Prices quoted ranged from $380 to $3,000 - for the many "possible solutions". In the end, The ANGIE's Big Deal could only be used for the service call that provided "possible fixes". | |We called another company and the unit was repaired for $100. The unit is fine and operated perfectly.

+ 0 moreThe prior owner did some "custom" plumbing between the dishwasher, kitchen sink and a reverse osmosis water treatment system under the kitchen cabinets, which prevented us from being able to install our new dishwasher. We called Service Plus and they were willing to come out the same day (a Friday). We opted for the following Monday. the plumber showed up well within the established window. The job took just about 6 hours to complete.

+ -1 moreThe faucets were difficult to work with because of years of hard water exposure. But the plumber got everything fixed, and it is working fine. He also informed us about installing a water softener, and what that would involve.
Description of Work: Service Plus had previously inspected our house for all plumbing. They had left a detailed report of what needed to be fixed. This call was to fix a bathroom sink, including the faucets that were leaking, and to replace some of the pipe under the sink.

+ -1 more"Service Plus" instead should be called "Service Minus." On 12/21, I requested a repairmen to come look at my broken furnace. They said someone would call me around 8 a.m. on 12/22. At 3 p.m. on 12/22 (seven hours late), no one had called yet, so I called them again. Again they said that someone would call me. By this point, my wife was huddled by the fireplace and wearing a scarf and gloves indoors. By 5 p.m. no one had called yet, and in the meantime, I had fixed the furnace myself through researching the problem on the internet. This company did not contact me back and therefore no service was provided.
Description of Work: Nothing; they did not contact me back, ever after I had called them twice.

+ -1 moreWe greatly appreciated his update to us as he removed the toilet to inform us of a previous homeowners self fix which had caused the problem in the first place. He also made repairs to parts not included in our original estimate due to issues noticed upon installation. We were so thankful the damage was not worse and their hours and prices allowed us to fix the problem on a Sunday days before Christmas.
Description of Work: We had water leaking from our ceiling into our kitchen from our second story bathroom following a house guest's shower on a Sunday morning. The receptionist was a bit slow on his response to questions and note taking but informed us a technician would call us back as soon as possible. Within 30-45 minutes we received a call from the on call plumbing technician who was very prompt in his drive. James assessed the situation quickly asking key questions to diagnose the issue. Our leaking ceiling was due to a toilet wax seal. We also had him quote while he was here replacing a shut off valve we had had problems with in the past. He wrote up two estimates to include just one or both fixes. Both were very reasonable prices so we had him do both.

On the phone with scheduler, she informed me that they could not flush the water heater due to the fact that it was over 3 years old. They will not perform a flush on equipment older than 3 years. This was not clear in the BIG DEAL offer when I purchased it. Therefore, I would like a refund.

+ -1 moreI'm in the wrong business if I could charge $49 to do the same thing. |He told us we had to replace our toilets which work just fine. It is a water pressure issue that we have, not a ceramic bowl issue.

I scheduled and the guy called to say he was going to be coming to my home later and it was going to be too late because I have kids. He did this again on a Saturday and said he would come on a Sunday and he never showed up. They sent a different guy on the actual visit and the inspection was okay. Everyone was nice to speak with but Brandon was not good at keeping an appointment. The lady in the office was very nice when I mentioned Brandon did not show up she mentioned she would have the district manager call but I never received any follow up.
Description of Work: This was a Big Deal for a toilet tune-up. He did do a plumbing inspection and he did clear a drain for us. He did this for the trouble that we had as it was suppose to just be a visual inspection.

I decided on this company because of their professionalism, and the fact that the serviceman did not try to push this product (or additional ones) on me. They were able to schedule a day shortly after I called their office, and it was completed in a good amount of time and Jonathon cleaned up the area afterwards.

I appreciate the fact that Service Plus had full days scheduled all week, but they were able to work me into the schedule to check my kitchen drain. It was fully clogged. James K. came out, we discussed the problem in detail. He began working to clear it and provided me with an update during the progress. After some time, he was able to find & remove the clog. He gave me some tips to maintaining it.
