Easy to purchase the Big Deal online. Provider was responsive once deal was purchased, but person at answering service they use on a Saturday was a poor communicator and scheduled me for the wrong service. After much phone tag, the provider was still able to send a technician within the 4-hour window of time. Once technician arrived, however, he told me that the service the coupon was for (water heater flushing) wasn't recommended for older units and that it could actually damage it. While I appreciated his honesty, I sent him back to his office without completing any work. The service provider missed a communication opportunity to educate the customer during the scheduling process to inform them of the proper application for this work and Angie's List missed an opportunity by omitting applicability information in their ad. Overall, the provider was honest and professional, but I still wasted 4 hours of my time.

It went very well. The work was scheduled quickly and easily. He took a look at the problem and gave me a few options for resolving it. He got it fixed and cleaned up. It was very nice.

The serviceman was prompt and very nice. He explained that it is not recommended to flush a water heater over 3 years old that has not been flushed before, and the heater in question is 3 1/2 years old. He offered to inspect other things, but the reason for the Big Deal was to get the water heater flushed which is why I signed up. The ad did not mention age of the water heater.

They were great. The guy came out and checked all of my plumbing, water, bathtub everything. I really wanted new toilets and he went ahead and got them. I love the new toilets. I thought that was a bit pricey but my water bill has gone down .

Great! Jonathan showed up right on time, looked at the toilet, fixed what he thought was wrong, which was only part of the problem, then replace the flapper. Flapper didn't fit properly so he had to make a run to town to get one that worked. All this in a day and with a smile on his face. Great job! I would have been willing to wait until they were back in this area, to save them the gas, but his boss said to finish the job. He did, and this customer is "over the top" happy.

The work performed by the workers was for the most part very professional. The scheduling of those workers was very poor. This project started October 9, 2013 and finished on November 4, 2013. That is a span of 27 days. They worked on only 9 of those days. I don't know if it was a scheduling problem or a lack of qualified workers. The project manager/estimator would not take my phone calls or respond to his voice mail. Such behavior is total unacceptable. We couldn't get the color of tub/sink/toilet we wanted and had to accept a color that was supposed to be about the same but wasn't. The individual they hired to hang the drywall and paint was excellent. ......Very poor experience.

They were good. Other than they got water on the carpet. They came out right away and were very responsive. They did the plumbing for the toilet. We did purchase more work from them. We ended up purchasing a new toilet from them. They came out with in three or four days. They did a good job and with the coupon, it was a good price. He did say that the parts were old, but until it actually broke down there was no need to replace it. I liked that and they were not trying to hustle me. They did what they said and they did not panic me into buying their services.

We had called several companies and received price quotes for installation from $200-450.00. We noticed the Angie's list coupon for $100.00 dollars off from Service plus and their A rating. After speaking to them on the phone, we were impressed with their knowledge of the faucet and their willingness to accommodate our schedule. The appointment was made, and James called beforehand to let me know that he was leaving and would arrive in 30 minutes. He did, and put booties on his shoes before entering. He assessed the job, quoted a price and then went ahead with the installation. He was efficient, neat, and the installation took about a half hour. He went to his van, and came back with a final bill. With our Angie's list coupon, the entire installation of a new faucet cost only $89.00. I was really surprised and pleased, and we would absolutely use them again for all my plumbing needs.

They quoted a price between $100 and $200 and when they came today they said $388. I am requesting a refund of the deal because of the jump in price.

We came home from vacation last night only to discover our hot water heater had flooded while we were out of town. Called several plumbers desperately trying to get someone to come ASAP (it was after hours at that point). Service Plus sent Dean out first thing this morning. After checking into the warranty for us (which was unfortunately expired), Dean brought in a replacement and installed it quickly. He was competent, polite, and professional. We'd definitely use him again.

The Service Plus employees explained the process in detail. They were also polite, punctual, and completed the job in a timely manner.

The tech was awesome. My appointment was at 8am. He called me to confirm at 7:40am and arrived right on time. He was very professional and nice. He surveyed the situation and provided me three options. He was in and out in about 2 1/2 hrs.

This is the third time I've used Service Plus at the same residence. The first time was just to dewinterize. The last time was actually two visits. First to identify the problem. James came out and found the issue and gave me two options for fixing it. He did not charge me for the visit, which I thought was very nice. I then called to schedule the repair later. James was the same person came back to fix it. I have been very impressed with the repairmen at Service Plus. They are very nice and professional. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them for my plumbing and hvac needs.

The serviceman arrived on time as scheduled. He was very professional and polite. First, he flushed out the water heater and let me know that everything was working well. Next, he checked all the plumbing in the house and gave me an evaluation of it. He completed all the services in a professional and timely manner.

Fantastic experience! We had water leak all over our floor due to water leaking out from piping under our sink connecting to the drain and our dishwasher. It was the day before Thanksgiving, so needless to say being able to use our sink was important. Service Plus was able to come out the same day we called and the technician James was great. Couldn't be happier with the experience and the fact that they were able to come out on such short notice and completely resolve the issue was a major help. Would give my highest recommendation.

It went fine and they did a good job. We bought one of the deals but it still cost more to do this simple job.

Called Service Plus on Monday 11-25 to schedule a service call for a leaking water heater. Receptionist was prompt, friendly and got all the important details. Apologized that no technician was available that day, but one could be out Tuesday (11-26) between 1 PM and 5 PM. I was told the technician would call approximately 30 minutes before arrival. The technician called at approximately 2:30 PM on 11-26 and was on site within 20 minutes. He determined that the tank had failed and that we had the option of replacing the entire water heater or replacing just the tank. He gave us prices for unit of same size (40 gal.) or larger (50 gal.) with varying warrantee lengths. The prices quoted ran from about $1200 to $1800 (varying by size and length of warrantee). There was still 1 year of the warrantee on the failed unit so the parts cost for the tank replacement would be covered. We chose that option. The quoted price was $895.00 including a thermal expansion tank. He advised adding that since thermal expansion was the greatest contributor to tank failure. He let us know that since it was a replacement he would have to return to the shop for the tank and do the install on 11-27. He arrived at 1 PM on 11-27 and after reviewing what he was going to do, got straight to work. While the old tank was draining he placed tarps down on the floor and then moved the new tank into the basement. He was not able to find a main shut off valve in the house (I have not been able to either) so shut off at the outside main. There was still some trickle from the cold line in with the valve shut, so he replaced it with a ball valve. The rest of the replacement went smoothly. He did notice corrosion on the saddle valve for the furnace humidifier so replaced that for no charge (after asking permission). After completing the replacement and turning on the water he waited until we could verify the unit was working properly. He explained that replacing the tank didn't extend the warrantee on the unit (we would only have the remaining time). He cleaned up the work area and we settled the bill. I had an Angie's List coupon for $100, so the total was $785.00. The technician was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He also offered his opinion on which of the options he would choose if it were his home. On the whole it was a very positive experience. I would certainly recommend Service Plus for this time of service.
