Fantastic experience from point of sale to completion. The technician, Josh, was excellent and went out of his way to make sure the job was carried out and completed the right way. The owner, Ryan, was a pleasure to deal with.

Bobby came in the time frame scheduled with a phone call prior to his arrival. The simple fix was running the water in the tub (I never use it). While he was there I had him repair a toilet that would run after it was flushed. Bobby was very friendly and accommodating.

They were very professional. They did not find a leak in the toilet and did some tests on the water line to the ice maker and found both to be working properly. They were honest about not needing to do any additional repairs and did not charge us anything more than we had paid through Angie's list. I will definitely call them again if I have any plumbing issues.

The guy explained how the whole thing works. They were prompt in scheduling. The gentleman who came out was very nice and gave us good information.

We have used Plumbing Heating Paramedics pretty much exclusively now for plumbing and furnace issues, as we have been quite pleased up to now with their service, response, quality of work, professionalism, etc.. Due to that, when they were out on Mar. 17th to install a replacement water dispencer on our kitchen sink, we decided to take out a renewable Home Comfort Service Agreement for a year. The $380 we paid to them on Mar.17th included the Service Agreement, the water dispencer, installation and the service (purchased through Angies List.

Everything went well. Called first thing in the morning and the technician, Josh, arrived around 10 am. Excellent response time. Josh diagnosed the problem and attempted to make repair. The situation required further work beyond the scope of the technician so he made temporary repairs to allow the sump pump to continue to perform its function. Arrangements were made for another person to evaluate and estimate for a permanent repair. Excellent response time. Company provided discounted price due to our ongoing relationship.

Old furnace making strange noise. Bearings were going out. To replace was over 700.00 plus other stuff. Decided to go with new furnace. Done when said they would. Everything went smoothly.

They couldn't solve the problem with the leak. I had another plumber come to fix it. The disposal installation was fine. They were professional and pleasant.

They did a good job. They had to come back out because it was leaking a little after the install, but they came right out and fixed the problem.

They called this morning and cancelled my appointment due to someone being sick. They wanted to reschedule for tomorrow. They kind and courteous about cancelling but it just didn't meet my needs. I've waited long enough and have water leaking from my toilet. I have found someone to do the work today and have asked for a refund.

The work was not straightforward and the initial plans had to be abandoned once work began. The technicians were very upfront with this potentiality and made sure I was informed throughout the process of the best route to proceed. I was able to make all decisions and felt that the project was done only as I wanted it to be. The outcome was fantastic, the specific problem was addressed and the craftsmanship of the exterior vent was excellent. Despite the work requiring at least double the time and extra material, the original quoted price was honored. I couldn't be happier with the workmanship and service.

Josh arrived on time late in the afternoon. He tore out the drywall enough in my basement ceiling to expose a pinhole leak. The leak was in an old 40 foot galvanized pipe. He was able to put on a temporary patch so I could keep the water turned on until the final repair could be made. The next day, the final repair was completed within the quoted price. (Luckily, repairing this leak didn't show any others beyond the original pipe. If it had, those repairs would have cost extra.)

Outrageous pricing and low quality parts. It was a simple job, and the cost was way out of line, and value was very low since the quality of the materials was marginal. I do not recommend using this company, and will never use again myself.

I purchased a BIG DEAL from Angie's List for a furnace tune-up that INCLUDED a new furnace filter. When the service person arrived, he was on time and professional, but tried to charge me an extra $100 for two filters. I objected and he removed the filters. The problem I had was that my certificate said a new filter was included. Angie's List and Plumbing/Heating Paramedics blamed each other and neither company agreed to take responsibility for an apparent mistake on the BIG DEAL. So, I decided to go by my own furnace filters and replace them myself...at a cost of $16. If I can buy a replacement filter for $16, imagine what a large company can buy them for. Trying to charge me $100 for something that I can buy for $16 is anything but a deal. I don't have a problem with anyone trying to make a profit, but I did NOT get what I paid for and neither Angie's List, nor Plumbing and Heating Paramedics would take responsibility for the mistake. Both refused to reimburse me for the $16 that I asked for. That's it. It would have taken $16 to make a satisfied customer, and both companies would rather leave a customer feeling negative instead of refunding the $16. The whole experience left a bad taste for me.

Different repair options were shown & explained to me by the tech on the first day. He also showed me components within the inside unit that could possibly pose a problem when a/c weather arrives, but recommended waiting to make sure. I ended up purchasing the option that includes spring & fall HVAC inspections, which was only $1 more after the discounts were applied. He also gave me advice on preventing my pipes from freezing, as my furnace was out during the time we had sub-zero temps. Day 2, a different tech came to install the motor. He finished the job quickly & made certain I had received all of my paperwork for the inspections & the warranty on the blower motor. The motor came w/ a 1 year warrantee, and Plumbing Heating Paramedics added an additional 2 years. Both techs were very friendly, courteous, & knowledgeable. And, to top it off, when I went outside later on the 2nd day, I discovered that the tech had brought my trashcan up from the curb & put it in my garage for me!

They were very quick to schedule the appointment, although they had to call and reschedule due to over booking. The technician showed up early and completed the job in a very efficient manner. The water softener works great!
