Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

He was prompt. Not the friendliest at first, but warmed up as time went on. Cleaned up well after his work was completed. We thought it was leaking again, so another technician (extremely friendly and nice) came out another day and came to the conclusion that the bidet was causing issues. The bidet was installed by someone else.

They did not do anything because the water heater was too old. I think he checked on my toilet. He came and said they were not allowed to flush a water heater so old. It went fine.

Service Plus was great! They walked us through the details of the fix and did a great job ensuring the fix was complete. When he cut away the small area of the pipe that was compromised, he noticed more pipe was damaged than originally estimated, so he fixed those additional sections as well. His attention to detail is appreciated and he gave us good advice on how much longer we have until we need to do further repair/replacements (due to the age of the copper in our house). Additionally, they offered several options for payments/discounts based on how we wanted to proceed. We ended up getting a year subscription to their member service so we got some "free" services (not meaning to sound negative with that, but nothing is ever really free with a business) that we intend to take advantage of (inspections, discounts on future work, etc). Service Plus was wonderful! They performed the work quickly and with high integrity and quality. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future for any of our plumbing needs.

We like that company pretty well so far they haven't done anything to make us not.

Our furnace was cutting off and we figured it was due to the need for a good cleaning. The technicians were prompt and friendly. They came and cleaned the furnace and did the inspection as contracted. They also offered a service package that was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

I ordered the plumbing inspection with water heater flush. The tech ended up not doing the flush b/c he was concerned that since my water heater was so old and had never been flushed, it could be risky to open the valve, flush, and not be able to close it again b/c of so many years of sediment build-up. He recommended just letting it go at this point, and leave well enough alone. The water heater is getting towards the end of its life anyway. I appreciated his honesty and care. What I thought a simple maintenance item could have turned into a nightmare had he ended up flushing the system. He looked over all other plumbing systems and gave me advice on some future needs and assessed my system as is. He gave great advice and even helped point me in the right direction for replacing the internal canister for one of my shower faucet valves. Since that service hadn't been scheduled, he didn't have the part to replace, but showed me where/how to do it myself. Said he could come back out for the appt if I was not confident to do it myself. I've very handy so it was a very easy job for me. Just needed to order the part from Amazon (Delta faucet) and replace the part. It was a snap. I'd use these guys again. I felt it was an honest and fair transaction.

They came the same day I called. They had an evening appointment available and came at 9pm which I really appreciated. I do not like being hot! They did a full inspection and gave me my options. There was no pressure and they were very professional. They were there at 8:30am the next morning to replace my unite. The replacement took 3 hours. They cleaned up after they completed the work. They went over all of the updates and changes with me. I was very impressed with them. I will use them again.

We had been in our 1965 home less than 6 months when we had a number of roots breaking through clay sewer pipes that connect to the main line under the street. The service plus workers came early the day after we called and had to break through the basement floor and then trench an 8 foot deep ditch in our front yard and tear a hole in our street. It took four days of all day work with two to four service workers. They rented a front loader for the trenching and then hired another service company to patch to street. We are most happy with the service plus employees professionalism and hard work. There are two areas we are unhappy about: the $16,000 price tag, and the exterior clean-out pipe the service installed is about three feet tall, right in front of our front porch and is crooked. They promised to came back and cut it down to a normal size, but have never followed through. It is an eyesore.

They were fine, came right out and did what they said they would do. No complaints. I wasn't really in charge of the whole thing but I don't recall that they charged more than the $49. That was a Deal where they had to hire a different company. We didn't actually have the work done on our property, it was for somebody else. They ended up having to hire some other company to come out and they dig up part of the yard and it turns out that work done by a prior contractor in the past had not held up and the pipes were clogged with mud. They dug up the yard and replaced some of the pipe. So it was more than a sewer cleaning, it was actually replacing pipe under the ground. I think they were okay with what happened. They really couldn't do anything. It was so disappointing. They thought that was pretty reasonable.

They were very professional when they came out to snake my clogged toilet. It had been clogged for about a week and we had been putting all variety of drain cleaners and plungers to get it fixed. They did not work. The repairman came, snaked the toilet and it has been working fine ever since. He did not make a mess and did it very quickly. I used an Angie's List coupon to get a discount on the service call. It saved me around $20, I can't remember exactly.

All went well but the Company is misleading you on no additional charges for weekends...

