Plumbing Heating Paramedics

Brian originally came in a couple weeks prior to perform a routine inspection and maintenance of our furnace and notified us that we had cracks in the heat exchanger. He was very courteous with my wife and didn't try to take advantage of her knowledge. He suggested we not use the furnace and recommended purchasing a new one due to safety concerns. Brian was very responsive with all my questions and came back on another occasion to discuss our options. He even texted back and forth with me to address any concerns. We had multiple other quotes and confirmation of cracks, but in the end, decided to use Plumbing Heating Paramedics for a new furnace. They were able to squeeze us in with a few days notice, which was great because the temperatures fell a lot the night of the install and the house had been sitting cold for a week. The installers were very professional, did a great job with the install and cleaned up after. The owner Ryan even came by to look at things and did some coordination of the new PVC piping with me before installation. The whole experience with Plumbing Heating Paramedics has been outstanding.

Great-they had to cut through my drywall to replace with a spigot that would not freeze and leak again. They were very careful and did a good job. Wish the original builder had done it in the first place.

Purchased Angie's List Big Deal for furnace tune-up before winter. My aging furnace will now get a little extra mileage!

Had a Big Deal with them earlier and was very happy. This time, when they came out, the work we needed them to do did not fit with the time they had reserved for us, so no work was done. Instead, they gave us estimates for he cost of each repair we were interested in. Their estimates were much higher than we thought seem justified. The earlier Big Deal, which we were quite pleased with, was for a certain number of man hours; they did quite a bit in within that time span. This big deal was for $200 worth of Plumbing Services. We were disappointed when we found how little work they consider being worth $200.

He was great. He was able to get it done in the time frame we needed.

They were on time and very nice. They gave me an honest assessment of what was going on. Unfortunately, it did not workout because my system is dead. They did not charge me. I would use them again.

They did a great job. They did try to upsell another faucet to me saying it was better. The deal I purchased said that I was paying less for their standard hose faucet replacement, however, the faucet that they were trying to up sell was their standard faucet and the one being used for the deal was a cheaper item.

Everything worked out fine. I had them cleaned my A/C unit and add Freon while they were out. Getting the appointment set up was easy and he showed up on time.

I had wanted to have my kitchen faucet and sprayer replaced. I also wanted a no-longer used water filtration tap plugged, I was unable to be there when the work was done, so I left the package with the faucet by the sink, with the package containing the plug right on top of it. When I arrived home from work late that evening I saw that the water filtration tap hadn't been removed and plugged. The next day I attempted to remove the tap and water began leaking underneath my sink. Everyone at Plumbing and Heating Paramedics was very nice, and a plumber walked me over stopping the water over the phone. I take full responsibility for attempting to alter the water filtration tap, but if the work had been completed I would not have needed to try to do it myself. Upon learning that they had forgotten to plug the 4 hole I would expect a business to come back and complete the work, especially since I now am unable to use the cold water in my kitchen sink.

Bought as big deal but requested refund instead. Company is very small with only 2 technicians. 2week wait for appointment. I didn't want to risk having them cancel out on me later when someone called in sick or another client emergency came up like they did before.

Work went very well by Bryce. He was very professional and efficient. Can never say enough good about Plumbing Heating Paramedics.

It went fine. Brian called about 1/2-hour before he arrived to let me know he was on the way. He arrived at the early time of the promised time window. He completely checked out my furnace and cleaned sections he could reach.

There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. We had to buy the kitchen faucet separately.

It was fine. What stood out to me was that the technician was thorough in checking everything. I can’t really say if it was a fair pricing because it was a deal. We asked him a question to try to explain something and suggest how something could be improved in our air conditioning system and my husband didn’t feel like it was a satisfactory answer.

They were totally professional and polite. They answered all of my questions, and even some that did not directly pertain to the new system.

The plumber called 15 minutes before he arrived at my house, just like Plumbing Heating Paramedics said he would. He arrived right on time, which is very appreciated. He wore shoe covers in the house, and was very professional and polite. His work quality was very high. He also made sure to keep the area clean when performing the work. He also helped as I ensured the humidifier worked as it should. The cost was a little higher than I expected, but given the level of service, I figured it was was worth it. They do have silly looking trucks, as they are painted to look like ambulances. That doesn't impact how the service went. Just something funny. I guess I will remember them, so I guess it worked.

Paid about $550 to repair/rebuild the section of the furnace where the electrostatic filter goes. We also bought a $140/year service contract for them to come out twice a year.

Randy was prompt and thorough. He checked the plumbing throughout the house. He repaired one of the non working toilets. He also flushed out the water heater and inspected all faucets and drains. He gave a written summary of what work needed to be done and made helpful suggestions. He did his job well and I have no complaints.

We had a connection on a pipe in our basement break which allowed water in the basement. I had originally called another plumber but after waiting nearly two hours for a call back from a tech (and calling at least two times to get an update) i called Plumbing Heating Paramedics. Within 4 mins of calling their after hours service i received a call from Bryce. Bryce was able to come out to our home within a hour and fix not only the primary issue but also was able to fix a few minor issues as well. He was prompt, professional and would recommend them in the future.

He checked a few things; he told me some of the things he found as we were going along. As we were going over the inspection he didn’t have everything written down, I don’t feel like I got the full value of the deal because it wasn’t all written down. He put a large sticker from his company on my water heater, but didn’t do any actual work to it. He was supposed to flush my water heater, but I’m not sure if that was done. He changed an aerator and cleaned a bathtub drain. He was there when he said he would be and was thorough.

Overall we were pleased with the service. The only drawback was it was more expensive than expected even after purchase an angie's list deal with a free service call and repair credit - for a faucet repair and water burner assembly replacement it was over $300.00.

It went well. I had the feeling a bit of a furnace check was also included in the check-up. I had to drag the hose out of its winter storage because this technician insisted that no a/c tuning was done properly without hosing down all the vents. This was a procedure never before used on my a/c unit. It is always disconcerting to hear from a worker that every other worker who has ever worked on one's property has been an incompetent idiot. (This is not the first time I have encountered this behavior.) It only gives the owner a bad feeling, since the past work (of decades!) cannot be redone. He helped put the hose back in its storage sack, but, because of being in a hurry, I am not sure it was as well drained as when my husband and I originally packed it away. I asked for an estimate for some other plumbing work on the house and that appeared promptly. Recently I was in the cellar doing some other work after being out of the house for 6 weeks and I discovered some kind of temperature sensor sticking out of an air vent and wonder if it had been left behind on Sept. 4th.
