Description of Work: We had Service Plus install 3 new toliets, 2 outdoor spigots and a new water heater. There were 4 visits in total. The first was uneventful. The second visit the technician came at 4:00 pm when he was scheduled to arrive at 8 am. I was told there was an "emergency" which I took to mean was with the employee but later found out it was another customer. Only 1/2 the work was performed at that time. He was supposed to return to caulk the outside spigots and never showed back up. When I spoke to him later on the phone he told me I needed to call the office and request he come back out. Pay another $79.00 visit fee? No thanks. We will caulk it ourselves. | |I had to ask on 3 separate occasions to have THREE new toliets installed not ONE. The last visit the technician removed the water heater with sediment still left it in - RUINED my carpeting (rust colored spots covering my entire staircase). He removed 3 toliets and splashed the toliet water everywhere which I had to clean up for over an hour. After he left we had a new toliet with a large chip in the front of it and NO hot water. I had to call the phone service to explain that he had been at my home for over 6 hours and I had a cracked toliet, ruined carpet and no hot water. The plumbing manager did call me to apologize and offer to fix the issues. I wanted my carpet to be professionally cleaned but that's not going to happen. The reason I gave them an F for professionalism was because the technicians all talked about one another in a very unflattering manner. I was shocked, these aren't high schoolers but rather grown men. Don't use Service First if you value your house and it's furnishings.

Description of Work: Tried to unplug a toilet but the broken drain tile was the actual problem. They did not come back to put the toilet back on with the proper tools nor in a timely manner. However, they did show up on time & prepared with the initial call.

Description of Work: The technician who came to my house had been out about a year previously to do the same service (clear the sewar line). He was rude and initially said he wouldn't do it because he had already been out and I needed to have the line replace as opposed to cleaned. He eventually did it, but I couldn't believe his demeanor. How I service my sewar line is my business, not his. I ended up having the line replaced and used a different company because of him.

Description of Work: I made a "Big Deal" purchase with Service Plus for an inspection.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for $49 for a Whole-House Plumbing Inspection, Water Heater Flush + $100 Service.

Description of Work: I had my tub spout replaced. Unfortunately a part broke while performing this work which led to a much larger job. On the good side, I did not have to pay extra for the unexpected work. On the bad side, It took longer than expected and stretched into 2 days. However, in the end I was happy with the work that was done.

Description of Work: One year special offer for two visits to tune-up furnace and heat pump.

Description of Work: I called Systems Plus, an "A"-rated Angie's List vendor on Monday evening when we discovered three leaks from our dish washer, drain, and ice machine coming through the basement ceiling. They sent Ryan and Brian out Tuesday to analyze and fix the leak. I am not the homeowner who was in Istanbul,Turkey at the time (as the grandfather, I was babysitting his children and house). | |The plumbers snaked the drain and installed a value to prevent backflows from the system into the ice machine drain, one of two low points in the plumbing. The total charge for this work was $1003. We were assured that we could run the dishwasher and garbage disposal after that. | |Tuesday evening, the drain and valve both leaked. We called again and Brian claimed we turned down their recommendation for fixing one of the low points in the plumbing, what we all had agreed would be a "long term solution". In the meantime, both Ryan and Brian had assured us the "short term solution" until the owner returned would work. It did not; actually, the $600 valve was the NEW source of one of the leaks...it caused the leak from the ice maker that did not have enough pressure in the drain to force open the butterfly valve. | |Finally, on Wednesday, a more experienced plumber, Dean Pruitt, came out and emptied the ice machine and drained all the water behind the butterfly valve. The dish washer and garbage disposal both are operating without a leak although the ice machine is turned off and empty. | |The company supervisor, Tony Lockhart, has promised to fix the low point in the pipes for not further cost to us other than having to patch up the sheet rock ceiling after they are finished. The owner is considering having them only removing the butterfly valve and paying only for the snaking and analysis or $400 versus $1003 charged. This has not been negotiated yet with Systems Plus.

Description of Work: He checked out my furnace, made some suggestions about potential issues in the future, and although they don't do the humidifier, he told me what filter to buy as well as how to put it in.

Description of Work: They helped me get my furnace restarted and also cleaned my main drain line and unclogged a sewer line in my basement that was backing up. They did a fantastic job and we haven't had a problem with either since. They are an we some company and I have used them many times in the past and will continue to use them for all if my plumbing or hvac needs in the future. Never have disappointed.

Description of Work: An Angie's List coupon for checkup on our sewer line was offered. We have a large sweet gum tree nearby, which had penetrated the line 10 years ago. We had not had any more problems, but we also had not had it checked since then, so this was a great opportunity to do so. Fortunately, no problems. The service person arrived when expected; service was quick.

Description of Work: Replaced Kitchen faucet provided by me & re-leveled toilet in master bath. |Repairs went very well. However, I was surprised at the $354.00 bill. They gave me a $250 credit for my coupon, but if I use them again, I will get a firm quote beforehand.

Description of Work: Only did camera inspection and stated did not need service for cleaning. Also gave an estimate.
