Once we got a date scheduled, he showed on on time and did an excellent job. Good installation, answered my questions and made me feel like I made a good choice. Radon mitigation system works very well.

Fast-forward to 2015, when I put my condo on the market. The buyer's inspector noted that EPA standards, in place since 1994, require the fan to be outside the living space. Williams had installed the fan in the basement. When I called Williams for clarification, he came out to look at the unit, he claimed because it was a "depressurization" rather than a "suction" system, the fan could remain inside. But when I actually sent him the EPA guidelines specifying that even depressurization systems have outside fans, he got defensive and stopped responding. So I called out Pure Air to inspect the unit, which found that instead of blowing air out, the fan was set to blow air IN. Further instead of the industry standard of PVC pipe leading from the fan along the basement ceiling, Williams used plain old accordion tubing held together with duct tape. And one end of that tubing that appeared to go through the crawl space deadended at a floor joist. Do not use this provider if you care about your safety, and if you've already had work done by them, I suggest you have someone else come out to check their work. I'm reporting this company to the EPA!

The installer arrived on the date and time as promised. He surveyed the situation and immediately went to work. He worked quickly and efficiently. The install time took little over 2 hours. He gave me a test kit to test the radon level once our home renovations were complete. I sent the test kit in and level came back barely over the acceptable level. I contacted the owner, Wally Williams, who promptly brought a monitoring system that he left for four days. The system gave hourly readings. At the the conclusion of the test, the levels were well below the necessary levels. We were very pleased with the work and the price. Another company I contacted wanted $500 more to do the same job.

My wife and I recently purchased a new home that already had a radon mitigation system in it, installed by this company. Since I had no clue if it worked or what it did, I called the company on Thanksgiving and left a message asking if they could come by and check it out.
The company called back on Monday morning, scheduled to come by on Tuesday, showed up right on time, showed us how to use it, and didn't charge a dime.
Very professional and responsive.

Our radon system had been making a lot of noise over the weekend. We called and left WEC a message. I followed up on Monday morning by calling again. Wally referenced my message and was able to pull up all my system information while we were on the phone, he was able to tell me that the fan would probably need to be replaced and said he could be out that afternoon to fix it. We couldn't get back to the house to leave him a check so he said it was fine for us to mail it. Overall, I was really impressed with how quickly we were able to get this handled for what seemed like a pretty fair price. My only complaint would be that when we asked about how we could prevent the fan from needing to be replaced prematurely in the future, he did not really have an answer for us. Other than that, WEC was fast, professional and affordable.

Prompt installation, exhibiting the selection of an ideal location, plus very good workmanship and detail in installing and fitting of the actual equipment.

While they can be hard to get hold of, once you connect with them things go well. Owner and son apparently do the work. Son had a problem with his truck so initial appointment was missed and there was some miscommunication regarding appointment time. Once we were able to connect, work went well. Worked quickly and efficiently and addressed any concerns that I had. Did promise to return with some of the fluid that is used to ensure the fan is working, but that didn't happen. Not a deal breaker, but annoying.

We called on a Friday and within a week we had the services performed. He showed up right on time and worked with the builder to discuss changes in the construction of ######'s homes. HE was clean, friendly, prompt and finished exactly at his quote. A definite win!

I called Mr. Williams and he came out the same day to look at my house. We discussed the price and how the plumbing would run in my home. We set a date. He arrived and was done in about 5 hours. He also provides a 5 yr. guarantee. For peace of mind he also gave me a new radon detection kit so I can check to make sure the unit is working. I am very satisfied and would use him again.

Williams never showed up for an appointment that took numerous phone calls over 2 weeks to get. Failed to return a call after this date to at least 4 more calls from me that went to voice mail.

Mike of Williams Environmental Control, Inc. inspected our Radon system after I called because the fan seemed to be working harder after our crawl space vapor barrier was replaced a few weeks ago. He went into our crawl space and adjusted a strap so the pipe was in a better position to do its job. He didn't charge anything for this service.

Mr. Williams was on time. We discussed many options for placement of system to minimize any negative impact on the appearance of the house. We agreed on a location that was "ideal" to meet this objective. Mr. Williams installed system in a timely manner. He provided a test kit for evaluation of radon level after a short waiting period. Overall, a great experience. Would not hesitate to call this company with questions or concerns in the future.

Very prompt service. He called me back within about 15 minutes of leaving a message, and set up an appointment the next time. He was very punctual, and he diagnoised and fixed the problem very quickly. Several of the other contractors I looked at wanted to charge a fee of $150 or more, just to inspect the system. Mr. Williams did not ask for such a fee. Nobody likes to pay for these radon mitigation systems, but this company offers good service at a price that is lower than the competition.

I was especially impressed when I needed a copy of the receipt and warranty for the people who recently bought our house and Mr. Williams was able to email it to me before the end of the work day. For work that was done 2 years prior! That is great service. Thank you.

As a residential real estate broker, I have referred all clients to Wally Williams for over 30 years without hearing a single "discouraging" word of feedback. There may be others who as good, but I sincerely doubt that there are any who are better.

They provided me a quote over the phone and it was within a penny of the actual bill. They arrived on time and installed the system as described. On time, on budget, and professional. What more do you want?

He did the job every well. Very professional and knowledgeable. He seemed to be very wise about radon testing and litigation. It's a tricky process which I thought he handled very well.

Very professional and timely. Were in and out quickly. They had to drill through the exterior brick for the PVC pipe and electrical connection and both looked very professional. They accommodated our request to put the pipe in a specific location.
