It was a special purchase (Big Deal) so it took several weeks to book. The final job looked good but they left a bit of trash behind. The person I had direct communication with was pleasant and professional.

They were very good. They worked hard to follow up on my purchase and schedule the work. They were very careful to make sure my expectations matched what they could do.

That went great. I chose them because of the good deal they offered and the fact that I'd used them before and had a good experience. They came while I was away. They emailed me and told me when they would be by, and I wasn't home at that time but they came and did the work and left everything nice and clean when they were finished.

It went fine. There were two guys that came out. They cleaned up after themselves and it only took them a half an hour to do. We're now moving, but if we were staying we would use them again.

They did a good job. I paid an extra $50 on the $99 to replace some of the gutter screens for us.

Promised a three man team. only two showed up. I explained there are cables among the vines and to be careful. They cut the cables anyway and didn't inform me so I could get company out to repair it. I had to find out I had no service and then call in repair. Later water company found the meter cable was cut so the reading was off and that had to be repaired as well. The task itself they did a good job of clearing the ivy and cleaning up after themselves. Though I was in no rush, it took longer than was specked out in the order because they didn't provide the personnel promised. For this I give them a C for not following their own estimate and order. The two guys worked very hard and but it might not have turned into a disaster if there had been three and they were not rushed, thus not cut the cables. They could have been more focused on the task and patient and cleared the ivy with no other damage.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was good. There really wasn't enough time for them to do everything we wanted. With our permission they trimmed one of our trees and had to leave the branches at the base of the tree, rather than taking them away. I thought since it was a small thing, they would have thrown that in. Other than that, it was good. We would probably not use them again unless they had a special deal.

Tree was removed well. I didn't have any issues with the service. I'm not sure of the date of the service but it was sometime the spring of 2013. I cannot find the amount I paid them. I only remember the price was reasonable. They were done in very good time and cleaned the yard up well after leaving. Overall, I was happy with the company.

They did a good job. I would use these guys again.

Every step of the process went great - from the initial call to the actual work. They called to say they could clean our gutters about 2 days after the initial call. We had several days of rain recently and noticed that our gutters were really overflowing. Both Chris and Chuck were very professional and got to work right away on the upper gutters. During the course of cleaning the gutters they inspected our roof and advised us of some loose flashing by a chimney as well as a gutter clamp that was not working. They fixed the flashing for $50 repaired the gutter for $40 and were still on their way in about an hour. We will definitely use Wellman in the future when we need gutter work or other outside maintenance.

Wellman Exteriors Inc. was good deal. We were happy with that. I didn't pay more than the big deal purchase.

First contact was made on 4/29/13 for quote and work date. Work date was made to be week of may 13 as my son's birthday was May 26 and his graduation was June 8th. They called to confirm that they would come on Saturday 18th between 1-5pm. On the 18th they were a no show and they never called until monday the 20th to say they could not make it as they were on another project ,but were next in line and would be in on the 22( they power washed only)but said we were next in line for staining. I called on the 24th and they said they would not be able to get the deck done for my son's birthday. Always using the weather as an excuse. They actually had good weather the original days scheduled. Finally I called on the 28th and left a message. I received a call from a subcontractor back and this guy was fantastic and on the ball. I originally was to purchase stain for the deck and he told me I was given the wrong information about the stain I needed and that he would take care the stain and that my work had fallen thru the cracks and he would make sure that this would not happen with him, he came out and looked at the deck since it had been powerwashed over a week before. He was very professional and scheduled an appointment for June 4th and he did a great job, had to come back following day for a little extra work and we were able to use the deck for my son's graduation. If it wasn't for this subcontractor we could still be waiting for our deck to be done with original one. I believe the original crew overbooked themselves and could not find a way to tell us. Honesty would have been the best.I do thank Wellman for finding a great subcontrator for the work. I would use them again if I get this type of service from the second contractor given.

My parents live in Indiana and so I bought the Angie's List deal and they arranged for the service. My sister got a return call quickly, they set up the appointment, the workers were there on the day arranged. I think the service overall was good. But she said that the guy that she originally talked to and arranged the appointment said that the guys would actually climb up the trees to do thinning out, but they didn't do that; they just did it from ladders. So I don't know if it was as effective as they needed. They were good, and they would use them again and recommend them.

Wellman did a superb job of cleaning my gutters on a tri-level house with three sets of gutters. This house is on a steep hill and the gutters are quite high off the ground...I have always done this myself, but as a Mother's Day gift to my wife, I agreed I will now turn this over to others from here on out, given I'm not quite as spry at 62 as I used to be and that ground is a long way down! Wellman employees Chris and Chuck were very polite and worked their butts off on a 95 degree day on a black roof. Both worked the roof/gutters and the ground cleaning up after the fact. Gutter cleaning was done with powerful leaf blowers with the guys walking the perimeter of the roof several times to get everything including roof itself and downspouts...man what a lot of crap had accumulated in them. I also had them remove the old metal gutter guards that were collapsed and partially causing clogs, and they carried them to the curb. I had them cut and remove a large dead tree limb that was poised to land on a neighbor's car, especially given a big storm is due to hit the area tonite. Per prior arrangement, I had them also clean our dryer vent which needed it badly ( it has a 40 foot run and was stuffed...now flowing well). All told, Chris and Chuck did the needed work better than I would have and I am a perfectionist...I spent a total of $244 for the above described work and it was worth every penny. This is my FIRST Angie's List service buy...I really like the concept and will not hesitate to use it (And Wellman) again. Roger Goodnow Martinsville, Indiana

They left without trimming one of the trees. I called and they apologized and returned several days later the trim the remaining tree. The quality of the job was just average at best. I used them because of the discounted service offered through Angie's List.

They arrived, blew off the roof and cleaned the gutters. They came down and cleaned up the mess on the ground. All in all a very nice experience that took about 20 miinutes.

Initially they removed the wrong trees. Then they comped me some of the cost of it. They did a great job of clean up for what they did.

We used them again because they did such a good job the first time. I was not as thrilled the second time. They did not do exactly what I wanted them to do. They cut down a young tree. I think it was just a mistake, I would be a lot more clear on my instructions.

They cleaned my gutters and roof. They were out and did the work very quickly. They were here and then they were gone. I felt like they could have been more thorough. They just took a leaf blower and blew out the gutters and downspouts. They also cleaned the dryer vent.

I was very pleased with my experience. They arrived a few minutes early and got straight to work. When I arrived, the supervisor met with me and discussed what he saw up on my roof. They blew out all of the gutters on our 2-3 story house and then cleaned up all of the debris. It was all done within an hour.

Very responsive, flexible, and willing to work with my schedule. They even went out and bought the stain, I just had to pick the color and pay for it. They moved everything off my deck AND put it back where it was, which was nice since some of it is heavy and I would have struggled with it.

Wellman responded right away and we scheduled a day. When I came home from work, they were done and were just cleaning up. They were careful when navigating their truck between my neighbor's house and mine. I was very happy with their work and the price.

The team was prompt and professional. They dd a nice job.
