Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

All went well. The technician provided possible options for the future when it is time to replace my furnace and a/c unit but was nto pushy.

They were prompt. I didn't have to wait a long time to have them come out.

It went well, and other than the price, was painless and professional--noting that the price was still fair market price for what we purchased

This company's service and responsiveness are great. The serviceman did a good job. However, they charged over 3 times as much as another company did who did a better job when replacing our other spigot. Service Plus also used inferior parts. The employees I give an A+, super helpful. The company gets an F for using poor parts and charging WAY too much (which even the serviceman admitted).

I used Service Plus about a year ago to clean my main line, and was pleased with the results so when the line backed up again 11 months later I called them back (and was happy to see they had an Angie's List deal!). Scheduling staff was courteous and scheduled me quickly. Ryan, the technician was very nice and respectful of my home. Got the line clean. A week later Ronnie came out to camera the line. Still saw a good amount of roots in the line, but was told that was normal. Ronnie spent a lot of time explaining everything, locating my sewer line and answering questions. Overall recommendation was to pipe burst the line for $9,000 (was told excavation would cost around $15,000). We decided to just clean out the line every year. One month later the line backed up again. Called Service Plus and they told me it would be $79 to come out; they were there 45 minutes after I called. Ryan came out again, couldn't get the cleaner more than 10 ft in and was told the line had collapsed and we needed to pipe burst. After getting several other estimates from companies I found out 1) the line was not collapsed and 2) the overall consensus was that Ryan should have been able to get the line cleaned out. When Service Plus called to follow up on my experience (I was impressed with that!) I explained everything and they agreed to refund me the money. I had another company come out and they were able to clear my line in 30 minutes, pulling out a lot of roots (it was $150). I'm torn because I think the company is good, they were BY FAR the most responsive and the people were nice. But I think the technician is still learning and Ronnie employed sales tactics that made me not want to trust or use them again. If my line backs up again in under 3 months, I will come back and amend my review, but I think (hope) that my line will stay clean longer this time.

Fixed leaking faucet which was more involved

The service technician was nice, every respectful of our home put shoe covers on before entering. Thoroughly explained everything after inspection. I have used Service plus many times over the years and could not be happier.

It was satisfactory. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount.

I bought a big deal and thought they were going to run a snake in the main line with a video. Instead because my kitchen sink was the problem he ran |a sink drain and unclogged what may have been lint. |He said the main line would not have been the problem for this. |The cost to do the sink line using the big deal was cheaper than if I had paid a plumber to come out. However, I would still have like to have had the main line cleaned out and video done. He advised having the bushes cut back so a main sewer cleaner could get to the cleanout. I have since done that and next time they run this I will probably get another big deal.

The only criticism I have was that some of the dirty cleaning cloths were left behind. Otherwise, I very much liked the service guy's professionalism and courtesy, and the ducts were nice and clean. | |I also LOVED that the company sent an email ahead of time with the name and photo of the service guy who would be doing the work -- so I knew who would be coming to my door! Nice touch.

they tried to make excuse why thy couldnt come out. moreover, why they could not except the certificate. | |i will not recommend this provider.

The service representative came on time. He was very courteous and respectful. He answered all our questions about plumbing issues and from that, we understood he should be the best service Rep to fix any plumbing problems in the house.

Used the new SnapFix Angie's List app to buy a annual HVAC contact. Worked great!

I started using Service Plus about a year ago, and have had them repair plumbing issues as well as the annual heating/air conditioner tune up. Each time of service, the individual has been prompt, professional, friendly and courteous. They call when on their way, arrive when they say, do what they say they'll do, explain any findings in a way that I can understand, and follow up afterwards to make sure I'm happy with the service. Very very high level of service every time. Thanks!

Would like my payment returned immediately. Made appointment w these guys and they never showed up and have never heard from them since. Some guy called from co saying company usually only does video after customer has sewer pipes cleaned. But he did not cancel my appt and he never called Again. Will not use them again.

I was basically shell shocked! So I called another plumber to get a second opinion. They came out, assessed the problem and found a dry drain in the laundry room. He added a quart of water to fill the trap and the smell dissipated immediately. After airing out the kitchen for about 5 minutes the smell was gone. So, how does I assess this situation. I know that Service Plus dropped the ball and for so highly rated a company to miss a simple dry drain is ridiculous. I lost 4 hours of my time plus the cost of the coupon and the additional cost of the second plumber because of a missed diagnosis of a simple problem. The next time I need a plumber, you can be sure I will not call Service plus, but the company who solved the problem in 10 minutes. A NOTE to Angie's List: Subject Dry Drain Trap. It would be helpful to pass on a tip to your subscribers regarding this. I was told I had an unused drain and I should try to keep moisture in the trap to keep sewer gasses from getting through. I'm sure you can do a great job in passing on the message. It would have been helpful to me.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. He was on time, he was punctual. There were no surprises. It was just very straightforward as advertised. He didn't come out and say we needed a new furnace. He didn't try to sell us a $900 filter or something. The price was great.

Needed to have the toilets checked and one of them needed to be tightened. The service person showed up on time and gave a list of options from fixing to replacing. He was professional and efficient.

They came on time and were very professional. Solved the problem quickly. I was lucky to have bought a Big Deal that included a coupon. The price was very high for a simple fix. I would use them again only with a coupon.

The first guy I had botched the job and told me i had to buy this $104 contraption for my toilet, so i did. I wasn't happy about the service, so i called the manager and he came to my house. He realized the first guy did a shotty job, so he sent a third guy to do the actual inspection I paid for. The response form the compsny was great and the first guy never made it past his 90 trial period with the company, but it was still a waste of time to have three appointments and i was down the $104 to fix my toilet. The last appointment told me i had to replace the toilet, I did with another company.

It wasn't that good. I used them within a month of purchasing the deal and they didn't charge me anything extra. I didn't really care for the attitude of the repairman. I let them know that I had a problem with his attitude and they didn't do anything about it.

Went well as expected. Technician was very prfessional.

plumber was very professional, explained what was done, talked with office about price. Came out when scheduled. Also got an estimate for a couple other plumbing services while he was here.

James and Sean were fantastic. Very thorough, explained everything and did repairs on the spot. Best plumbing service I have ever had! Will definitely use again.
