Tree's & More

AAA tree service was in the area and came to our home, asked my husband if he had any work to be done. They could do it that day. He showed them a tree we had been planning on having removed. It had about a 6" trunk and was about about 11 feet tall. They said they would cut, remove and haul for $300.00 we paid them. However they did not cut to the ground, they left about a 3 foot tall stump he said he wasn't going to damage his saw as it was too close to the fence so it was cut to the fence hight. In addition they did NOT haul all the limbs, away. We called them to ask them to finish the job of hauling away however they never responded. We removed the limbs ourselves and piled them in the alley at our back fence and called them again leaving another message for pick up they did not respond. We eventually had to dispose of the rest of the limbs ourselves. The bushes and plants near the tree removed were trampled and never recovered. A birdbath was broken and now unusable. Over all Not a good experience but a great lesson --check Angies list BEFORE hiring!
