Description of Work: After contacting the provider I was informed that the equipment to clean out pipe would damage the pipe since it was corrugated PVC. The provider can only clean out sanitary sewer pipes which have a greater thickness and can withstand the wire cable that is run through it.

Description of Work: I had contacted him and made the appt for them to come over, but when I called they stated that they couldn't come and service till July. I needed them to come out the week I called so I found another provider.

Description of Work: I set up two appointments with this organization and received calls cancelling on both occassions. I do give them credit for calling which is why they get a D. Though their rationale for cancelling was acceptable once, it doesn't set well when it happens a second time. I believe they use this type of deal as a time filler to their lucurative repair business. They lost my business and respect.

Description of Work: Went fine but charged me $79 for a service call and said he would not perform the tuneups until after the service call. Therefore I do not need the tuneup deals and desire a refund. I purchase 3 tune ups at $54 each within the 2 order numbers provided.

Description of Work: I purchased the deal for 45.00 which covered the service call. It also included 100.00 off labor. I got a new sink and needed a new faucet,drinking water tap, and my old garbage disposal connected. The Service Plus estimate was 941.00 with a 100.00 discount which brought it down to 841.00. My garbage disposal was missing the strainer so that included the cost of the new part. We then found the missing part so then the estimate came down to around 700.00. The serviceman showed me all of the individual costs in a Service Plus binder so I know he wasn't just making them up. I refused the service and called another plumber. I was charged 320.00 for all of the installation. I decided to go with a new garbage disposal which was about another 250.00. My total cost was still way under Service Plus even with a new disposal. I have to say I was very impressed with the people I spoke to on the phone. They were very courteous . They sent me a follow up e-mail requesting feedback about their service. I feel that their prices are ridiculous.

Description of Work: The plumber arrived. We explained we wanted 2 toilets installed and we would provide the stool and tanks. He stated that they charged per job not by the hour and they would provide all new rings, ball c****, and hoses that it take about an hour to an hour and half per toilet. He then gave me an estimate for $614, with the discount. We felt this was excessive and have since found another plumber who will perform the work for $150.

Description of Work: We had a pipe burst over the winter and they were able to come out quickly and repair the damage. Pretty pricey, but they were able to complete work within an hour or so. They also email you a picture of your technician so you know who will be there.

Description of Work: I did not have a problem with the company; it is just that my son was able to fix the problem for me. The company's receptionist was very nice. I would consider doing business with this company when needed.

Description of Work: Our experience with Service Plus was anything but service-oriented. We scheduled an appointment for a sewer line inspection on May 13 between 8 and noon. No one called or showed up, so we contacted the company. The first person we spoke with said that there had been a scheduling error and someone had put us on the calendar for June 13. We called back to request compensation (as my husband had taken half a day off work to stay home to meet the worker). After explaining the situation to a different person on the phone, that person checked the calendar and informed us that we were indeed on the calendar for May 13, as we had requested, but that dispatch had screwed up. Clearly, someone was lying to us. After first offering us a $5 Starbucks gift card for our trouble and the missed half day of work, the person on the phone, Josh, offered us a free year's service on our furnace and A/C. When that person came out the following week, he employeed extreme high pressure tactics. We would NEVER use this company for a furnace or A/C repair. Josh also promised to send out a letter to guarantee the service for the year; not surprisingly, we haven't received any letter (or the three Starbucks gift cards he had now offered). Further, when the guy finally came out to perform the service we'd initially requested via the Angie's List Big Deal (sewer line cleaning and video inspection), the workman didn't know what he was there to do. When my husband informed him that it was for a sewer line inspection, he said he wasn't able to do that as he didn't have the video camera. He then left. I called Service Plus and talked to Josh again, who now informed me that TWO guys needed to come out- one to clean the line in the morning, another to do the video inspection in the early afternoon. They never told us that there would be two people coming out at two different times. Once again, my husband lost another half day of work. We cut ties with the company and requested our Angies List Big Deal money back. We would not recommend this company to anyone.

Description of Work: Tech came out, said it was a big job and would rather do it after the heating season. rescheduled for 5/16/13 at 1 pm. Tech showed up at 7 pm and looked at job. Said it "was over his head". Tech was a HVAC tech and that a plumber would have to come out, which is what I paid and requested. Ill just do it myself now.
