Very prompt in returning our call and scheduling an appointment. Was willing to allow us to purchase the part from a local store, but then he searched and found it for us for a lesser price! He did the work in a timely and clean manner. We were very satisfied.

It went excellent. I have used them for 20 years, they are just excellent. I have known them for a long time.

Steve arrived on time and was very neat and clean. He got right to work and was able to get the new pump installed and remove the old one with no mess. He was also conscious of the cost and reused a few of the good original parts (lid and check valve). When the job was complete Steve took the time to go over things with me and also went above and beyond when he anchored a few pvc pipes that were shaking when the pump ran. Overall I was very pleased with the work and the professional service delivered.

I called around noon and he came the same day fixed my problem and didnt charge very much to do it. I am so glad I called them and will use them in the future my only regret is I didnt know about them sooner. :)

The work was done with quality, in the time specificed and he was very professional. This is the second time we have had work done with them, we have also recommended them to family and friends. We have never been disappointed.

Excellent company!! We have used them several times. Called to schedule appt and they came out the next day. Reset toilet, caulked around gasket and add an additional wax ring. Appreciated the assistance in correcting a problem I created when I installed my own toilet. Service as usual was excellent and the price is always fair. Angie's list discount was applied.

I contacted Starks Plumbing and left a voice mail on (I believe) on the afternoon of 9/12. Steve Starks called me back the next morning and told me he was out of town and could come over on Thursday (9/15) to look at the scope of work and give me an estimate. He showed up Thursday on time and after talking to me and looking at the job gave me an estimate of 3-4 hours and $425. He started the next day and was done on time. Wish I could attach some pictures here to show you the excellent quality of work! On top of that, he discounted me 10% off the quote since I found his company using Angie's List. He also found and repaired a small leak on the outgoing hot water pipe from my water heater. I could not be more pleased with his work, expertise, customer service, prices, or quality of service. A top rate job done by a professional who obviously cares about his work and service. I have two outdoor faucets that need to be replaced and Steve told me how to do it myself, saving me a service call from him. I am going to try it but if I can't do it I will not hesitate to call his company. I will never call anyone else for any plumbing needs.

Bob was very professional and came out on his planned day off early in morning to accomodate us. Price was very competitive and well below most other companies I checked. Would definitely call on Bob for my future plumbing needs.

Plumber fixed small gas leak near water heater and stopper problem in a bath vanity sink. He was prompt, very professional but needed my push to be persistent in finding the very small gas leak. Upon his arrival, only knew the leak was near the water heater.

Sump pump was getting old and very noisy; plus the sump pump well had never been cleaned and had various debris in it. Made an appointment with Steve to come out and take a look. He arrived promptly on 7/5. Within a couple of hours he replaced the pump, cleaned the well out and had cleaned everything up. This is not the first time he's helped me out. I would recommend Starks to anyone. They do a top-rated, excellent job and are honest, friendly and economical.

While I was on vacation in another state, my neighbor that was watching my pets informed me that my basement was flooded. I called Starks Plumbing from Florida after hours and asked them if they could help. It was on a Friday evening. They had family plans, but still went out to my home. They went above and beyond. I will keep these two brothers as my plumbers forever. They do not try to sell you something you don't need. They tell you up front what exactly needs to be replaced, but they try to fix it first. This flooding did a lot of damage, but their service was fantastic.

It went very well. Steve and Bob are professional and explain things thoroughly and I was very pleased with the price and quality of work and how fast they were able to complete the work, especially considering all the work and different jobs they did including having to work in a wet crawl space after our heavy rains. Bob gave discount for being Angies List customer.

When I called Steve, he remembered being here previously, as we had discussed moving the sink. He suggested I use a new sink, since the other was 25 years old and they aren't that expensive. He also supplied a new single lever faucet with sprayer, which was ideal for the application. The water and drain lines had to be rerouted to the new location, and the new sink wall mounted. While Steve was working on the lines, I removed the old sink from the wall and pulled out the old lines when he cut them loose inside the crawl space. He worked with me on price, and included the Angie's List discount. The job went well and was done in less than 2 hours. Steve did his usual quality work and the new sink looks and works great.

Everything went great...I was able to take care of things myself without a service call. I appreciate Mr. Starks being able to help me out over the phone.

Steve arrived within a day of my calling him. He was on time, professional, and very friendly. I had numerous leaks going on and he was constantly working on one leak while he waited on the other problem he had just fixed to set-up for testing. He discovered a couple of problems I hadn't even noticed. He was also able to loosen some 25 year old faucets without marring the surface. He was swift yet patient with everything, so that what was done was done right and done in a timely manner. He made some future recommendations for additional things that needed looking at but didn't push or insist. The price was extremely reasonable and I am ecstatic with the repairs as all leaks are gone and we are no longer having to work around our plumbing problems. We will definitely use this company again....have their magnet on the fridge. Prompt, professional, knowledgeable and will be my plumber for as long as they'll have me. Never in my life thought I'd be this happy with a plumber. Definitely a great company.

Noticed my water softener was spewing minerals out. Called Starks because I had heard several people on the southside speak highly of them plus I liked the reviews on Angie's list. Talked to Steve Starks and he gave me his honest opinion of what was wrong and what options I had. I was impressed because he referred me to several other vendors that he thought could help me replace parts and/or purchase certain specific softeners helping me to save some money. In the end, I decided to go with Starks Plumbing and get a new softener. I made that decision on Friday and on Monday first thing in the morning he came out to the house, replaced the old unit along with some things I needed to have done. He was very professional, honest, didn't waste any time and gave me all kinds of good advice.

Steve worked on the spigot that was leaking. He replaced a washer first in the hopes of saving me some money. About a week later, it was leaking again, so he replaced the spigot and applied what I paid on the first visit to the bill. He is very honest, fair and conscientious. I will call him again in the future.

It was a seventy five gallon gas water heater and size was a problem. I read the reports and comments about them which made me consider choosing them. They were very professional, explained what they were going to do and why they were doing it. They were good listeners and knew what they were doing.

He was very honest. He could have had us buy a whole hot water heater, but he was able to fix it. I would have been perfectly happy to give him the money for a hot water heater, but we didn't need it.

I thought a replacement outlet was required. Starks arrived at the time designated when called. After evaluating the situation indicated that replacement of water outlet was not required only a repair kit was needed. Water outlet was fixed and work completed within 30 minutes of arrival.

Steve came over and gave us an estimate, he scheduled time to come back and do some of the initial work. He returned once we had completed some of the work ourselves, then again once we had the vessel sink. Very professional, asked us our preferences. Very accommodating, we had to reschedule due to the wrong sink being delivered. We would hire Starks plumbing service again.
