As far as I can tell, the issue has been fixed.

Our system was on its last leg and we had already obtained quotes from three companies including Service Plus. Service Plus did more educating and less "selling". We planned to install a new unit in the spring but our furnace went out last week and we called Service Plus for the repair. Unfortunately the blower motor had gone out so we pulled out our quotes and selected a system. Service Plus didn't charge a fee for the service call on Monday. The two men arrived on time and were very professional. They were efficient but friendly and personable. They walked us through the new systems and thoroughly explained everything. We used the reviews from Angie's list to help select Service Plus and the reviewers were correct, they were great to work with.

I thought that they were very competent but in one regard they seem to be dwelling more in finding things wrong than trying to inspect correctly as part of the price structure.

They came on time. They did the job excellently. My tub was draining very slow and were able to get that draining properly. They also put a new handle on a new toilet.

My expectations were exceeded. Two Service Plus employees (Furnace Specialist and Plumbing Specialist) were scheduled to provide the services indicated. Both specialists called ahead and arrived within the window of time scheduled. The following comments apply to both specialists and the services they provided. I can group these comments together because both specialists provided a level of service that can only be classified as exceptional. I was treated with respect. My home was treated with respect. The process that was used was thorough and allowed me the time to express my concerns and questions prior to the specialists beginning their work. All of my concerns were addressed with detailed explanations regarding the related components' purpose, current functioning condition, and potential options to improve effectiveness, efficiency, or remediation of non-functioning components. At the end of the day, I felt as though I had been educated, informed and better prepared to address ongoing maintenance and required repairs. I will now evaluate my options and prioritize my needs. If I need assistance to perform this work, I will call Service Plus. It was clear that this company has instituted a set of Corporate Values and Standardized Processes that each employee is carrying out to the field.

Very well. His diagnosis was spot on, and I did the work myself for considerable savings.

Upon arrival he told me the only way for him to do his job was for him to pull the toilet. He said they never do the drain clean thru the roof vent. He investigated their price for pulling and replacing the toilet. In the meantime it took me 10 minutes to pull the toilet. A few minutes later he gave me the price of $266 to pull the toilet. I told him the toilet was removed by me. He ran the camera down the drain and found the blockage. He then tried to run the snake down the drain but it only went up the roof stack. His final solution was for him to install an outside cleanout. He gave me an estimate of $2747. I paid him the $79 service fee. Later I called other plumbers and will have someone else do the job for much cheaper.

didn't do all the ducts. Appeared to just clean the area about 3 feet into the duct leaving the rest.

It turned out very good. We would recommend them. We contacted them to come because our son was buying a house. The only problem was the on the form that we filled out on the internet, there was only place for 1 address. We put our address down because we were the buying person but the inspection was in a different location. He came here and promptly went to the location where he was supposed to do the work. We were very satisfied with what he did. He came out a couple of days after we purchased the deal.

They came out last May 21st and the service technician came and started his process. Then he told me that all the problems with my air-conditioning and recommended a new system. It wasn't an old air-conditioner. I was discourage because the whole idea for his visit was to sell me a new unit as oppose. He did give me the options of what could be done but each one was more costly than the other. It went from bad to worst as far as the diagnosis. The service that I needed to be accomplished was not finished.

The guy came and did the work. During the inspectoin, he found something wrong with every piece of plumbing in the house. It seemed like he was just after business.

They were misleading in the description. The young man was nice, but he recommended that I pull out a part because it might catch on fire. A few nights later I had to pay another plumber another fee because the pump wasn't working. The other employer informed me it was not handled correctly. The pricing on the pump was a lot more. The other plumber disagreed with the handling

We had a backup in our main sewer drain outside of the home. We called Service Plus and they sent out a tech. He was supposed to arrive at 10, but actually arrived well after 11. The first tech didn't have the right equipment to unblock the main drain, but made an attempt to do so anyway. A second tech was called to come out and unblock the drain. The first tech had the drain camera, the second tech did not have one. After the drain was cleared, we scheduled a follow-up to have the camera sent down the drain to determine the cause of the initial blockage (roots, broken pipe, etc). This is where the story goes downhill, unfortunately. We purchased a service plan and made two appointments for a Saturday a week and a half later. The furnace tech came and all was good. The plumbing tech never showed. They apparently "lost" the appointment. The tech rescheduled for Monday after 5. No show. Apparently the camera guy is off today. No one told us or rescheduled. Unacceptable.

Everything went smoothly. He showed up exactly when expected, did the work quickly, cleaned up and removed the trash. I'm very happy.

