Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

It turned out just fine. It turned out that the issue that we had ended up being a pretty minor issue but the guy was really nice and he got it taken care of pretty quick. We thought he was quite nice and knowledgeable. we appreciated that they got out here so quickly and he did know what he was doing enough to take care of it. They even called me back to see if I was happy. They were very professional.

The service turned out fine. They were on time, and they cleaned up after themselves.

Service Plus came out the day after I called during the big snow and deep freeze. We had heat, just not much of it. I told them it wasn't urgent, but they came out ASAP. Curtis adjusted the damper and went over some options we would have for a more permanent fix. He drew a diagram explaining air flow in the furnace that, to someone like us, was worth the service call alone. We've always been happy with Service Plus. Our newly married daughter and husband used them for a new AC as did some other friends. They were happy, too.

The service provided was fine. I would recommend them and I would give them a high rating.

Amazingly, they were able to make it out only 2 days after I called. With all the frozen pipes, I was very surprised. They came out on a Saturday and had it fixed in very short order. We have used them many times for heating and air and found their plumbing service just as good.

The service call went very well. Provider wanted to come out to see the problem first hand in order to give a better, more accurate assessment than could be made from the pictures I had submitted. I'm glad they did. Technician was very professional and thorough as we talked about the problem I have been having, the possible causes and solutions. Technician was very knowledgeable and was very helpful in determining the next best steps that should be taken. We discussed some other issues and I was able to ask about some things I have been curious about with hot water heaters and water softeners even though that was not reason he came out. I also found out about the annual plan that this provider offers but it was not pushed on me, it came up in discussion. For the price and for the things I don't do and I know I should, I am definitely considering adding that service. I found this information out due to the time the technician was willing to spend at the house talking about issues. He wasn't rushed or hurried. I have already taken the next steps that were discussed when he was on the call. I absolutely recommend Service Plus heating and cooling and won't hesitate to call them again.

It was perfect. Two service people arrived right on time. They were very friendly and thorough. They answered all my questions and used terms that I could clearly understand. They found several items in the house and were honest about what they would do to fix them and what they thought I could do myself. They also made some minor repairs (e.g. fixed a loose sink trap) immediately. It should be noted that the location of my sump pump is extremely tight and they never complained or moved anything to gain access, they just worked around it. I have already recommended them to some neighbors. It was just an overall positive experience.

The man that came out was fine. My problem lies in the fact that he was unable to complete the work that needed to be done, so the money I spent was for nothing. I have a sump pump line that is clogged. I called the company, explained to them what the problem was and that I had a clog in my 1-1/2" sump line that needed to be cleared. I purchased a coupon through Angie's List that was exactly for this type of service. Before I purchased the service, I called the company to make sure this would apply to the service I needed. They said it would work fine. When the workman came out, he was supposed to run a camera down the line to see the problem and then clean out the line with his snake. He tried to get the camera down the line, but it would not make the 90 degree turn in the 1-1/2" line, which I told them I had originally. So, they were unable to run the camera to find the clog. Secondly, he said that because it was a sump pump line, that his mechanical snake would chew through the line once it got to the larger black tubing that he said sump lines usually change to at some point away from the house. He then used a hand snake to clear the line for 25' but that did not clear the problem, so I ended up with no solution to my issue. He then suggested I use a company that could use a water jet propulsion system to clear the clog. Again, the problem I have is that I told the company what the problem was, and so they knew I had a sump line that was 1-1/2" thick. They should have said that their equipment would be a problem up front and would not be able to complete the work without damaging the piping he believes to be at my house/yard. Bottom line, they did not perform the service needed for my situation.

They were really good. They were prompt and pleasant. They came on time. They did a good job. It was a big deal purchase. I didn’t spend any more than that.

