Plumbing Heating Paramedics

This is the 2nd time we used this company. Same Tech came out on this job. He cleaned and inspected the unit. Replaced filters. We walked through a couple of possible issues to address in the future. Tech was on time and courteous as before. Very helpful. Didn't mind spending time walking through needs/concerns. We will definitely use these guys for future needs...

Arrived as scheduled. Replaced faucet with like kind which was an upgrade from what is normally install. He secured the faucet to the outside wall which was an improvement as the original faucet was not secured. Friendly and professional serviceman.

Don't remember the Tech's name, but he was on time, very courteous and walked my wife through what he was doing. He also spent time on the phone with me since I was at work. Job was quick and efficient. He resolved the issue. Couldn't be happier.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal. I ordered a deal for my home and a second house I own. Brian was the technician who came and he took his time to check everything indoors and outdoors. He was pleasant and professional and gave me advice on how to take good care of my air conditioner unit. I am planning to purchase a home service agreement from the company so that my air conditioning and heating needs will be taken care of by Plumbing Heating Paramedics.

Hard to determine what they could do it 2 hours but they worked on two problems and fixed them. They have a maintenance plan which I am considering which includes plumbing and heating.

With the initial water heater flush everything went well. They arrived promptly and got right to work. They then discussed a few extra issues with me and explained exactly what I would need to buy in order to fix the issue myself. They also answered some questions about water softeners and tankless water heaters. On the second visit they began an inspection of the AC unit and discovered the problem, and when we declined to have them fix it for a hefty rate, the technician packed up his bags and left quickly. Seemed less helpful then the first visit. I personally was not there for that encounter so I cannot say if it was the same technician.

It didn't go well. As soon as the technician got here he asked me if I wanted the cheaper faucet or did I want to pay $40 more for a better, USA made faucet. He said he had been back to a couple other houses to fix these cheaper faucets after installation. I told him to install the one I paid for in the deal. He appeared annoyed and went out to his truck and began the work. When it appeared to me he was finished working on the faucet, I walked around the house and noticed the door to the crawl space was not put in place correctly. I asked him if he would put it back because I had broken ribs and was not able to get down in the access area to do it. Again, he was annoyed and told me it didn't fit. That was because he had dragged rocks into the track and the door didn't slide down into place. The door was closed properly before he opened it. There is a lot of wildlife around here, and I couldn't leave that door open. Because his attitude was horrible since he arrived, I told him I did not want to do the Whole House Plumbing Inspection that was a part of the deal. He had me sign his paperwork and as he was leaving and walking away from me he said "you got the more expensive faucet; I didn't have the other one in the truck". All in all, it was a horrible experience. I received a follow up call from the company, so I'm assuming others had the same experience. I was told the situation had been taken care of.

The plumber arrived on time, analyzed the problem and had to special order a replacement. They did not stock the type of spigot we required. They returned a week later and corrected our leaky spigot.

They did a fantastic job. The service technician was extremely friendly and helpful...one of the nicest service providers to ever come to our home. I called the company afterwards to let them know how happy I was and that I will be using them in the future.

It went very well - prompt, quick, thorough.

The service person contacted me to make sure it was ok to the the work since my tenants initially contacted him. I appreciated the security concern. I sen the vouchers to my tenants who then scheduled a good time and the service was performed as expected. I later received a written report in regular mail. That will help me decide on whether to repair or replace the HVAC unit.

With a $32 Angie's List coupon plus $129, they replaced an outside faucet, which, if you read some of their other reviews, was way too much - my fault - I should have read more of their reviews before hiring them - they did a decent job, but nothing exceptional Some of their other recent reviews show outside faucet replacement prices of $100 and $111. They had no problems replacing my faucet - they gave me the price on the phone with no mention of a lower price if it went smoothly It really irks me that companies (especially plumbing) don't have standard pricing for jobs that don't have any out-of-the-ordinary issues. Companies that look for every opportunity to "get as much as they can" from a customer shouldn't even be on Angie's List - they have a lot of good reviews - I find that suspect considering the price-gouging I experienced

Our kitchen sink had to be snaked. We chose the paramedics because of the Angie's List deal. The plumbers were very responsive, quick, and professional. However, there was some miscommunication in the price of the service. Since no one was able to be home before 5 pm, we had to schedule an after hours visit. We had purchased the deal, which apparently is not good for after hours visits. It is also unfortunate that after hours begins at 5 pm, a time when anyone with a normal job would not be able to make it home in time. This was not communicated well by their operator. It was nice that although our deal did not work due to small print and a miscommunication, the plumbers were able to work with us on the price some to make this "emergent" visit more affordable. Would use them again.

They told us we had a lot of rust in the water heater, and tat we needed to replace it soon. After work was done, there was a leak that wasn't there before. They came back out and replaced a part on the water heater. We ended up paying for the 2nd service. Following the 2nd service we had no hot water at all. We had someone else come out and check it for us. The on/off valve on the unit was not working, until the second plumber came out and replaced it.

I wasn't charged anything extra. I would give them an A overall.

They came out and the service was good. They seemed fine and they did what they were contracted to do and seem to do a good job.

Very professional and punctual. Randy did and excellent job leveling the toilet on the new tile floor and replacing the old, corroded plumbing valves.

Great! We need them back to do the other one!

All went well until I got the bill . I think $362 for $30 worth of parts and 2 hours labor was way too much. Not sure what a plumber charges an hour but it appears these guys charge about $150 an hour.

AC was not cooling efficiently. There was no perceived improvement after service. They did not replace filters nor did they clean the coils. They sold us more coolant than was necessary (in case there was a leak somewhere)

Not sure about detail. They worked quickly. Six weeks later everything still works well.

They were very professional, price was reasonable. Would definitely use them again.

An appointment was set up and the technician (Brian) arrived on time (even called when he was on his way). After showing him where the A/C unit and thermostat were located he started his work. He was finished in about an hour and gave me a detailed report on the health of the major components of my A/C. Brian was courteous and went about his work in a professional manner. I was completely satisfied with the service that I received.
