Russell begged for money up front to cover equipment and alleged land fill fees. I made mistake of giving him a third of money. He did complete a small part of it that evening, then promised to come back next day to do the rest. I had to call him next morning and he said he was on his way, but did not come. Called back when he didn't show and he said he apologized and had excuses as to why he was late but was still coming at a certain time. He didn't show or call and then would not answer his phone. The next morning, my brother and I went to his home address (on his estimate quote) and had a confrontation with him about not calling or coming and still owing me work I already had paid him. He did come and at least completed work which amounted to what I paid him and still promised to come next day to finish rest of job and get paid for the rest of his quote for the job. He never showed up and has never called since. If we hadn't gone to his house and put him on the spot, I do not think he would have ever come back and I would have been out the money I paid. I would never recommend him for any work at all.

Well wrote and signed an agreement for half the money up front half when he was halfway done since I was going to town and it would be completed over my weekend away. I returned home to the trees still just laying all over my yard how I had left it 2 days earlier. Spent months trying to get them back to finish the job to not avail. He left a large amount of large trees laying all over my yard and took off with my money. I did as much as I had time to do myself and had to pay about what I had played them to begin with to have another company finish. They are liars and crooks. I tried to warn my neighbors. But they did not put 2 and 2 together when he showed up thi s year and did the same. Did half the job and took off with 3 neighbors thousands of dollars.

Great. He always gets the job done. Always beats others prices. Saved me alot of money. Very Affordable. He stays busy so sometimes he is hard to get ahold of but once you get it set up he will be there and hets the job done. Awesome Guy

He works very hard while at your house,but if he leaves you will be lucky to see him again . Before he left he asked for some money to cover the cost of going to the dump at least $500. Don't do it. He take it and run never to return. DO NOT HIRE, HE IS A SCAM ARTIST!!!!

I'll say this, WHEN he was here, he worked, and worked hard. But he would leave and we wouldn't hear from him for days, sometimes as long as a week. We paid about 1/3 of the balance up front, and then we paid him the rest as he would come back. He was always willing to notate our receipt when we made another payment, so I don't think he's out to try and gouge anyone, but it takes entirely too long for him to respond to calls or text messages. We practically had to harass him to get him to finish the job. He wouldn't begin working at our house until around 4:30-5:00 and he would work way too late. We had the cops at our house twice because of him. We are new to our subdivision, and I think it's safe to say our neighbors aren't fond of us. I would never recommend this guy, unless maybe if you had 1 or 2 trees that he could knock out in a day. Our job was "promised" to be finished by 11/12 and it wasn't done until 12/8. Once he's on your property, he works hard and gets a lot done. But, getting him to come back is like pulling teeth. GET ALL YOUR PAYMENTS DOCUMENTED, AND DON'T PAY UP FRONT.

The owner Russell had cut down 6 trees for us early December. At the end of December I decided to call him back to do another job by cleaning up the trees. My husband had started splitting the wood but didn't have enough time to finish it before snow starts coming so I called Russell to see if he would finish the job for me. He agreed to do it for $900. Upon the first day of working, he requested half of the amount so I rounded up and gave him 500 in cash (that's all he would accept). He mentioned that he may be finished by the end of the day and had asked if I would get the rest from the bank just in case. I agreed and left for the bank. As I was driving to the bank, he called me and had said that it seems like a lot more work than had planned and asked if I would be willing to pay him 1000. After feeling pressured, I agreed to the 1000. At a point we wrote up a contract saying that we had paid in full and had a deadline for him to finish the work. A month later he is still less than half done and has not shown up since he was paid. He now Hangs up or just ignores our calls. We rarely can get in contact with him and when we can he makes up excuses then next time will admit to lying to us and make new excuses. He left with our money and is nowhere near finished. He is a thief and a liar and is still dodging our calls.
