Plumbing Heating Paramedics

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out okay, with a few glitches. They removed the toilet, and they thought it would be a simple repair, and as they began the repairs, they discovered that they did not have the material needed. They then went to the hardware store, and they were gone for more than an hour, and I was just there waiting for them to come back. They came back but they still weren't able to complete the job, and they weren't able to come back for a few days. They did a good job communicating what they were doing, and what was going on. I liked that part of it, and I do feel confident in the fix that they were finally able to do. When I asked them why they had taken so long, they said they had gone to a hardware store that was far, and I told them that they could have asked me and I would have saved us by telling them about a store close by. I was disappointed that they didn't have the equipment required on their truck.

The provider made an emergency call to our home at 9:00 p.m. on a Tuesday. We had a continuous water leak from our hot water heater that we couldn't stop. As soon as Bryce arrived he stopped the leak and assessed that we needed a new water heater. He then travelled back to his shop and returned with a new water heater. The process was seamless and he worked tirelessly to remove and then install a water heater. I would estimate that he was here nearly three hours. A very professional and friendly encounter. I highly recommend this company.

It was a great experience. Aaron called 30 minutes before he was going to show up which allowed me go to work instead of waiting around all morning for my appointment. He was prompt and professional when completing the A/C checkup without pressuring me to purchase an all new system. I appreciate his tips and thoroughness.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for an A/C Tune-up and Filter. Plumbing Heating Paramedics actually got in contact with me after I purchased the deal. I made an appointment right after I purchased for the next week. They were on-time and very friendly. The technician didn't try to push me into purchasing a bunch of additional items which I have had happen with some other companies in the past. I even asked if they had a yearly service which included both the furnace and the A/C tune-up, the technician said they did but wasn't pushy and just trying to make a sale. The price of the yearly service plan seemed reasonable. I plan to purchase the yearly service plan in the Fall when I need a furnace tune-up.

I purchased the big deal coupon for this service and it turned out very well. The people that they have working for them are very good because I dealt with two different people. Plumbers are never cheap though.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out perfectly. They came out within a week. I didn't have anything bad to say and I would refer them. I really didn't shop around. I would absolutely use them again. They didn't do any work this time; it was just the full house inspection.

It was a $300 job but we had a coupon for $100 off from a big deal that I had purchased. I did not price shop so I don't know what the price would be. They were prompt and courteous.

We purchased an AC Inspection knowing that we would probably need to replace the AC. Overall great interaction. They were on time, provided the service requested, flexible in their scheduling and polite to deal with. We chose not to have them perform the AC replacement due to cost.

I did not use them and asked Angie's list for my money back, which they refunded. No work was done and I called a different plumber who did not charge a service call and charged much less.

The appointment was for approximately 11:00 AM on a day the weather forecasters were predicting a bad ice storm early afternoon. The serviceman called about 9:00AM and asked if he could show up at 10:00 instead, I agreed. He showed up at 9:20, unannounced. When he came in, he did not have any tools, and said he didn't have a wrench. Therefore, he only guessed at the cause of the leak. Less than 15 minutes. I was told of a simple fix I could do myself, and if it did not fix the leak, he owed me 45 minutes and would bring the correct tools and would try to fix it. The suggestion did not fix the leak. To be fair, he said I needed to call within 30 days to get the remainder of the 45 minutes of service. I never called back and requested the service call be completed. Therefore I never entered a review here. I'm entering a negative review now because of the original scheduling trouble the service man had, and he did not come prepared for a simple job.

As indicated above, the technician exceeded our expectations in terms of helping us address the acute problem we were having with our A/C in a creative and least expensive way and also thoughtfully advising us on options for future repair or replacement. We felt smarter and well-advised at the end of the service call and greatly appreciated the technician's approach and seeming partnership in solving our immediate and potential A/C problems.

Not willing to schedule an appointment for a quote any later that 5:00 (offered a window of 3:00 - 5:00). No flexibility at all, take it or leave it attitude.

