Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

It went good. It turns out my granddaughter dropped the combination lock and it got stuck and they fixed the problem.

The plumber told us, without really looking, that we would need a check valve installed out in the yard and that it would cost us $3,000 - $5,000. We asked if they could install this inside of the house to reduce cost and he said that can't be done. Since he didn't bring his camera with him, I don't see how he could have known with such certainty that this is what needed to happen. I called other plumbers for quotes and they all said that check valves can be installed on the inside, that this is what they would plan on doing, and that it shouldn't cost more than $1,000. After hearing such discrepancies, it was clear to us that Service Plus was just trying to book us for an expensive job that we didn't necessarily need. Lastly, the plumber indicated he would be back in a couple of days with a camera to take a look at the pipes. He was supposed to come over the following Tuesday evening, and he never showed. We didn't receive a call or acknowledgement in any way from him or the company. I went with Service Plus because they had positive reviews on Angie's List. I am severely disappointed in their firm and will never use them again.

The service provider we have used for years, cancelled my yearly heat inspection/cleaning and then could not re-book me until mid-January! So I called Serviceplus after reading good reviews. They scheduled me within a week and also were able to replace humidifier within a day of the first appointment as it was not in good shape. We had experience a loud noise from the furnace at times so 2 repairs were made on furnace. I was told the owner of the company went across town to pick up a new humidifier when the usual supply house was sold out. Great service!

As the system was not one of the brands they normally work on they did not have the necessary parts on hand to install it. The coupon thus would not cover this extra cost and they estimate they gave me for the additional cost was more than I wanted to spend. I decided to not go forward with them for the service and have requested a refund from Angie's List. They were very nice, up front and professional. I would use them for future service.

We have a great experience with them. Nice. Fast. Informative. Good with kids! They were early and worked fast. We had heat in no time and are really impressed with the machine they installed! Highly recommend!

Great service very professional. Service was completed quickly and was very thorough.

The service person came out very quickly after we called asking for assistance. We needed a new part for our furnace. Once the company received the part, the service person came out and replaced it.

It was a Big Deal purchase. The service was okay. They did what we asked so it was fine. There were extra charges. We had to do a couple of things in addition to what they came out for. They did the work and they were courteous and were polite while they were here. They gave us a quote on a new furnace. We had another person come and look at it and the next person kind of said that they were trying to oversell us on some things with our furnace so we were a little disappointed by that with them but overall, it was a good experience. We probably would not use them in the future.

Everything went well, they did a great job for us.

They had to replace an air conditioner they had installed with a larger one because it would not remove the humidity in the house, so it still was hot even when we had the air conditioner set at 68 degrees. I would not go lower than 73 degrees. After that was all fixed we had our furnace cleaned and inspected. As the weather got colder our humidifier would not work. A board was replaced and now it is working as it should. They did not charge us even though we did not buy the humidifier from them. They have been very good about meeting all of our expectations in a professional and friendly way. I would recommend them if you want a company that will go out of its way to make sure you get what you want and at a price that you can afford.

I was so impressed because the furnace was an emergency issue and they came after hours. The furnace pipe had become disconnected and it would have been a carbon monoxide issue. They came after hours to have it working safely until the final repairs could be done in the next few days. They discovered an electrical issue which had to do with lack of grounding, which I had taken care of by another electrician. They were prompt courteous thoroughly knowledgeable and took time to explain things. They had a fair price and sent an appreciation card after the work was done. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Furnace not heating house completely. Called to request a service visit. Was told they could fit me in that afternoon and that there were 3 appts ahead of me. Service tech called approx 1 hr later to let me know he was on the way and with an ETA. He quickly diagnosed issue and repaired. All in all, very satisfied with the service I received. I have used Service-Plus in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

Arrived early for the appt (called first) and started working immediately...very courteous and informative. The entire job took a little longer than expected, due to the drain requiring add'l clearing.

I was a little disappointed that the cost of the Big Deal ($39) didn't include the fill valve repair. I figured that's what a "tune-up" was. It ended up costing more than I expected.

This was the second time I've had Service Plus out to the house to do an annual check on my furnace. And, as with the previous visit, they were prompt, courteous and thorough. At $44, it was an excellent value, and I couldn't recommend more! Thank you for living up to your promise!!

Called 30 minutes prior to arrival and arrived on time. Furnace inspection went well, he was even surprised how well and clean our furnace looked.

They did a very good job. I bought the big deal and they came out the same day before 5:00 p.m. It was a very tight space and he was able to get in there and find the issue right away. The gentleman that cam out was Tim and he did a great job.

Spoke with them and they explained they were unable to do the job due to the valve not the right kind of valve.

The technician must have been new to the company b/c he kept trying to make me do things as a Landlord I've never had to do with hiring a plumber at my rental. This caused major delays and me calling into the office multiple times for authorizations. Also I knew there isn't a guarantee on drain cleaning with this type of price point, but I should have known that after trumping the technician decision he wouldn't do a good job at cleaning it out. Flooded again within 1 and a 1/2 days! So that $59 literally went down the drain. I called my old plumber out and just paid the $109 to get it professionally done with at lease some sort of guarantee and he cleaned the basement floor for my renter. I suggest if your drain backs up a few times a year don't buy any drain cleaning service that does not guarantee it stays cleaned out for at least 30 days!

I did not have any contact with this company except for sending them some dates we could do the service. They emailed me back with a phone number to call.

Service Plus was flexible in scheduling both plumbing and furnace inspections at the same time. Office staff/scheduler was very nice. Price was better than the service plan I had been buying from the company that installed my system, and also included plumbing. Both technicians were friendly and courteous. The furnace technician cleaned and serviced the furnace and recommended a change to my heat pump configuration to improve efficiency. The plumbing technician inspected each bathroom, the utility room and the kitchen including under the sink. He indicated there were no problems. However, about a week later I was cleaning under my kitchen sink and found that there had been a slow leak and water had pooled. Based on the wood damage it was obvious the water (and the leak) had been there for a long time (far longer than a week). The connection between the water line and the sink faucet was completely covered with corrosion and was wet. It was very easy to see, but the Service Plus plumber/technician made no mention of it verbally or on his inspection report. I'm on the fence about whether to recommend this company or not. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that I caught the plumbing tech on a bad day.

I don't have the pvc pipe they need for the sewer line cleaning.

Excellent Service! Lex was very professional & knowledgeable of our heating system. He showed my husband how to turn on/off the small wall hung gas heater in the greenhouse. Lex also showed and explained the workings of our house heater while he cleaned & tested it. When I made the appointment the customer service agent on the phone was also very professional and understanding considering I called 3 different times in the day to change the appointment time!! It was the start of extremely cold weather week and the company was very busy with other customers I'm sure!

I called Service Plus early on Saturday morning, as we were hosting about 25 guests for a Baby Shower later that morning. We were having problems with our toilets and weren't sure whether it was a septic problem or something else. Emily was extremely helpful with finding a technician that was in our area and going through the details of the challenges that we were facing. Brian, the technician, called after he finished his first job of the morning and gave us the heads up that he'd be there in 30 minutes. He was extremely responsive and showed up before the guests came over. While the root of the problem is still being looked into, their customer service was excellent.
