Tree Service
After two weeks of daily phone calls to leave messages, we have not received any return phone call or information on when the work will get completed. The phone message mail box is full, and I have a yard full of branches/tree limbs that need to be removed so that I can finish winterizing the yard. The willow tree has not been treated, and I will have to pay an extra $120 to have the tree limbs removed from my yard. We have been extremely disappointed with the experience, and would NOT recommend using this vendor at all.

Of course I've called and called and called but since they are a completely unethical business they do not answer, answer, answer. Anybody need any firewood? It's free for the hauling!

Tree Service, Chimney Repair
Wayne Smith stopped in my driveway a few weeks ago soliciting work and presented a professional business card for Wayne's Tree Service; it said he was insured. It had an 812 area code cell phone number. I called him a few weeks later to get some tree trimming done. He and a three-man crew came the next day, Sunday. They trimmed dead branches or overhanging branches from about 8 trees, including a couple of trees I had not considered. He also said they'd blow off the leaves from my roof and gutters, and from my back deck and front porch, sidewalk and driveway. He noticed a wound on a beech tree that was starting to get insect infestation. They cleaned it out and put a spray tree wound repair sealant on it. They had a chipper machine that ground up the branches that were removed. While on the roof they noticed loose flashing around the two chimneys. They gave me an estimate for chimney repair and I authorized them to go ahead and do the repair. Cost of tree work: $650 Cost of chimney repair: $350 They appeared knowledgeable of tree work. The work was done professionally and efficiently. They did an excellent job of blowing leaves off my driveway, etc., and my property looked good when they left. When Mr. Smith initially stopped in my driveway I got the impression that his price would be very reasonable. I don't think the actual price was inexpensive, but it was probably competitive with others, and there were four men working. Mr. Smith said he's located on the south side, around Raymond and Shelby.

Tree Service
These guys were riding around looking for some work. There were no problems with the cutting down the trees, but apart of the agreement was that they would ground the stumps up. They were to come back the following day to do the stumps. They did not show up and my husband sat around waiting on him, we called and they said someone else had the truck. They did come by when we were gone and our daughter called us and we didn't give them permission to finish the work.

Tree Service
We used them on two separate occasions. They approached us, had been going through the neighborhood soliciting work, and told us they were on Angie's List and had a good rating. So, we had a tree that needed to come down, they gave a very competitive rate for it, so my husband had it taken care of. They did an acceptable job. However, a few weeks later, we also had them remove 3 small trees along a fenceline. I was told they would return shortly with their chipper to take away the trees and debris. That was two weeks ago. All of it is still laying in our yard. We had just completely reseeded our yard two days before they left the trees there. We finally had to drag them over to a new spot ourselves, as they'd started killing all the grass. We have called them daily for a week, and have received excuses and promises, but no action, from Wayne himself. At this point, it appears we'll have to pay someone else MORE money now to have it removed. Thanks.

Tree Service
THE WORK WAS DONE QUICKLY AS SCHEDULED AND THE CREW CLEANED UP AFTER COMPLETING THE WORK. WE THOUGHT THE PRICE WAS FAIR DUE TO THE CLOSE PROXIMITY OF THE TREE TO THE TWO HOUSES. THE TREE CUTTER AND OWNER OF THE COMPANY WERE BOTH PLEASANT AND EVEN REMOVED SOME DEAD LIMBS FROM ADJACENT TREES FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
