On time thorough inspection clear report of findings

I called about 7:30 am, they told me someone was available immediately, dispatched someone at around 8:00 am and was at our front door by 9:00 am. Tech was polite, honest and diagnosed the problem like a pro. He inspected the entire system, found the problem, ran out to get the parts, replaced it, and stuck around a bit to make sure it was all working. Price was a little high for a capacitor replacement, but I think between the prompt service and thorough inspection it made up for most of the cost. Despite this I would still recommend them and use them again.

The big deal was fine. They were pretty expensive to do the additional service that was there but the guy was nice. The service was probably after the day I bought it.

Suggested replacing unit, not sure if this is good advice since it is only 4 yrs old.

service has not been preformed yet. waiting for it to get cooler so they can teat the furnace. Company rep could not have bee nicer is agreeing to wait for service call.

They advised me to get a new unit and refused to work on my old unit. They never actually cleaned my unit because they said it was too dangerous

I had scheduled the inspection and maintenance 2 weeks in advance and a day before the scheduled date, I called up and confirmed the appointment. I was told that the appointment was still on schedule, but just after few hours I was told that the service cannot be done as they have additional work load. I told them I wanted the service done even if it is later that day, as I had already taken a day off, to which the scheduling lady accepted and said the appointment was on. On the day of the appointment, the supervisor lady calls and says they cant make it as they have a lot of calls to attend from the people who purchased their annual maintenance. So, basically this company gives out these deals to attract people and sell the annual maintenance contracts. She left me no option and after some protest from my end, accepted to send a service technician on the following weekend. This person showed up on time and after fixing the condensation pipe, which had broken, he started checking the A/C, First he said refrigerant is leaking, then capacitor is dying and etc.. Finally he said the AC in it's current form wont last through summer and said they would charge about $1800, for finding the leak and about $135 per pound of refrigerant and showing me the coils in the AC, he said the system has leaked half and I may need about 4 pounds refrigerant. At this point I asked him to complete the maintenance and asked him to replace the filter, which I had bought. After this episode, I raised a service request with my home warranty company and they sent a AC technician, who checked all the coils using a strobe light and confirmed there was no leak in the coils, but there was some leak outside, which he was able to fix. He confirmed that about 3 pounds refrigerant had leaked (my AC is 10 years old, so I was not very surprised) and he filled it in and I had to pay $45 as my share of the refrigerant. As far as I know, the warranty company pays only $10 per pound, so I assume they were charging $25 per pound or at max $40. Hence, my experience with this company was below par and I came to a firm belief that when trying to get an AC repaired, it is better to go through the home warranty company as they have some stricter checking of the technicians findings. I will not recommend Service Plus heating and cooling to my friends.

The technician was very thorough and took time to explain in detail his assessment of the system. Although I opted to not have any of the services done at that time, I was impressed.

The technician arrived promptly, seemed knowledgeable and professional and went about his work efficiently. At the end, he informed me that the unit was in pretty good shape except a start device capacitor that has a lot or rust around the seal and is leaking some fluid. He had already put the cover back on the unit, so I did not physically see what he was talking about but he showed me a picture of the device that he had on his phone. He said we could let it be but highly recommended replacing it as it could damage the unit if it leaked into it or exploded. I asked for a quote and was given a discounted $350+ estimate for a replacement if I signed up for a $99 service plan. I had another company come out for a "second opinion" because I wanted to be sure the diagnosis and quote were reasonable. The service tech came out on 4/18 (9 days after the Service Plus visit) showed me the starter capacitor, which did not look nearly as I bad as I remembered the picture looked (but that could just have been my memory), showed me that it tested within range on his meter and said it was fine and that it did not require changing. I asked him how much it would be to replace, if I wanted that done, and his estimate was nearly $100 cheaper than the $350 Service Plus had quoted.

