Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

The service was great. All of the people who worked on the project delivered on all their promises. I was given several options and work was started only after I had agreed to it. Josh and Cameron did the majority of the work. They were especially hard working to get the job done even sooner than was expected. Ronnie, the supervisor, even offered to do a care package for my neighbor since we took up her driveway with a huge pile of dirt for three days. This company has great staff, very friendly. Josh and Cameron made having the work done much less painful than it could have been. They were always willing to provide an update or show me the progress of work whenever I wanted and they were quick to let me know when they ran into an issue that might impede their progress. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Paid for service through Angie's list. Was emailed the following day and was given a number to call to schedule a date and time. I called and scheduled. The technician showed up about 5 minutes early. I explained to him that my AC was still working and was blowing cool air it just seemed to be running longer than normal. I thought it might be a little low on freon and the coils needed cleaned. He hooked up his gauges and informed me that the unit was 4.5 pounds low on freon. This indicated a major leak. He said that he could fill the unit and find the problem for $1800. The $1800 would not cover any repairs needed to fix the leak though. He said that if the leak was in the "A" coil that would cost another $2000. I asked him what a new unit would cost and he said $4200. He took my email address and said that he would email me the quote with the different options. I never received the email but it could have went to my junk folder which I didn't bother to check. I had a hard time believing that I was that low on freon since my unit was still working. I called another company. This guy had to cancel our first appointment because he got tied up on another job. He showed up the following morning. I didn't tell him anything about what Service Plus had told me. The second technician hooked up his gauges and told me I was about a pound low on freon. He filled my AC and was done in less than 30 minutes. I asked him if he thought that I had a leak and if I should be concerned. He told me not to worry. He explained to me that during the cold winter temperatures the seals can contract a little and this will cause a little loss of freon. My unit is 14 years old and this was the first time anything was added. I then asked him what a new unit would cost if I decided to replace it. He told me that I shouldn't have to worry about replacing it for another 5 or 6 years but it would be about $2800. He gave me his bill and it was $85 total. $65 for the service call and $20 for the freon. I feel like the cheap service call is just a way for service plus to gain access to you so they can extract as much money from you as humanly possible. I am glad that this experience only cost me $40. Buyer beware.

We received an inspection report request on a home we are selling asking for HVAC system to be inspected/tuned. Called these guys and they were out the very next day and did a thorough job. Offered ways to save using a big deal coupon. Very quick response, very quick service date, very polite young man came out. They sent his picture and bio before he came out so we would know who to expect. He did not try to sell us anything extra and took his time to go through everything right. Thanks so much!

They came in this morning and they were excellent. It went a little more because of parts and additional time. It was only a couple of bucks more.

The service went well. The technician, Bobby, arrived on time and was very professional. He inspected the furnace and answered all of our questions. I would definitely use Service Plus in the future.

All went well. The problem appears to be an old galvanized pipe that needs TLC every so often.

I bought a big deal for this service and it was fine. They are not going by this name anymore. They come every year now. We went ahead and signed a contract with them. I would recommend them and think they do a nice job. They constantly tell me they are going to follow up on a part that they never follow up on.

I was insulted by the price. As another person wrote. Twice what you'd expect to pay. Sorry, but I've had my share of toilets fixed, and that price was crazy. Oh but wait, there's a membership, yup, now available - a plumbing membership, you can save 15%. Garbage.

The technician came out to fix/replace the faucet and the o-ring cracked in the process. It took a few different visits but the technician not only fixed the original problem but was very detailed and thorough about making sure the faucet was completely leak free before closing the job. I would highly recommend the professional and thorough service we got from Service Plus.

Solved my immediate problem but was a little more expensive for an overall issue recommendation and solution. Based on the high option price I delayed on the bigger job to replace the disposal.

As always, the service was provided in a timely fashion, and the serviceman was friendly and thorough. We highly recommend this company.

He arrived on time, explained the process, and then found ways to save money when we realized how big a problem it really was. I felt comfortable that everything was taken care of.

Almost double the cost compared to other estimates.

Earlier in the summer they had worked on air conditioner and pointed out that it might not make it through the summer. They took the time to explain what the problem was, what alternatives we had, and what they could provide. That information was very valuable and we decided to try to make it through the summer. Our air conditioner quit working on Tuesday and I called them. They came out that morning, inspected it, and explained what choices we had and we decided to install new system. They provided various alternatives and the financial choices that were available. To my pleasant surprise, they immediately agreed to complete the work that very day; which they did by working with two crews to complete the work the same day. The professionalism, promptness, and dedication shown by Service Plus every time we have done business with them is excellent and certainly encourages the willingness to trust in their service.

The estimate of $2,200.00 for a 50 gallon water heater-standard vent seemed out of line. They told me government regulations caused prices to double. My neighbor told me he replaced the same WH I have for hundreds less. I got another quote for the same size WH from a competitor and received a quote more than $1,000 less. I guess they were trying to take advantage of me. The competitor has installed a new WH for us.

Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and even had another service company comment on how clean and clear the furnace was when they came out to clean our air ducts

Overall the experience was bad. The coupon was misleading. The coupon states drain OR main sewer service. I needed my kitchen drain cleared. They would not honor the coupon for that service. It was for the main sewer line only. I wasted $50.00.

Our interaction with every employee of Service Plus, (from phone people to service technicians to senior level management), was excellent. Everyone was professional in their actions and exceedingly competent at their respective jobs. The on sight behavior of the Service Plus people was as good as we have ever experienced with any company that has entered our home to perform a service. They were all respectful of our property and us as the home owners. They were sensitive to our time, were very neat in all of their work, and did the work exactly as agreed upon. They were an efficient, "no nonsense" work team. We were 25 year customers of another plumbing and heating/air conditioning company; but have changed 100 % to Service Plus based on the previously noted comments, and the excellent quality of their work.

The provider removed a vanity in a half-bath so I could remove wallpaper behind it and paint. The company doesn't charge by the hour, but by the type of service, and the closest the plumber could come to was removing and installing a vanity, for $358. He was kind enough, however, to charge me for only one visit/one charge, though he made two trips. I am sure that the price was fair, especially given what he did, but I am always a little taken with "sticker shock" when it comes to paying for plumbing services. I think I should have gone into a different line of work :-).....

The technician who cam out was polite, prompt, and very professional. He cleaned out the drain line, and explained an issue that he discovered with the outside pipes. He went WAY above and beyond my expectations for this call. I would recommend them, and will use them again is the need arises.

Plumbing part was always on time and prompt. We had a yearly contract with Service plus Bought via Angies list. They performed tune up as scheduled and were punctual. Twice during the winters I had problem with my Heater and the availability was poor. On both occasions the appointments were delayed and then postponed. On one of the occasions they actually called at 10 in night when appointment was for 6 PM and asked if they could come. When I asked them to reschedule to morning the next day the answer was you will to call again and schedule. I called back within 10 min and asked them to come in night since I did not want to wait another day. The service person said I have already turned towards home and cannot come back. I do not think I will use the service this year again.

Arrived on time. Did an excellent job. Even waited while I had another service provider in the area where the HVAC unit is located

Jamie, the technician, was overly polite and very professional. He explained everything in great detail. I wish I understood that the appointment would take 2 hours because I had to rush to my next appointment. Also, the company asked for 3 dates to come out but never confirmed when they were coming, So when Jamie called and said he was on his way, I was not up yet and had to rush to get ready.