The Service Plus representative was very personal, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to meet our needs. We had him look at a variety of plumbing issues and then decided that we'd like to have our old corroded natural gas line to our outside grill replaced so we could use our new grill during late spring/summer. He worked up a quote and said he could install it the SAME DAY! Since I was also interested in a Heating/Cooling maintenance plan, he worked up a discounted price for an annual HVAC maintenance plan (including water heater flush) and the gas piping installation. I felt that the total price was very reasonable, especially given immediate same day installation. He completed the work quickly and to our specifications. The new gas line and shut off valve look and work great and has easy access to/from our grill. We were very impressed with the service overall and will use Service Plus again in the future.

I purchased this deal with the anticipation of replacing a leaking water heater. Between the time I called Service Plus to schedule an appt for an estimate I was able to repair the water heater myself. I also had a two year old kitchen faucet that needed replaced due to low water pressure and the technician stated if I bought one they would replace it. I asked what the price would be so I could subtract it from the value of my coupon and he stated $150. I asked him how long would the repair take and he stated less than 30 minutes. I could have done the job myself but due to an injury I was not able to get on the floor under the cabinet. I called several other plumbers to ask their price to replace a kitchen faucet and the highest price I was quoted was $75. Since I had already paid the $66 for the deal I felt like I had to use it for something, especially since it was close to or beyond the expiration date. With their price of $150 for replacing a faucet I knew there was nothing else, plumbing wise, that I could get for the value of $265. If replacing a faucet, which I consider a fairly easy job, was $150 I knew that anything else they did, especially something that may take a little skill such as replacing a water heater, was way beyond what I could afford. So I called them and scheduled them to come and replace my faucet. I was not here but my husband informed me they were here less than 30 minutes. I had even emptied the cabinets, washed the cabinet, and did everything I could to make the job easier for the technician. I would have thought he might come down a little on his price then but he did not. It really would not have mattered considering their prices where so high anyway. The technician did a good job and was polite my husband said. The kitchen faucet now has pressure and works wonderfully. But due to their prices I will never use Service Plus again and have told and will continue to tell anyone I know that has any need for any home repairs.

We had an appointment set for Friday 10/25/13 between 8 AM and 12 PM. They did not show up so I called them to see where the the provider was. They explained that they would be able to come later that day. We told them that we had some other things to do, so they scheduled something for today 10/26. The service provider called explaining that he would be late today. We ended up just telling him that we could not be waiting around for him all day and we told him we were going to cancel.

They came out and tuned up my A/C. They did my furnace as well.

Nothing happened...we didn't use them

To clean the main sewer pipe the plumber had to break the clean-out drain access cap. The cap was obviously agreed to be replaced after drain had been cleaned. Unlike prior cleaning which took almost two hours this cleaning to about 15 minutes. The plumber had snaked the pipe and pulled out roots which had infiltrated the integrity of the sewer line. The plumber indicated that I would have to set another appointment to have video cam run in pipe.An appointment was set for the video but the plumber did not keep the appointment even though I had call the day of the appointment to confirm the agreed upon service. The plumber also did not have the replacement clean-out cap at time of service and failed to deliver replacement for almost 4 MONTHS ! When plumber finally came out to replace cap in October I showed him pictures of where drain had backed up and flowed out onto basement floor. I asked to have drain snaked again thinking that the job might have been incomplete the first and second time. I was told that they would not honor their warranty and clean drain again because they feared the pipe might collapse. However, they would do it if I paid another $175! Of course I never received the VIDEO INSPECTION that was part of the original deal.

after using snake on section of drain pipe, I was inform that the main sewer line had excessive slug and they could not perform the second part of Angie big deal agreement to run video camera through line and see internal condition of pipe. also, plumber identified the sewer clean-out access which was at other end of basement floor and stated that next cleaning should run through this point. Fair rating reflects although this was an Angie List BIG DEAL, I did not receive the agreed upon service. Important: read following review where company again failed to provide agree upon service and could not find time to replace clean-out cover.

Dave replaced our filter, tested the thermostat and inspected all furnace parts. He also checked the basement for gas leaks and carbon dioxide. He recommended we purchase carbon dioxide alarms for all levels of our house. At the end of the service call, he presented me with a nice heavy cardboard 2-pocket folder. It has the company logo on the outside, the company's written guarantee on the inside. Also enclosed were a copy of our tune-up check list, a copy of our service call summary, his business card and a nice pad of scrap paper for notes. We've done business with Service Plus for 3 years and find no reason to look for another company for our furnace and air-conditioning services.

They were prompt on the first day. He cleaned the sewer drain from the clean-out to the street pipe. There was very little to clean out. He cleaned up completely. They arrived at the end of the time period on the second day. Two men brought the camera unit in, placed it in the sewer drain, and showed me the condition of the entire pipe. There conclusion was that it was in very good condition for an old 6 inch clay pipe. No service was needed to repair any part of the pipe. Again, the clean-up was complete. All service providers were pleasant and clean. Great job!