I was blown away. They came at 10pm Memorial Day weekend and identified the problem. The technician helped us turn off the water and scheduled us for emergency repair the next day. Two technicians showed up as scheduled the next day. The had to remove an 8 ft double sink and part of the vanity. They were very careful not to cause damage. They advised we should let it dry out overnight so they returned the next day to put everything back together. Both technician were extremely courteous and friendly. We were pleased from start to finish

The Service Plus provider was able to come early and remained until all drains were free and there were no leaks. He was very meticulous and patient, cleaning up all work areas. We were very pleased.

Was very professional and patient with all my questions. Gave advice concerning increasing water pressure, replacing water heater rods, and a whole home filter on top of the water softener system we already have (on a well). Never tried to sell or up-sell anything, just inspected and assessed. Would hire if other plumbing work is needed.

The service plus guys were prompt and very professional. They even send out an email notifying who will be visiting for this service call and they promptly call before and confirm we are available at home. They evaluated the loud grinding noise coming from the AC unit and also evaluated the condition of the heating furnace. Both needed replacement and they provided a quote with different price options.

Service Plus came to do annual AC maintenance on my 9 year old Trane system. Despite diligent maintenance over its short lifetime, apparently this year the system was a train wreck. Among other things, Service plus recommended I replace the fan and blower motor, perform a leak check (there IS a small leak), and refill refrigerant.($1681 + the leak repair). I was also told an electrical issue would soon require me to replace the compressor ($2300). The second inspection with a different company (the tech had previously worked for Trane), which I observed entirely, resulted in no issues with the fan, blower motor, bearings, or electrical system.

Very quick response, careful to keep things neat and clean, fast high quality work. I appreciated that they explained what the issue was, and how to rectify. I would not hesitate to call Service Plus again.

They were able to get us someone within 2 hours due to a cancellation. Serviceman was prompt, professional and friendly. The cost to do the work was more than we wanted to pay so we figured out another solution. I cannot speak to the price because we did not price compare and do not normally use plumbers because we do it ourselves. Serviceman was helpful with advice for us on how to fix the problem on our own. Definitely worth the $40 we spent. If we had continued to try ourselves it would have cost us hundreds of dollars more to correct our mistake.

I used an Anige's List Big Deal coupon for the service call. This brought the service call charges down to $40.00. The fellow who did the work was courteous, pleasant and did the work quickly. He explained all the work that he did and sent me my receipt via email. I would use this provider again.

Our service technician Bobby arrived on time and went right to work. He found and fixed the issue quickly and I couldn't be happier. The system now works flawlessly. I highly recommend Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing and would use them again without hesitation. As a matter of fact, my family members are also using them now after my excellent experience. Service plus inspected entire unit and came up with an estimate of $5100.00 as unite is beyond repair. Well called another service provided and they they fixed it for $210.00. Surpised but reality.

I had AC tune up with Service plus on May 21. After that, my AC does not work any more. It was working very good before. They came to my house today and told me bad news that the compressor, the capacitor and the contractor all do not work. They asked me to replace the whole unit, which may cost more than $5,000. I told them I need the second opinion. I ask what is the price to change a new capacitor. They told me about $500. So, I just did nothing. Then my friend recommends me another handyman who can repair AC. He came in the afternoon. Within no more than 10 minutes, he fixed my AC with new capacitor. Only cost me $90. Now, my AC works. I think I will never do AC tune up with Service plus!

They were easy to work with. The service man arrived on time, was very professional, cleaned up around the furnace when he was done and did a good job.

Kitchen sink was backing up all weekend - tried the normal things (plunger, Draino) to no avail. I called Service Plus on Monday morning. The very pleasant operator took my info, said she would set me up with a first available appointment. Fifteen minutes later the dispatcher called me and said she would have someone out that day, probably in the afternoon, and that she would call me thirty minutes prior to their arrival. She called me at 12:30, I got an email with the picture of the technician. Technician arrived, very nice and professional. Unclogged the drain. Used a coupon, got a great price. Could not have gone better.
