Description of Work: I needed a internal main water value replaced as it wouldn't shut off. They were professional, on-time and great to work with. I was very satisfied with the final results. Only issue was a misunderstanding on my part as to why there would be two trip charges as a result of a difficulty in finding the outside main value, otherwise I would've given them the highest rating for Price as well. I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them.

 + -1 moreThis is the second time we have used Starks. The first time was for a clogged kitchen sink. Bob & Steve are both very professional. They called and let us know what time they would be here. After going to purchase a water heater from their supplier, they called to let us know that a slightly smaller model would be plenty big for our household and would cost much less. That alone saved us close to $250. They get here when they say they are going to and they work fast and efficiently. Will definitely use them again in the future if needed.
Description of Work: Replaced broken water heater and installed a drip pan.

 + -1 moreTHE STARK BROTHERS WERE BOTH VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARRIVED WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD ARRIVE - THEY EVEN CALLED A FEW MINUTES BEFORE ARRIVING TO ENSURE THAT I WAS READY FOR THEM. THEY OFFERED LOTS OF GREAT INSIGHT AS TO THE LONGEVITY OF WATER HEATERS AND GAVE ME ADVICE ON WHAT I COULD DO TO LENGTHEN THE LIFE OF MY NEW HEATER. THEY SHOWED ME HOW TO CHANGE THE SETTINGS AND EVEN RECOMMENDED THAT I KEEP MY MECHANICAL ROOM DOOR LOCKED AFTER SEEING THAT I HAD A VERY YOUNG CHILD IN THE HOME. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY HIRE THEM AGAIN.
Description of Work: I CALLED BOB STARKS AND DESCRIBED MY LEAKING WATER HEATER PROBLEM OVER THE PHONE. HE ASKED SPECIFIC QUESTIONS REGARDING WHERE THE LEAK WAS COMING FROM, AND HOW MUCH IT WAS LEAKING, HOW OLD THE HEATER WAS, ETC. HE ADVISED OVER THE PHONE THAT IT SOUNDED LIKE THE WATER HEATER WAS CRACKED AND THAT IT WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED - BUT THAT HE WOULD NEED TO LOOK AT IT TO BE SURE. HE PROVIDED ME LOTS OF DETAILS ON THE MANUFACTURING QUALITY OF THE TYPE OF HEATER THAT I HAD, AS WELL AS HIS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES WITH THIS BRAND. HE ADVISED HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST HIM TO REPLACE THE HEATER AND PROVIDED WARRANTY INFORMATION ON THE BRAND HE WOULD INSTALL. HE ARRIVED THE NEXT DAY WITH HIS BROTHER - LOOKED AT THE HEATER, DETERMINED IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. HE ENCOURAGED ME TO OBTAIN COMPETITIVE QUOTES; HOWEVER, I HAD ALREADY DONE SOME RESEARCH AND KNEW HE OFFERED A GOOD PRICE - HE OFFERED A DISCOUNT AFTER I MENTIONED ANGIE'S LIST.

 + -1 moreOUTSTANDING WORK. BOTH STEVE AND BOB STARK ARE PROFESSIONAL DELIGHTS. THEY ARRIVED EXACTLY AS PROMISED, AND COMPLETED ALL THE WORK IN 4 1/2 HOURS. THE LABOR CHARGE FOR THE TWO OF THEM WAS $750. THEY CAME PREPARED WITH THEIR EQUIPMENT, BEGAN THE WORK, AND DID NOT STOP UNTIL ALL ITEMS HAD BEEN COMPLETED. THEY WERE NEAT IN THEIR WORK AND GRACIOUS IN THEIR APPROACH. SIMPLY AN OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE. THEY ALSO DID SOME WORK FOR MY SON A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO AND HE WAS EQUALLY IMPRESSED SO FOR US THIS WAS MORE THAN A SINGLE POSITIVE EXPERIENCE.
Description of Work: PURCHASED AND INSTALLED GERBER ULTRA FLUSH COMMODE, INSTALLED WALL MOUNTED LAVATORY WITH LEGS, DELTA FAUCET, TUB AND SHOWER FAUCET, A NEW GARBAGE DISPOSAL, REPAIRED ONE OUTSIDE SPIGOT AND REPLACED A SECOND ONE. WE ALREADY HAD THE LAVATORY, THE DELTA FAUCETS FOR THE LAVATORY AND TUB AND SHOWER, PLUS THE DISPOSAL. THEY PURCHASED THE GERBER COMMODE, THE NEW OUTSIDE SPIGOT, AND MISCELLANEOUS PARTS.
