Sprint

I chose them because my nephew is using Sprint. I have everything that comes with the account; all data and all that stuff. I'm very happy with them.

Sprint's service is horrible.  It will go from 5 bars, to dropping a call.  Data speeds are dismal.  The Indianapolis area is supposed to be 4G, but I've only got a 4G signal once in 6 months.  Their local store customer service is HORRIBLE (Sprint store on I-31 by Greenwood Mall).  I had a problem with a phone where the charging port was malfunctioning.  The pins were no longer making good connection.  Instead of helping me get this fixed, they accused me of dropping the phone in water (which had never been done) and told me that I had to buy a new phone.  Conveniently, it was the end of my contract and time for a renewal.  When I refused, they would still not fix my phone, or provide me with a usable phone for the usage of the service I was paying for.  I called customer service.  Fortunately, since I had the insurance plan, they replaced it that way where I paid the $100 deductible up front, then they gave me a $25/month credit for the next 4 months.  That said, it doesn't fix the horrible phone connection, dropped calls, poor data speed, etc.  The only good thing about Sprint is that they have a less expensive plan than their competitors.  I am currently doing all I can to get the rest of my family out of the contract that they are locked into so that we can terminate our relationship with them.  It's worth more to me to have a stable service, than it is to have a lower bill.

I will use them in the future.

I am not particularly fond of the way they conduct their services. I chose them about 10 or 12 years ago and I have two unlimited data plans; you can't get unlimited data plans from other service providers.

I give them a C at the very best because cell phone providers are not great. They just have bad signal and dropped calls.

I have been using their services for a year. I give them an "A" overall.

I know they try. I like to go into the store and see them personally. I have good experiences when I needed them to fix something if my phone was not working properly.

I've had issues, but I really don't think anyone's any better. The people at this Sprint store seem to be better informed than the company store in Speedway.

January 2008 can't come soon enough. I would NEVER again sign a contract with Sprint. I signed a contract in January 2006 and it was the worst mistake of my life. I have been on the phone with Sprint or in the store every single month since signing the contract because of multiple issues. The customer service has got to be the worst of any company I have dealt with. I often wonder if the screen one person reads is the same someone else could read. I am constantly repeating myself every time I call. The only reason I signed a contract was because my employer offered a discount, I would rather pay full fee someplace else then to deal with the ongoing incompetence of this company. A word of advice, don't loose your phone and call to have services suspended and expect it to be done right away because Sprint said that if we are in two different time zones, charges can still be applied to your account even though you did the responsible thing in notifying them. Excuse me?!?!?!
