Plumbing Heating Paramedics

I was obviously over charged. I had someone replaced the same capacitor for $135 a few years ago. It is just hard to find an honest service guy.

They were prompt and efficient. We had to call them back out and they came right out.

How'd it go? Not as I had anticipated. Provider called prior to arriving, set up to arrive early which was fine with me. Provider arrived and went to AC outside before letting me know he had arriived or introducing himself. Stated that the AC was not working but he would check it over, he thought it was the compressor or something else, I don't remember what. He came back and stated that no honest HVAC certified repair person would fix the AC because it was "shot" (my words) and the wiring was fried. The wiring would be about $300 (would probably burnt out again) and a new compressor would be $900 approximately. It would not be worth repairing. He shared that a new AC would be around $2500; he changed purchased coupon deal to a "diagnostic service call" vs the Tune Up deal purchased after I told him I would not be paying for a new AC this year. He shared that a diagnostic service call was normally $69 vs the $59 I paid for the 20-point tune up deal so he would just change it to that, I guess I appreciated that. When I asked if he was going to check the indoor coil or do any of the other services actually purchased he stated no because it was now a diagnostic service vs. a tune up. Although I know my AC is old, and I believe what the explanation was from the provider; my perception was that he was not too interested in providing the service purchased but more in trying to sale a new AC product or getting to where he was going next. He did not introduce himself. He was at my home for no longer than 20 minutes and was gone. I don't feel I can give an accurate review because I was put off by him going to the AC before talking with me plus I went out the back door to quiet my dogs barking at him and to see what he was doing after he came to the front door to let me know he was there; he was not at the AC outside, when I went back in the house he was standing inside the house by the door in my front room. I was surprised that he would let himself in without me inviting him in. Overall, not a good experience. Based on my customer service expectations I will not be utilizing Plumbing Heating Paramedics in the future.

They came out found the problem & gave an estimate The employees were very professional, arrived on time. They were very respectable when entering the house. I would have not known about them without their special. I will certainly use them again.

I explained to Bryce from PHP that two toilets had brief flushing sounds when not in use, as if the toilet wanted to flush. After his inspection of both toilets he explained that the fill valve needed to be replaced on one toilet and the red gasket or a new toilet was needed for the other toilet. I refused the second estimate for the red gasket due to the estimated $92.60 for the gasket replacement or the $499.18/3yr warranty or the $381.25/1yr warranty for a new toilet. Subsequently, the replacement of the fill valve on the mbb toilet and supply line has not worked, the toilet occasionally sounds as if it still wants to flush on its own. As a result of purchasing the "Big Deal" for $29 plus a $69 credit turns out It was not such a deal after all and cost me a total of $104.17 to replace a fill valve that I could have done on my own for less than $25.

We had purchased a big deal for the service. They did the work that we wanted them to do, they proposed some further work, that we did not choose to do, so we would be satisfied customers with that. We didn't think that their go forward plan made any sense at all, and that is why we chose not to go ahead with it. They were easy to work with, and there was no problem with scheduling. We have in the past made referrals, and sometimes some strong recommendations, but they provided the basic service, and nothing that would make us go out and say the were great. The pricing of the big deal was great but we don't know how much their normal price would be.

Perfectly. I needed to have the toilet in good working order but was hesitate to use it since it had not been used in such a long time. Great Angies List deal to have a service call for 29.00.

Everything about the experience was top-notch. The provider was extremely easy to work with from the very first interaction, through completion of the service. They showed up on time, very clean and very professional. The service was done in a very timely manner - the price was competitive and the quality (both of product and service) was very high. They exceeded my expectations on all fronts!

My experience overall went well. The advertising was a bit misleading, however. We thought they would be able to repair the furnace, but they would only inspect the furnace. We already knew what the problem was so they ended telling us what we already knew.

Brian came in and checked everything on the inside, took apart the outside, cleaned everything, and put it back together. He did a really great job and the price was a good deal. I'm even using them for other services. When he came out the 2nd time, he had everything ready to go for changing the exhaust pipe in my house. He did a beautiful job with that as well.

Two men came and looked and said they would get back with me. It's been weeks and I didn't hear from them. I took off work to meet them at my house for this. It cost me time and money for nothing! I finally called another plumbing company to do business with.

It turned out fine. Everything with them was fine.

I had no problems with them. We discussed the different types of faucets. I paid a little for a faucet upgrade.

Great!. Aaron was the technician and was a delight from the minute he stepped through the door. He offered me options and didn't try to upsell me. He fixed the problem in a very timely manner and demonstrated how things worked afterwards. I have hot water heat, which I haven't had to "fix" anything on; and, know little about (except that I love it). He educated me and let me know how PHP could help in the future; all without me feeling obligated. However, I will keep PHP in mind for future reference. And, I will highly recommend them to others.

We were experiencing A/C system freeze-ups, which can be indicative of several things (low flow, clogged condensation drain, dirty evaporator coil, dirty outside coil, low refrigerant, etc.). Service technician (Aaron) was outstanding. He arrived on time, was professional and friendly throughout, and reviewed several items with me in connection with my air conditioner. He provided good advice, reviewed steps I had taken to maintain the unit, and confirmed low refrigerant. He charged my system with refrigerant, and provided me with details on annual maintenance of A/C, furnace, and water heater. I agreed to the one-year maintenance plan so to have furnace service before winter, a review and service of my A/C system in the spring, and to have our water heater inspected and debris drained. Approximate cost of service includes Angie's List discount for service call, refrigerant, and one-year maintenance agreement. I very highly recommend Aaron and his company for A/C service.

It turned out that it needed to be replaced because of internal damage in the unit that was causing the leak. The plumber was great in all respects. He turned off the water to the old faucet since it was not repairable while we got a new one. He even returned when we had obtained a new and better faucet, this time from Delta, and installed it at no charge. We recommend them to our daughter when she needed plumbing work in her house and she was very pleased with his work too.

Very good service. The technician arrived promptly and was very professional and friendly. He servied the air conditioner and replaced the air filter. I would use them again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. We were very satisfied with it. We paid additional because the air conditioner was out. They were very good.

I called Plumbing Heating Paramedics after discovering a pool of water in my basement next to the water heater. I had used this company in the past and immediately thought of them and their distinctive "ambulance" service vehicle. They were able to schedule a visit that same morning. When the paramedics arrived, they checked the "patient", but he was old and could not be saved. :-( A new water heater was installed that afternoon. The work was efficient, neat, and professional. The gentlemen doing the work were very polite and especially kind to my pesky, curious dog. I was also impressed to receive a hand-written thank-you note from the company with a discount coupon for future services. I was very pleased by not only the technical knowledge and ability of the workers but also their customer service. They will be my go-to choice for any plumbing or heating needs I have in the future!

They are very pleasant and always answer our questions about when to change builders and whatnot. They are neat and always clean up after themselves. The quote that they gave us for the original furnace and AC was much lower than another provider, but we feel the quality was top notch.

We purchased a big deal for the service and it was okay. I opted not to go with them for the services that they said that I needed, because I felt that the estimate was way too high, and I was able to get another plumber who did the work and he did it well. It was the first time that we used the provider. I think, what the increased the price, was that they wanted to sell me a yearly air conditioner and furnace cleaning and maintenance, and so there were 2 prices, and so if I bought their package, the price would be lesser, but even with the package, the price was too high.
