TGIC Lawn Service

They applied two weeks ago and we went out to check & we see clover all over our yard.  We called and spoke Gary Butcher about coming back out to reseed and correct what they had done.  He refused and blamed it on our lawn.  He said that our lawn was full of weeds and that he has no control of our lawn.  We have NEVER had any problem with clover on our yard.  He applied Clover on our lawn and is not taking responsibility for that.  I have not paid the fee and he believes we are trying to scam him.  We do not plan on paying him until he actually resolves the issue.

Normally my husband rents a lawn aerator every fall but when we saw TGIC's offer on Groupon it was too good to pass up. Initially it was hard to get a hold of them to find out how/when we needed to redeem the coupon. They explained a large amount of people purchased the Groupon and they would be scheduling appointments based on what side of the city we live on and also gave us lawn care instructions to follow prior to the aeration. Once that was explained to us I understood they were a little overwhelmed and we just needed to be patient. They came out a few weeks later and did the treatment while we were at work. They did a good job and cleaned up the dirt left behind on the driveway, patio and sidewalks. Overall I am happy with the services and feel we got a great deal.

It went GREAT.  Gary did an excellent job.  It had just started to rain as he arrived, and he completed the aeration as scheduled.  After the aeration, the rain was still coming steady and even though I had not scheduled the seeding in advance, Gary took the extra time to measure out the area I was hoping to seed. Between this year and last year, my yard had really suffered and it was needing the seed for sure, but I only had a set amount of money to spend. As a single Mom, I'm always worried about being pressured by "salesmen".  In no way, was I pressured to spend extra money to seed the entire yard and it was greatly appreciated.  Gary totally understood that I had a budget to stick to.

Not only will I come to TGIC as a repeat customer, I'll gladly refer them to friends & co-workers as well.
