my water heater began leaking from the bottom. I called & they came the same day! They drained the old tank & put the new one in.. They had to cut off the water softener to get it out. They put in a much better connection to the gas. They replumbed the water softener. They removed the old water heater. I had hot water within an hour! I was very pleased with their service.

I emailed this company initially to get an estimate for interior drain pipe repair. They were very nice on the phone and in person. Unfortunately, this turned into an urgent major outside repair. They were able to come out quickly, discuss the situation and give the estimate. The job consists of excavation, repair, back fill and replacing the sidewalk. Their estimate was twice the estimate of 4 other companies - over $8000. My gut feeling was they really didn't want to do the job. Which is too bad because I have a major inside job to get done too this year. I won't be hiring them for the outside job. I think for inside work, they will be a good company to call and take a look at what you need done.

The experience was fine. I had more time than I had things for them to do because a leaking faucet wouldn't leak while they were there! They looked at it, but couldn't find anything wrong. It was still a good value for an hours worth of plumbing service though.

Would not work at all. Repairman worked on it and all of a sudden it was working again. He said probably salt caused problem.

This was a special deal on Angies List. PHP responded immediately after I accepted their deal and set up an appointment. Bart, the technician from PHP, was at my house on time (he called ahead and said he would be early). He first checked the sump pump and then tried to locate where the noise in the pipes was coming from. Of course the noise did not happen while he was there, but he did not give up, and spent time trying to find a solution. After replacing the fill valve in the toilet, it appears to have resolved the problem. He also placed a gauge on the water heater to check the pressure. PHP were professional and I would use them again.

Just a wonderful experience

The plumber came initially on 12/18/12 when I called about a faint sound of water running behind my bathroom sink; he determined the leak was in the slab and advised a company called Thermo Scan needed to come pinpoint where the leak is, before the plumber could work on it. They came on 12/19/12 (separate review) and identified the leak was in wall/slab behind bathroom vanity. I called PHP to advise the leak area was identified, and they had me scheduled for the very next day. Two plumbers from PHP came on 12/20/12, and worked on it for several hours. The "lead" plumber kept me advised of what they were doing throughout the day; luckily they were able to get to the leak from the garage side of the wall, & had to drill into the concrete and cut into the dry wall, but were able to avoid tearing out the vanity. They worked diligently for most of the day, and replaced the leaky pipe which had a tiny hole in it. No more leak! They patched the concrete they had to tear up. Then they installed a water pressure regulator, because he had discussed with me on a previous service call that I had extremely high water pressure, and also a thermal expansion tank to the water heater. He showed me how these worked, and how the new water shut off valve worked. They worked very hard from around 8 a.m. till about 4:00 p.m. I am very pleased with the results, they did a very good job in my opinion.

They were on time and gave us all detail up front. How much it would cost if they went over the hour. This was $23 for every 15 minutes over the hour. We told them to fix the toilet flange first then attend the sink if they had time in that hour. i wasn't at home but my girlfriend said she thinks he did the sink first. The tech then started on the toilet flange. My girlfriend asked the tech to place the toilet in the bathtub so it didnt scuff the new tile I had just put in the bathroom and he did the exact opposite. He placed it on a towel on the tile but it still scuffed the tile a bit. He then told my girlfriend that he had to run to Lowes to pick up a piece he didn't have on his truck and said that the time would be split 50/50 and we would only have to pay for half of the time. This frustrates me becuase I told them on the phone before they ever came to fix the toilet what needed to be replaced. I figured they would have been prepared for the fix. Overall it was a completed job and everything is fixed. I just wish the tech would have came prepared and done what my girlfriend had asked in placing the toilet in the tub.

We called for an estimate on a water softener and also to see if anything was wrong with our very loud water heater. In contrast to other firms giving quotes on the softener, the person heard the water heater, took a look, and figured out how we could get a pro-rated replacement because it was wearing out before the warranty expired. We also had a furnace malfunction that same week, and their furnace guy tried a less expensive fix, but when the blower did need replacing, they credited the less expensive part entirely against the full replacement. Very responsive and thorough.

Brian did a great job. I had him install a hose bib to repalce the one that was leaking, and he did it in less than 1 hour. He was profeesional and nice to talk with as well.

.All work was performed by one indiviidual from the plumbing company in a timely and professional manner.

Very pleased with the speedy service. We'll definitely use them again .

The water softener installation went very well. He explained its operation to me and I felt comfortable with everything when they left.

Plumber did an excellant job, found leak quickly, determined it could be accomplished in the amount of time covered by the Big Deal purchase and took the time under my crawl space to check on another issue I thought I might have.

They were tenacious in tracking the leak and fixing it. They were careful not to cut anymore drywall to access the leak than was absolutely necessary. After the leak was fixed they checked all of the plumbing fixtures. Great job.

Overall - Bryce the plummer did a good quality job installing my new faucets that I had previously, and they work well. The faucet that he "repaired" and replaced some parts ---still leaks, but the leak stops in about 15 seconds after use. Only concern that I have - were the extra charges over the Initial "big deal" coupon of $49.00 for one hour of labor. Extra charges for extra time and limited parts was $139.59. I expexcted to go over the 1 hour - but not to the degree and time that it took. I'm not sure if it should take - one hour per faucet to install. Plummer also took with him the original faucets -- not that I wanted to keep them - but he should have asked if I wanted them.The faucets were a quality product and in good shape -- as my wife was redecorating -- my guess is that the faucets were saleable in Ebay.

The plumbers arrived on time, completed the work efficiently and skillfully. I appreciated their friendliness and professionalism!

The problem was easy to fix. The plumber who showed up was punctual and pleasant. It turned out our drains were clogged, and we were able to fix it easily.
