Description of Work: Purchased Big Deal for water heater flush and plumbing inspection. Person who set appt. inquired when last flush was. Provider WOULD NOT flush the water heater due to me not flushing water heater for three years. They should have told me this at scheduling--I would have got a refund on Big Deal.

Description of Work: This was supposed to be an Angie's list Big Deal from February to drain and flush hot water heater. Thought I would try it since I had been unable to get it to drain myself. Tech was very nice, courteous and prompt. We tried multiple times to get it to drain without success. He offered some DIY options if I wanted to try later. He did however, inspect several other issues while here and provided either useful advice, or a quote to do the work. He also checked the heating elements, so at least I know they are working. and he also showed me how to work the quick connects on my RO water filters. Overall was worth the $ even if we didn't accomplish the prime objective.

Description of Work: I purchased this as an Angie's List Big Deal, "$49 for Drain or Sewer Line Clearing". I scheduled the appointment to clear main sewer line with an exterior access (as annual, preventive maintenance). I stated I also wanted a camera ran to inspect the line, which they said was no problem. The plumber was great! He arrived on time, was friendly, professional, and polite. After we discussed the line issue and history, he ran the camera. After running the camera, he explained the various reasons why the line shouldn't be (and didn't really need to be) cleaned. His logic was sound, appropriate, and I completely agreed with him. Since the Big Deal/Coupon was for drain or sewer line clearing, I told him I had a basement drain which definitely needed cleared. Given the time it could take, before he could stay and clear the basement drain, he had to call in to ensure there weren't any conflicting appointments lined up and to ensure the coupon could be honored for the basement drain clearing. He was told the coupon could not be honored. Though the Big Deal title clearly states, "drain or sewer line clearing", I was told the fine print specified 'main sewer line only'. I'm not certain if this is false advertising or an honest 'oops' on the company's part. Regardless, I was less than happy the plumber was told to conclude his visit by collecting the $49 coupon, even though no lines were cleared and the only actual work that occurred was running a camera through the main sewer line. I've learned my lesson and continue to be leery of Angie's List "Big Deals".

Description of Work: Air Conditioning Service Call. System operation was restored by troubleshooting and replacement parts. Parts cost seemed a bit excessive, but the service provider was competent and professional. Was pleased overall with the service.

Description of Work: This was an Angie's List deal. The technician called prior to his arrival. He was very professional and explained each service / part performed / checked. He found a capacitor out of manufacturers specs and I have an appointment scheduled to have it replaced. I am very pleased with the service performed and would recommend Service Plus to others, also