The pilot light of my water heater had gone out and would not re-light. I knew that gas wasn't getting to the heater but didn't know why. I bought an Angie's List Big Deal to have a plumber come out to check the lines. Within a few minutes the gentleman from Plumbing Heating Paramedics had confirmed that no gas was coming into the house, let alone to the water heater. He also went outside and checked the gas meter. He was prompt, friendly and matter-of-fact. He helped me discover a huge issue with my gas supply from Citizens Gas Company, who I then dealt with separately. I was grateful that he confirmed there was nothing wrong with my water heater.

he rThe guys from Plumbing and Heating paramedics showed up on time and were very professional in preforming the plumbing inspection. They found that we had a toilet that needed some repairs and very high water pressure. This explained some pipes that randomly leaked. They explained both issues that they found. We scheduled them back to add a valve to regulate the water pressure coming into the house. We did have to call a couple of times to get a price estimate for this repair. The actual instillation went well, there were issues with old pipe causing the valve to clog. Randy responded quickly and cleared the clog. Plumbing and Heating Paramedics did a great job and we will likely have them back to do some heating repairs.

I wanted all the pipes changed from house to line underground for built-in gas grill. He had to get correct length pipes, so had to comeback today. Before he left, he told me about a $50 coupon on line at Angie's List. Today, he was running a little late, so the office called to inform me of that fact. He called a little while later to say he was on his way. He still arrived in the original window . He performed the work in a timely manner and no more gas smell. Bryce was very professional and I could not be more pleased with every aspect of his visit here. He also informed me that we were entitled to a free house inspection of our pluming. In my calls to the office, I could not have been more pleased either. Such professionalism from every aspect of Pluming Heating Paramedics is such a welcomed breath of fresh air. Any pluming needs we have in the future, we will definitely be calling this wonderful company and will definitely give a high recommendation to anyone who asks me if I know a good pluming company.

Technician showed up right on time, even called ten minutes before to state he was on his way. provided accurate and easy to understand feedback to my questions. Explained what he was checking and why.

Went well. They were punctual & did what was asked. Did not try to upsell me.

He came out and he didn’t have a part that he needed. He went to get the part, but on the way back, there was construction on the road and it took him a while to get back. Because of that, I ended up paying more than I would have without a Big Deal.

That went fine. There were no additional charges. They were very polite and punctual. They did a good job. I would use them in the future.

I wound up going with this company after a few other companies either did not answer the phone or could not get to the job for weeks. I saw the big deal coupon in an email from Angie's list and decided to give it a try. They answered the phone quickly and got me scheduled quickly. The day of service the plumbers called me and were pretty exact on time they called and time of arrival. They went to work quickly and even told me that the person who did the plumbing initially did it wrong. (Which I think is an industry standard in any trade. I have always had cable tech's, electricians, dry wallers, painters, etc., all say the last guy that did the job did it wrong and they will fix it right.) Anyway they got it done in about 30 minutes. The part I was a little miffed about was I still wound up paying $241 and that included my discount from Angie's list. Now were two guys so after 30 min of work $241/hour is pretty good pay. Even when you through in the travel time, each guy is looking at $120/hour. Now I know there is overhead, expenses, blah blah. But really, heck with medical school and law school and huge student loan debit, be a plumber, son! That is my only point of contention. A little pricey, I thought. Oh and I guess I was a little annoyed that they tried to sell me a protection service plan. Most of the time those don't seem to pay off. They find a way to find a repair that is not covered so they can a least get SOME money out of you. But I can't see that is the deal with their protection plan. I'm not sure if I would use this company again. I may try to find a cheaper company.

Overall the process was great. Our serviceman was prompt, pleasant and left us with a beautiful working outdoor faucet. The only problem was that months later when our dishwasher went out, we had trouble with the connections in the area of this hose on the internal side when installing the new dishwasher. This was easily remedied and both the dishwasher and outdoor faucet continue to work wonderfully.

The gentleman who came to work on the air conditioning was very polite, efficient. He checked everything very well and our air conditioner at church works fine now. The air conditioner in the church is very old, but he only had to replace one part. The service representative suggested a maintenance package for the church and said it would cost less than repeated service calls so we were happy to do that. Their overall price was very reasonable and they came out very quick. As a result of this experience, I have purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this company to now work on my own home.
