BRENDA'S ACCOUNTING & TAX SVC

One of the rudest places and
people I have ever encountered. I came in today with an assistance check
from a church, I was told by the church that the check would cover this
businesses "service fee" of $1.25. When I came in I was told this was
not the case, I mentioned that I would have to leave as we have no cash
what so ever at the moment. As I left the women helping me (large, short
woman resembling an unintelligent St Bernard) cracked a joke about
"poor people" and made fun of the fact that I was receiving help. I came
back a short time later after digging for pennies and nickels in my
car, when I went to hard her the change she gave me the most disgusted
look and slammed the change down on the counter, not even counting it.
Now, I can understand someone being upset about people abusing the
system but this woman was not being taken advantage of, she works at a
high paying job, she probably has health insurance, I doubt she wants
for anything. What she failed to realize is that I was in there with an
assistance check because my 4 year old son is in Indianapolis childrens
hospital battling a leukemia diagnosis. What she failed to realize is I
have lost my job from taking time off to be with him. What she failed to
realize is that my husband has had to cut hours at work so that I can
have the car in Indianpolis to see my son. What she failed to realize is
that our electricity has already been shut off and I was using that
assistance check to make sure my husband has heat and hot water despite
living in the dark. The bitter part of me hopes this woman gets karma
turned right back on her, I want to say I hope she falls and breaks her
arm, or loses her job, falls upon hard times and gets to experience
people laughing at her trying her hardest to keep her family from
disingrating in front of her eyes. But Im trying to be better than that,
so instead I hope like h*** she sees this and feels like a horrible
awful person for judging a situation she has ZERO information on. I hope
she swallows her entitlement and gets a new attitude. And most of all, I
hope she never has to experience a child being deathly ill before his
5th birthday, because that is where I am at and I would NEVER wish it on
anyone.