After a bit of a mix up was corrected (was assigned to a HVAC tech, who came out, instead of a plumber even though the job was listed for a plumber), a plumber came out late afternoon. He was able to remove the drain plate (screws were frozen), vacuumed out the drain and then used a snake to check the rest of the pipe. Finally, he tested that it was clear of debris by flushing several gallons of water through it and that the water flowed into the sump pump.

It was excellent. Responsiveness was fine. I would possibly use them in the future.

He Said I have to fix the whole faucet while in reality all it needed a 18 dollar part to fix and he also wanted the whole house faucets to be re done!

The company responded the same day, were prompt getting to the property, and followed up with me about the work that needs to be done and the charges. Highly recommended.

Was able to make phone contact with their office around 3:30 on Saturday afternoon. The lady on the phone said she would contact the tech and get back with us on timing. We were in their system as they had done work for us previously. Never heard back from her. We called again around 7:30 for a status update. The gentleman said he would contact the tech and get back to us. Never heard back from him. We called again at 10:00 and the same lady said the same thing again. We never heard back. It is now Sunday afternoon and we have never heard anything from them. We had out of town guests staying with us and really needed this fixed. If they couldn't get the repair completed for us in this time frame, that is understandable. But they totally failed in customer service in that they didn't let us know immediately so we could have contacted someone else. Service doesn't just mean the repair, it means communication. Now we will never use them again and let all our friends/neighbors know.

I contacted Service Plus mid-afternoon Saturday regarding AC problem. Response time was good and tech arrived timely. Tech indicated capacitor was not properly functioning and cost would be about $400 to replace. My usual service person, who is not affiliated with Service Plus was unavailable and given the weather conditions, I elected to replace the capacitor. The Service Plus tech continued to point out additional "concerns" and that through up a red flag for me. I am sure the purpose was to promote purchase of new equipment. For example, I was told the coolant was low and to run a test would cost $300, but if I bought coolant for $400 the $300 would be waived. I did not do either; instead my normal service person came out on 7/18 and tested the coolant and found no shortage at all. The Service Plus tech also said a particular copper line was "very hot but shouldn't be" and I have since determined it was hot because my system was down for several hours; the copper line is now completely normal. Back to the capacitor. I have been in business for many years and certainly understand the need to be profitable. However, the capacitor the Service Plus tech installed cost about $15.00 and took less than 5 minutes to install. That's not a reasonable profit, that's ridiculous and a reputable service provider should not be in the business of "gouging" it's customers.

Dean identified himself immediately and gave me his card. He was on time. He looked at the tub and then gave me two possible estimates: one if the first try worked and the second if the first try didn't work. I appreciated that there were no surprises with the bill. Dean was professional, worked quickly and asked me to check the drain when he was finished. He discussed possible problems that might cause this problem to be recurring. He gave me some suggestions on how to prevent the problem. Overall, he did an excellent job!

Technician quickly diagnosed the problem and resolved it. Did a couple more inspections and my house was cool again! Very happy with the service, no attempted up selling. Would definitely use them again.

Technician called to say he was stuck in traffic, but was there only few minutes after the originally promised time. He did a thorough review and cleaned the outside condensing unit so that it looks like new. before leaving, he ran down all the work he did and updated me on the condition of everything. He was very friendly and polite, and I didn't hesitate to renew my service agreement.

They were great. They were really good. They were pretty efficient and effective. They did a great job. I liked that they were efficient and timely and cleaned up after themselves.

The service from Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing was okay.

I called them ahead of time when I saw that they are on the list of coupons. They came here and the guy could not tell me what is wrong. I have a plumbing that keeps running. I thought that they could at least diagnose what is wrong or if they need to replace it or fix. But the guy could not even tell me what it is. Then they say that to know the problem they have to tear some parts and they will charge $465 for that, it was just to find out what is wrong. Then if they need to replace some things it will be $1265. But he could not tell me anything, if some thing is wrong or if they need to repair or replace some things. He said that he just came out for the service call. So I sent an email to them and they said that they are going to talk to somebody who can come but I didn’t hear from them and I just want to get the money back. I want to get a refund from the big deal that I purchased because I didn’t even get a diagnosis.

The service was fine. They were great. We had to get it done that day. They were a bit more expensive but they came out to fix it.

It was good. They did everything the offer said they would. Their professionalism was very good.
