of time looking over and determining the problem. He was spot on with the solution. I would recommend them.

Purchased $89 whole house inspection with $100 toward any repairs ( which was not used because the plumber said there were no problems after his ten minute assessment of the house). Missed a hole in a bathroom pipe during inspection less than six days ago. The leak created a large wet spot on my main floor ceiling. Had to pay another plumber to fix a pipe that should have been discovered during the WHOLE house inspection. Very disappointed!!! Would like my money refunded.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. They were awesome on just about every aspect of the deal.

arrived on time and performed the work satisfactorily. However, the faucet seems somewhat flimsy compared to the one that was replaced.

I have used them several times and they have always done a good job. I have been happy with them. I have had no problems with the scheduling.

I can't say enough great things about PHP. I purchased a plumbing 'Big Deal' a couple years ago and that was the beginning of a rare home owner / service provider positive experience time after time. I had received an estimate to replace only my HVAC and it came in nearly 30% more for HVAC only compared to everything I had them do, see services provided above. Ryan and the whole team are very responsive and very professional. They even helped my old AC limp through the weekend until they could come back and do the work on Monday. I recommend them to anyone in need of any plumbing or HVAC needs.

They did a great job and recommended a cost effective fix for a leaky main line, even when they could have advised we need an expensive repair.

He replaced the spicket, which turned out to be no easy task. Up front, he advised us he would have to access pipes from our basement and cut a small hole in the finished ceiling. He was very careful cutting through the drywall, preserving the piece so it could be easily put back in for patching. The replacement parts were metal, and he used silicone caulk. He finished the job in a little over an hour. We haven't tried it yet (you have to wait 24 hours), but it seems to be very solid.

The company installed our new toilet within 2 days of the purchase of the special offer!!!!!! Brett arrived at the appointed time and switched out and installed the new toilet within an hour.

When he came, he discovered that the replacement was unnecessary, and that the spigot was just loose. They fixed that minor problem and charged me a service fee, so I'm getting the deal refunded. I was very happy with them, and they may install a water softener for me.

I originally found this company on Angie's list with a special they were offering for a new A/C and furnace. We were having problems with a part on our old furnace (14yrs old) that wasn't made anymore, and we decided to bite the bullet and get the whole thing replaced, as we had two kids getting ready for college and knew that finances would be very tight the next 8 yrs. We also got all the extras ( extended labor) so that we could have one company that we could count on, if there was any problems, and so that those problems wouldn't cost us an arm and a leg. We were very pleased with our A/C, it cools great. However, because the new system is so much more efficient (it does cool much better than our last system) we started having problems with excess condensation in our garage, to the point of damaging our drywall and the base that the furnace sits on. We had our usual fall and spring service calls, and I mentioned this to the repairmen, and was told it was just on the outside of the furnace, because our garage was so warm, and because we usually leave our door cracked for a feral cat to get in and out. However, this summer, the condensation was just ridiculous, so I called the Paramedics to come out specifically to look at this, and was advised that our original duct work in the garage and under the house was not insulated, and needed to be insulated to stop the condensation. My husband was concerned that this wasn't determined at the original installation visit,so I contacted the company and the owner and his father came out and really did a thorough inspection and determined exactly what we needed. I was very impressed with the personal attention they gave our problem. They installed the new duct work and it looks great, and has really cut down on the condensation (though it hasn't eliminated it completely). However, two days ago, when I was getting ready to clean, I noticed our downstairs vents were covered with a mold (so bad it was even going up the leg of a table near one vent) that hadn't been there a couple weeks ago. My husband contacted the Paramedics, and was told they would get back with him the next day. When they didn't, I called them, because the mold did not show up until after the ducts under the house were insulated and it definitely seems like there is a connection ( no mold on the upstairs vents, which they did not wrap). When the serviceman got here, he said the mold was showing up because " when they wrapped the ducts, it caused the condensation to dry up and when the moisture dried up it caused the mold to grow". I don't really understand this explanation, but he said I needed to get the duct work cleaned (add another $500 to my ever growing total) and that would solve the problem. Then, he proceeded to charge me $69.95 for the 10 minutes he was here (he literally looked at one vent, looked at the front of the furnace and was done), because the problem wasn't "their fault"!!!!! I have very mixed emotions about this company after the service call today, on the one hand, Ryan (the owner) and his father seem like the nicest people in the world, and have gone out of their way, and taken extra time to make sure things are being done right and offer a reasonable price. On the other hand,The service call that occurred today was completely unacceptable. What I really wanted from the service call today,was for them to check under the house, where the duct work was insulated, and make sure that there wasn't any problem with it that was causing the mold. I did not get this. I am very upset that they charged me $69.95 for this visit, because, we have lived in this house (built it) for 15 years, NEVER had any problems with mold on our A/C vents (even when we were having the condensation problem), then we pay $2,700 to get our duct work insulated and we now have mold issues, and they have the nerve to say they have to charge me because it was" not their fault, but it IS happening because the duct work was insulated"! And now I have to spend more money to fix this problem (I have a daughter with asthma, there is no option not to). We are really pleased with our A/C unit, and we think the work they did on the ducts very good and necessary, however, when this work created a new (expensive) issue (that was never brought up to us as something that might occur), we feel like it was handled poorly.

There were no troubles with the service. They are a little aggressive in trying to sell their service agreement. They did send someone out here and got the work done for us. Overall, my experience with them was fine.

We were also supposed to have an inspection of the ductwork. That did not happen. However, the gentleman was very polite and wore covers on his shoes when he came into the house.

The technician found nothing wrong with the unit. It was working as designed and was cooling the house effectively at the time however it wasn't as hot as normal in July and the technician said perhaps it can't handle a heavier load. We had warmer weather and it is working okay. The technician was courteous and informative.

The service was excellent and went great. I would recommend them and I think he is wonderful.
