Description of Work: Staff of two trimmed large broken branch overhanging children's play area. Arrived on time, were courteous, and did an above-and-beyond job. One concern: I had explained the very large size of the branch and the fact that it was suspended at least 12 feet in the air. Yet they didn't seem to have adequate equipment to do the job. They ended up on a ladder, leaned against the tree. Using a chain saw with this little protection for the workers seemed dangerous to me. Would definitely use this company again because of the quality of their employees but would hope that they would provide adequate equipment to protect the safety of their employees, e.g., a truck with a bucket.

Description of Work: Called to have gutters cleaned - they were booked solid due to heavy rains forecast. But they told me they would try to add extra crews for the next day and they did. Cleaned my gutters on the day I had requested. Very pleased with their service.

Description of Work: Gutters were cleaned, but ripped off the downspout in the process. Easy fix, but uncessary. We were told that Angie's List customer's were on an "anytime" list for service. This means the company can come to do the job, anytime. No schedule could be provided. When we balked at the response and with prompting we were scheduled the following week.

Description of Work: Just tried to get an estimate for repairing my fence. The few times I was actually able to talk to someone, they kept asking me if I wanted my non-existent deck sealed. E-mails and voice mails continually go without response. Excuse I hear is that so many deals were sold they can't keep up, but not sure I buy it.

Description of Work: They trimmed 2 willow trees that I thought were dying. Did an excellent job and they informed me they weren't dying and they look great.

Description of Work: Have been trying for several weeks to get someone out to give an estimate - have called & left messages, sent emails - they said they would come out & email estimate, but still waiting - not too impressed so far.

Description of Work: I purchased this service on July 28th along with a deck renovation from this company and was told that the earliest they could come was Sept 4th. SInce both services were for a total of 8 hours labor I took the day off work to be there. They called the Friday before this service to assure I still wanted the service, and promised to be there Monday morning. I called several times on Monday and no show. Then at 3pm they said they would need to reschedule as they had 3 other jobs ahead of me and could come out in 3 days. I requested someone come to walk the job with me as I could not take off work again. I had to demand that this happen to get them their. They sent 2 men to trim the trees. They took down 6 small trees at the woods line, leaving stumps approximately a foot tall and trimmed limbs of several trees. They told me that a truck would have to come in the morning to pick up the trees and debri that was all over my yard. They did not come. When I called I was told it would be 2 more days for pick up of the trees. Again, I had to demand this be done the next day and had to make several calls to make that happen. They did not pick up all at the woods line. This company is not qualified to trim trees or remove them. They are novice and have poor business customer service.

Description of Work: Three trees were removed. I had hoped to have a fourth removed, but they didn't have the equipment needed to take it down. They were limited to dropping the tree or parts of the tree. This one could not be dropped. The two men doing the work, Yuri and Andy, were knowledgeable and did a good job. They took down three dead trees and cleaned up the limbs. The scheduling of the appointment with the office staff was not as efficient as it should have been.

Description of Work: The company has not provided the services yet, in spite of my multiple requests to have broken tree limbs removed from my roof, front lawn, and neighbor's driveway. This company is not at all responsive. My experience with them was terrible. I had to use another company to take care of this job. I requested a refund from Wellman Exteriors but have not gotten it yet. I will not recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: They cancelled and/or postponed after delaying several times the same day. After the second time of being delayed and then cancelled I decided not to use this company

Description of Work: Purschaed 4 hours of yard work. Had to wait 2 weeks, not problem on the 3rd week I called to see when I might be on the schedule. They coundn't find me so they said it would be another week, when I expressed concern on waiting the extra week they "found" me on the schedule for the following Friday. On Friday I called to see when they might arrive, was given the phone number of the "lead" on the job and tols to call him, which I did, voice mail, left message but did not hear back. In the mean time I have my daughter waiting at the house in casr of any issues or problems. Finally hear from the guy around 4:30 and they are not going to make it. He calls back, now he is going to get over to the house because the schedule is too full the next week to wait. They arrive as my daughter is leaving. He decides he cannot do the job, trees too high, although I told them the height on the trees when I booked the job. He does manage to get a shrub removed and cleaned up what he could reach. $199.00 was a great price for 4 hours of work and with two guys I would assume it would be 2 hours of work for the same amount but no way did that take two hours. Will not use again and think somehow a conversation should take place that allows the Angie's list member to cancel after purchase and talking to the contractor. I work in the service business and no way would I treat a customer this way. No follow up, no way of finding my order, total disregard for time and money.

Description of Work: I paid an additional $570 for 2 extra hours of work and the stain used to stain my fence. The 2 man crew were considerate and worked hard when here. They were not able to do the job in one day because they didn't get to our place until 3:00 on the first day due to extra time spent at another job. they did a fairly good job and at a good rate of speed considering the hot conditions - but I did have to go back and touch up some areas on my own. I would have preferred to have had this done in one day as they had indicated they could do - but they were generally a fair bunch of folks to deal with. I would probaby call them again for exterior work.

Description of Work: They did a great job trimming the larger tree away from my and my neighbor's house. Their price was pretty high and I suspect it was because I had purchased a pre-paid coupon deal and so they knew they had my business regardless. Overall a good experience.

Description of Work: I emailed the company and we scheduled a gutter cleaning for our new house. The house has very tall gutters, so we were unaware that there were already gutter guards in place. Wellman Exteriors came out and was here for no more than 10-15 minutes because once they figured out we had gutter guards, it was a very easy job. Nevertheless, they still charged me the full amount. Maybe that's fair since we scheduled a gutter cleaning and agreed on a price beforehand, but it seemed like a bit of a ripoff. Overall, though, I was pleased with their responsiveness and punctuality, so other than the price I have no complaints.

Description of Work: Hired using Angie lis "big deal" special. had a small tree removed and another tree shaped up. Delayed work one week from stated start date. other than that Chris and his crew did a good job and made sure I was satisfied with their work. Overall very happy with quality & price
