Plumbing Heating Paramedics

After noticing that our new efficient furnace was helping to create a drier environment, we called the company about a whole house humidifier. We felt that we got a good price, and the installer was persistent in getting the job done despite several problems not of his own making. Several days later, we noticed a slow drip of water coming from the humidifier. The company was very quick in returning the same gentleman to get it fixed. He found the original problem, then double checked several other possible trouble areas. I have checked the area several times and the area is bone dry. Both in this case and an earlier furnace install, we found Plumbing Heating Paramedics to be very professional. We will strongly consider calling them again for related needs.

It went well. The parts needed for our shower faucet were very old and we were not sure if they would be in stock at the plumbing supply. Our plumber was patient with me as I took a photo of the old part that he removed and sent a picture to the supply house. Fortunately they had the parts. As per my request I went to fetch the parts while he replaced our toilet and by the time I got back the installation was complete and then he repaired the faucet with the new parts. The whole job went quickly, he cleaned up after himself and once he left there was no mess and we had a leak free faucet and new toilet.

Technician did a thorough inspection of my home's plumbing and then performed an effective water heater flush. He carefully answered all of my plumbing related questions. Also, while flushing the water heater he checked the gas line going to it and found a slight leak and repaired it as part of the overall service. That alone made me glad I had them out! I will use this company for future plumbing work without hesitation.

The plumber was professional. He had to completely remove the toilet and spent considerable time getting the pair of glasses out of it since they evidently had gotten stuck. When he left, we had a clear drain and everything was back to normal. The cheap glasses did not fare as well :) Great work!

I scheduled an appointment to have them come out for drain cleaning. They came out and mentioned that they would not be able to do the work because it had to do with drain cleaning. I had the coupon already printed out and said that it did not mention this in the fine print. He agreed that it was not listed in the fine print, but said "they usually do" and they wouldn't be able to honor the coupon for the drain cleaning I needed done. Accoridng to him it would be at minumum a $249 job. I requested a refund from Angie's List because I need the work done and don't have time to figure out who's fault it was not mentioning the drain cleaning in the fine print.

on Wednesday, the installer arrived on time, (company called to remind me day in advance, plumber called when on his way). He removed the old water heater and installed the new one. He discussed with me that i may want to consider having water pressure regulator in the future. Everything seems great, I'm happy. On Saturday evening around 5:00, I returned home after being away most of the afternoon and discovered the water heater had leaked all over the area it is contained in (closet next to furnace off of laundry room.) I called them immediately; left information with what is apparently an answering service/dispatch. Within about 15 minutes, the plumber on call called me, said he was finishing a job in Carmel and would come when he completed that, but would also have to go to the shop to get another water heater in case he needed to remove/replace the new one. He called again later to say approximately when he would arrive. He arrived about 2 hours after I first called, and inspected the heater to see what was going on. He determined that some pipe/valve on the top had not been tightened sufficiently by the installer, causing it to leak hot water and eventually soak the inside of the cover (I do not know all the technical terms.) Which was good in the sense the whole water heater did not need to be replaced. He was very thorough in correcting the problem, including approaching the back of the heater through a vent in the hallway to be extra sure he fixed the leaking. He was very very nice and polite, and explained everything he was doing. A week later, all seems fine. I realize it was human error on the installer's part, and my heater is in a tight space but am disappointed that the installer did not do it right the first time. Luckily, the water leakage was in a small area and dried soon, and caused no damage. I do not feel I can give an "A" due to the subsequent problem, but the prompt correction of it and the polite, efficient behavior of the 2nd plumber lead me to an overall "B."

It was an okay experience. While they were very professional and easy to work with, we have since learned that our sump pit should be vented out of the house because waste water from the washer, kitchen sink, and dishwasher flow into it. This has caused a sulfuric/sewage smell in our basement and into our whole house when the air or heat is on. They have since come back to address this issue by installing a trap under the utility sink and sealing the lid to the sump pit. Unfortunately, this has not solved the problem. We are hoping to contact Ryan this week to see if he can vent the sump pit.

They showed up on time and did exactly what we asked of them. There were no problems at all.

It went very well. I was able to apply a $350 Angie's List coupon to our total, which reduced our bill from $4,681.34 to 4,331.34. Customer service was great, especially when calling in to get the services coordinated. My wife met the owner at our condo, and she was impressed with his profesionalism and explanations of the problem and options. The owner called when the work was completed and said that he was very pleased with how everything turned out. He mentioned that the closet where the air handler is located was small, and although he tried not to bang up the walls in that closet, unfortunately they did cause some scratches and dings. I checked it out after they finished, and it was't too bad at all. It's just a closet for the air handler, nothing else. No big deal.

The motor on my heater has been making a lot of noise. I had PH Paramedics come look at my heater the week before. I ended up having a new furnace installed since the part I needed cost almost 1/3 of a new furnace. They came around 8 am in the morning to install my new energy effieicent furnace and were completed by 1 pm that day. They also cleaned up afterwards.

It was a great experience. The leaking faucet problem was easy to fix. The bathroom sink faucet was replaced quickly and cleanly. I was so satisfied with the service that I have them coming back for more work this week.

Responsive and professional. Left no mess. After 2 weeks, everything is working just fine. I have no hesitation in recommending this company and I intend to call them again the next time I need a plumber. (This was a $56 Big Deal for 1-hr. of service, plus $25 for the toilet parts.)

Very pleased with everything from the quoting process to the finished product. Ryan, Bryce, and crew have been great to work with and are very customer focused. We will be using them as well for some hvac and vent work soon.
