Plumbing Heating Paramedics

Purchased a package from Angie's List. Technician was very professional and helpful.

My problem was a faucet that had been dripping for months. The plumber (Bart) was very professional. He was very good in coordinating schedule; promptly returned phone calls. He arrived and went straight to work; explained problems with my bathroom faucet. I thought I would have to completely replace the faucet, but he had the necessary parts to retrofit my existing Delta faucet and avoid potential problems with my antiquated drain. When he left, the faucet was drip free. He also looked at some other plumbing problems that needed to be repaired in the near future. I will certainly call PHP to do that work.

They fixed the shower leak but could not find the other issue. They came back out with another person to solve the other issues and figured it out. Overall they were outstanding in services. They did not charge me the for the second time they came out for services.

They are wonderful in services. They did everything they said they would. They keep things clean and had the know how to do the work. They are very nice in services.

the sink was fixed wonderfully. One toilet after a few days went back to not flushing properly and the other one better. They were polite and helpful. I felt like the toilets weren't taken enough time with since the sink had already been fixed.

The "work" was supposed to be: looking for water leaks. (No work done.) I don't know the datewhen he was here but I know I had the heater replaced in February. Even though they supposedly sent a person with good experience, I had to show him where the leak was. The water heater was leaking. He did not see it. I had to point it out to him. I figured that if he missed a rather obvious leak, I could not trust him to find any leaks. I got the water heater replaced by another party.

Professional appearence and behaviour. Was able to quote me on another plumbing issue after calling a superior. On time.

The jobs were performed quickly and well. I was impressed by their professionalism and courtesy and quick, excellent work. I purchased a service contract that included heating and air conditioning check-ups/cleaning. They just finished (10/15/2012) my heating check up and cleaning and told me several things to watch for issues in the future. Good company - I would recommend their service.

Absolutely great service. My only disappointed was I thought the plumbing flush including pulling the water heater rod and cleaning it...but it didn't....the coupon did not say this would be accomplished but I assumed it was part of the flush....probably my mistake. But , the service technician was very professional and knowledgeable....A+ experience in that regard.

We would recomend this company to other people.

I am yet to get a call from the company to schedule the appointment. I am interested in utilizing the deal but have not heard from them.

The plumber made a quick trip through the house, "inspecting" our plumbing. I had three issues I had specifically wanted to be checked which I assumed was handled in a "full house plumbing inspection." The issues were: 1. an odor in kitchen sink, 2. a drip in kitchen faucet, 3. a constantly running toilet. He basically told me we all have different noses that are more sensitive to smells, told me he couldn't fix drip in faucet without totally replacing it, and told me toilet needed replacing. He did flush the water heater. I did not see him check either of our outside hose faucets, although after he left I saw that was checked off on the inspection sheet. He left me with quotes for repair and/or replacement for two toilets and a quote to replace kitchen faucet. He also left me with info for purchasing a water softener as well as membership. The plumber wasn't particularly happy to be sent to the far south side on the end of his Friday route, when the shop and his home were far north. (Personally, I didn't blame him for that.) For a $69.00 special, I guess you could say I got what I paid for. Needless to say, the kitchen odor continued. I called Carter Plumbing and they came out and diagnosed the odor issue in 30 seconds. Carter's plumber replaced the studor mechanical vent and odor is gone!

The company did a good job at what was performed. This was basically an introductory offer. I would use them again, although I found their quote for installation of a new sump pump system to be a bit high and ended up having that done by another Angie's List recommended provider, Bedell Plumbing of Carmel, which we have used previously.

Our 5 year old water heater went out over the weekend, we called several companies to get it replaced under manufacturer warranty. This company was very responsive and got it taken care of that afternoon. They were very prompt and very professional. We still paid $500 for installation, the pricing seemed fairly competitive on the market, but the market seems to be overpriced. Overall,our experience was very good and we would use this company again!

I called on a weekend because we suddenly no hot water. They talked me through step by step to relight the pilot on the phone. This didn't work without it going out again. Made arrangements to come out first thing the next morning and discovered a leak in the old water heater. Ryan looked up the information and discovered that it was still under warranty (just barely within one month of expiration) and he went to get a replacement and immediately got us up and running with a new one. All work was done quickly and efficiently and to my satisfaction. I have used this company several times and have always been pleased with the service.

I purchased the Angie's List "Big Deal" for this company for $49. As I understood it, that would be the charge for a full hour and I would pay for any parts. When it was all said and done and the guy was ready to give me the total he said the charge would be around $95, but I had alredy paid the $49 and I told him that was false advertising. I explained this to him and he said that was fine, any customer that mentions the Angie's List deal would get the discounted rate, otherwise he would have had me pay almost the full price. I still had to pay him $62 and I don't think that was just for the parts even though he was only there for 1/2 hour. Other than the price confusion, the service was good.

They came earlier than expected and were just excellent. This is the first time I have called them and I will be calling them again if I have any needs in the future.

They are excellent, I have used them in the past and have never had any problems. They are very fair and reasonable.

Arrived on time - everything done very neatly and quickly. The coupon cost $51 and that was for one hour of work. They took an hour and a half so I paid for the extra half hour plus the supply lines and shut off valves, which did not come with the faucet I had purchased from Costco. I shopped around and the least expensive I could find this for was $250.00 so I am very pleased with the price and with how good my plumbing now looks under my sink. The old faucet had been in place at least 20 years, and removing all the all corroded pipes is what added on to the time.

They were fine. They were really nice. Very pleasant to work with.

While I have no problem with the work done, I was not pleased with the plumber's attitude. He made me feel that he was doing me a favor picking up the water heater and then complained about how long it took when he got back. After the work was done, he wrote up the bill and forgot to deduct the amount I'd paid for the Angie's Deal (which was part of the deal). He complained again about how long it took and that he should have charged me more. He told me what a great deal I was getting and seemed generally put out. Again, I have no problem with the work, but I don't appreciate being scolded and made to feel guilty for asking to have the terms of an agreement upheld. I would probably use the company again, although I would ask for a different plumber.

I noticed that our water heater was leaking from the bottom and needed to be replaced. I called the company that had installed the water heater originally when our house was built. to get a quote on how much it would cost to replace it. They quoted me a price of around $2,500 ($1,995 for the water heater, $350 for labor, plus tax and other items). This seemed excessively high for a 50 gallon water heater. Our water heater did have a power vent so we needed to replace it with a similar model. I looked on Angie's List and noticed that Plumbing Heating Paramedics had received excellent reviews. I called them and spoke to Ryan who was very helpful. Since my wife was home, he stated that he could get the water heater replaced that afternoon for $1,599. From looking on the internet, the price was very reasonable. My wife said that the crew showed up on time, professional, courteous, and very pleasant to work with. They completed the job within 90 minutes which included taking away the old water heater and assuring that the new water heater was operating properly. Needless to say, we plan to use Plumbing Heating Paramedics for all of our future plumbing needs. This includes having them take over our annual heating and cooling system checks.

They came out to put a new seal on the toilet. I would use them again.
