Description of Work: At this point we had them out for doing the work but the technician did not have the materials on the truck so we rescheduled. Since it was the weekend and he was on-call, we decided to let it go until Monday or Wednesday, but have not yet had the actual work performed.

Description of Work: I purchased a $66.00 coupon ($265.00) value, to have 4 bathroom faucets and 2 toilets installed. I received a thank you email from Service Plus for purchasing the Angie's List coupon. I replied back and said I wanted bathroom 4 faucets and 2 toilets installed. However when the Service Plus Plumber arrived , he said Service Plus did not charge a flat service charge he went to his truck and returned with a book. According to his book I would be charged $201.00 per faucet. To install the 4 bathroom faucets and 2 toilets I purchased, he was going to charge me $1,926.00. The coupon does not state these charges. It does not say there is a charge per item. I was not told in the email there would be per item installation charges. I am very disappointed that I spent $66.00 for false representation by Service Plus. I am going to request a refund because I feel that Service Plus is not disclosing their true charges with Angie's List coupons. After the Service Plus Plumber left . I contacted another Plumber source and their installation quote is $506.40.

Description of Work: I called Service Plus on Saturday, April 27th, 2013, after I was trying to replace some washers and a spring in my shower valve in our master bath. When I tried to loosen the valve ring, my back monkey wrench wasn't tight enough and I twisted the shower valve which caused a leak in the wall behind the shower. The pluimber called me within an hour after I called the answering service. He asked me questions and was very helpful in my understanding of what needed to be done. I purchased the needed parts at Lowe's for $112 (plus tax) and I purchased an Angie's List coupon before calling Service Plus for $66 which was good for $265 worth of service. The service call was $370 and $150 because it was after hours. The plumber explained all of the charges before he started so I understood before he started. He was very professional and used shoe covers when entering the house. I purchased a 14" by 14 " access panel and he cut out a hole out of the drywall to match the panel. He sweated most of the pipes outside and was done fairly quickly and was answering calls from other customers during his work. I was very impressed how he treated the other customers with respect and patience even though he was in the middle of another job. Also, he also didn't make me feel bad about messing up the valve and he replaced the damaged valve in a timely manner. He was very uinderstanding and got us our water back on within a couple of hours even with all of the interruptions. I will defintely use Service Plus in the future.

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal to have my main sewer line cleaned and a video tape made of the condition of the sewer line. The Big Deal was advertised for $59. There was no mention in the listing for additional charges. When I called to schedule the service, I was asked several questions about my home and where the sewer line access was located. The company still made no mention that an additional $176 would be required to complete the service. The technician called to tell me he was on his way, and again, failed to mention the increase in the advertised price. I had to leave to work and drive across town to meet the technician. During the greeting, I was still not told about the increase in price. Only after we walked through my home and showed him where everything was located was I finally made aware that a house with a basement requires an additional $176, which would have made the service FOUR TIMES the advertised price. Ridiculous. The majority of homes in Indianapolis are on basements, or worse yet, crawl spaces. I was outraged. The company my time not to mention the fact I had to leave work. The company did answer some questions, but performed no work. I think I am more than entitled to a complete refund of the Big Deal. It was a scam.

Description of Work: I bought the big deal $66 for $265 worth of service. I had five issues, a crack in the tub, remove a heat governor on the tub, install a sprayer (I already bought the sprayer from the hardware store), instal a new drain replacement assembly (I also already bought that) and a hair clog. I figured the tub crack could be caulked in order to ensure no water leaked, the hair clog removed, and the items installed. I am a single homeowner and don't have the time to do these things. First, the company did not call me back after I purchased the deal and left them a message. Second, they could only come in two windows: 9-11 or 1300-1600. Not really great for a working person. Once they got to the house he saw the items and pulled out their pricing book. To install a kitchen sprayer is $116.00 even though it was already purchased and he was already here. The same for the drain assembly. He said the tub cracks are only surface and did not require anything but I am still unsure. Finally he unclogged the hair from my drain but did not put the plug back in. It was dirty and I wanted it cleaned prior to putting back. The whole thing took less than an hour including the estimate. The total for the two hair clogs was $116 per clog or $232 ($33 less than my service deal). I did get a plumber to come out and my drains are working faster. I still need to call someone out to my house to fix the rest of the issues. Really frustrating. I understand a company can charge what they want in a free economy but $116 to unscrew a sprayer and screw another in is a bit ridiculous. I still need a plumber.
