Plumbing Heating Paramedics

Britt took 10 minutes to review the jobs and spent 20 minutes in his van on the phone. He then gave me an estimate of $289 to install the instant water heater unit and $252 to repair the faucet water leak -- both estimates included the $69 coupon repair credit. Britt then spent his time trying to sell me a "Home Comfort Service Agreement" for $149 which would give me a further 10% discount and guarantee for PHP repairs. I asked Britt to quote his hourly labor repair rate -- and how long that he thought it would take to install my "instant water heater" unit. He stated that PHP does not quote jobs on that basis. I told Britt I would not accept PHP's quote and would have to get other bids. I did send PHP a message using Angie's message service later that day- stating my disappointment with Britt's quote -- but never received a followup call from Plumbing Heating Paramedics. I did get my two jobs quoted and completed last week --- for HALF the cost quoted by PHP. I still have a coupon for $69 labor credit with PHP -- not sure how they buy all their "A" ratings --- yet they even neglected to give me a followup call after their visit and reading my message asking if their quote was fair. I advise other Angie readers that PHP is too big -- and customers can obtain lower cost repair service -- if they use other Angie listed plumbers = even of they have less "A" ratings.

Called Paramedics charged $109 for service call because it was a Saturday. Guy came in had no Tools. Kept looking called someone on the phone and was told what to do! Left to get the plier, we already had a new washer and we already had the faucet taken out. He used the plier changed the washer. He told us it will cost additional $400. We already had paid $109. didn't know what to do? Asked him how did he get to his number!!! He said that they've a book that they follow but it's all flat rate. Had no choice. Knew price is way too high. We should have said "NO "but didn't! Thought will have to pay service fee to the second company also.... My experience "Not Good"

I have not redeemed my services yet.

$99 special for sump pump examination and installation of new check valve. Great service, prompt, did job without upgrade sales pitch. Gave estimates for future work I'm considering.

I was extremely please with employees from the lady who answer the phone to the technician who came to my home, Brett A. He was very respectful and knowledgeable about his trade. He always called ahead and was on time! Thank you for expertise, Pam Snyder

It was fine. I didn't pay more than the Big Deal price. It was easy to schedule and they showed up on time. The price was reasonable.

The service was okay. They were not able to repair it which I was disappointed in, but I knew that might have been a possibility. The guy was very courteous. He showed up on time. He gave it his best effort and gave us a recommendation on what we needed to do to replace the whole toilet. It was to stop a leak. There were no additional charges to the $49 Big Deal cost because he could not do anything. He could not do any repairs. Technically, he actually broke it. There was a leak he was trying to fix and he tried so hard to tighten it up that he actually cracked the toilet. I appreciated his effort in trying it. I wish that had not have happened, but I probably would have paid another plumber to try to fix it. So, at that point, I just kind of said that we needed to get another toilet. Well, he gave it a try. Even though he cracked it which made the replacement 100% necessary, I do not hold that against them. It is a possibility it might have happened with anybody. So, I was not disappointed with their service. I would still use them again.

They promptly contacted me to set up an appointment for measurement and worked around my crazy schedule by coming out at 7:15 in the morning!. Two days later two very polite and professional workers came out with the new furnace, worked diligently and within 2.5 hours I had heat. They hauled away the old furnace, cleaned up quickly and I couldn't be happier.

I was very impressed by these guys. Initially the work was scheduled for the next day, but I asked them if I could send a video of the noise to them to see if I needed to shut off the heater. After watching the video, they recommended that I turn the heater off and they told me they would get someone out there the same day. They diagnosed the issue as a bad blower motor and gave me a quote to replace.

Did exactly what I wanted them to do.

They were friendly, on time and did a great job. I will use them again in the future.

In general their prices were higher than a competitor. They did come back out and did it all under warranty. They didn't catch the second leak when they were here the first time. There was no cost. I would have preferred if they had found it the first time. There was a leak around the faucet. The new gasket was leaking. They did replace the basket strainer. My main dissatisfaction was not identifying the second leak. There were other items they did while here. I will use them again because of the service agreement. They did replace a valve on the toilet.

They did a good job. They were able to rebuild it and save me some money.

It was easy to schedule an appointment. He showed up on time. He seemed to be very thorough. He informed me of other services his company has and left information with me. My toilet is still running without any problems.

The prospective buyer was at the house and the plumber took the time to answer any of his concerns. We could not be there as we now live in Kansas. There were no plumbing problems as was stated in the inspection report.

The provider was suppose to replace handle on my Moen Kitchen faucet....but only had Delta handles(most popular) Sent me to a plumbing shop in Fishers who didn't have it either. Attempting to contact Moen to get a replacement handle. The service tech stated he wouldn't mark my ticket finished and to call them back when I got the part I needed so he could come out and provide the service. Service rep was very nice and helpful.

We have never had a sump pump tune-up and thought it was a good idea for the price. The work that I paid for was well done. However a significant problem immediately occurred that resulted in an additional expense to a relatively new hot water furnace where the tech worked and an angry customer. Coincidence? Perhaps. But in my mind not likely. I had another company assess the problem and fix it. Most people would rake a company over coals with negative feedback. In my situation I will not and in fact would use them again because of their customer service to resolve the matter, even after the other company came in. The owner of the company called and said, don't worry, here is how I will solve the problem and please accept my apology. He then asked what else could he do for me? A perfect example of class and business etiquette! The other problem was probably a coincidence. But with so many cheaters out there you assume the worse. I will use Plumbing and heating paramedics again!

It went fine and my furnace is working.

They unclogged the toilet, however we noticed that our toilet was scratched. I called last Monday to let them know about the problem, and was told that they would reply. A week went past, but I was not contacted. I gave them a call, and was told that the damage is to be expected.

It was pretty standard. I was happy with the work. It was what I expected, nothing stood out good or bad.

Everything went really well. They arrived exactly when they said they would, they provided helpful information about my condo's plumbing, and they did a good job without leaving a mess.

I had a 20 year old home that I had just purchased and it had a front faucet that was leaking and rusted. I didn't know how extensive the work would be. They came out very promptly and they got it fixed. No more drippy muddy area. I was braced to hear that I might need to spend more money, but they carefully explained what needed to be done and were very professional.