I wish I could say perfectly. Indy had just had those -37 degree temps and snow dump, and it would seem that there were a alot of people in the same situation as me. I had called in at 730am and didn't get a call back until around 1130am to say that they couldn't get there same day. Notice this late didnt leave me an opportunity to try to get someone out there the same day. I asked to speak to the manager about the customer service, he apologized said that because of the weather and volume of customers they were having trouble keeping up. He promised that this was not the norm. They came the next day first thing, and he was very knowledgeable. He quickly assessed the situation, gave me a quote and was even quicker in the repairs. I would recommend them.

This was a good big deal. I had no issues with their service. I like that he had the parts already available to do the work. He was able to get it done within the initial visit.

In the process of checking and cleaning the furnace, he found a problem with the blower motor. He recommended I have the part replaced. He priced the repair two (2) different ways and explained the differences. I decided to delay the repair until the end of the winter season which may have not been such a great conclusion on my part. However, I have not had any problems with the blower yet. The gentleman that did the work was courteous and pretty good at explaining what he was doing. He also explained that I was using the wrong type of humidifier filter which my previous company did not. The replacement filter was $50.00 and was definitely needed. I also signed a Maintenance Agreement with the Company ($189.00). This is standard for me, but my previous company has not been responsive lately.

I am a premium contract customer of Service Plus. On 1/7 at the height of the snow emergency my daughter lost heat at her house. I called Service Plus for help. I could only get the answering service at both locations due to the fact that all available employees were out providing service. I went on-line about 3 pm and asked for help at my daughter's house. Further I asked for my favorite technician (Devin) if that was possible. I did not expect to get service until the next day which would been acceptable as my daughter had three electic heaters to tide her and her family over. In about 1 1/2 hours I received a telephone call from Service Plus telling me that Devin would be at my daughter's house shortly. He arrived and while he did not have the specific part he needed to fix the machine he "jerry rigged" the system in such a way as to provide some heat until the next day. On 1/8 technician Kurtis arrived at my daughter's house, fixed the furnace problem as well as fixing a hot water heater problem that occurred. In addition my daughter received a 10 % discount because I used the Service Plus website to ask for the service call. My daughter was extremely thankful for the professionalism and thoughtfulness of Devin and Kurtis. This dedication to duty is why I maintain a contract with Service Plus. I pay $15.95 per month for my contact but I see that Angie's List members can get the same deal now for $99 per year. This is a heck of a deal and I recommend this to all members. Service Plus is a company you can trust especially when you are in need. It does not get any better then that.

After being told by another company that a very expensive service was needed, our technician at Service Plus simply unblocked a roof vent and the furnace is now working fine. We were told that this is a common problem with high-efficiency furnaces. The technician was polite, professional and trustworthy. I signed a 1-service agreement as a result of my great service and would recommend this company for HVAC service.

First time using this company, and we used Angies coupon. They performed routine HVAC maintenance on our 2 heat pumps in Spring 2013 and were the only company (of several we have used through the years) that didn't give us a sales pitch for additional expensive optional services. We did purchase their maintenance plan for HVAC and plumbing, at a very reasonable price. We then used them Fall 2013 to find and seal a leak in a water pipe, and were very impressed by the plumber and his work. Both the HVAC tech and the plumber took plenty of time to explain things, and again, never tried to sell us extra sevices.

Noticed water was not soft...quickly diagnosed and corrected problems along with offering long term solutions. Tech was great and service was super fast. I used the new Snapfix app and it was a breeze.

My furnace went out the evening before one of Indiana's coldest days in history. We were expecting temperatures of -15. I called several companies and all told me a technician would call me back "soon". I stayed in my house all night waiting for someone to call. By morning I was freezing, the house was 40 degrees and I was losing my mind. Someone from Service Plus called me back at 6:30am. I actually cried when she told me someone would be at my house soon. The technician showed up before 8am, fixed my furnace quickly and I had heat running again. He was so nice and even showed me several things in my house he thought I should know (main water valve, gas valve, etc), I am so grateful to him for getting here quickly, fixing the problem and for teaching me a few things about my house that I should have known anyway! The charge for the service was very reasonable! I will recommend Service Plus to all my friends!

At 5:00 on 1/5 (middle of sub freezing weather after 13 inches of snow) our water stopped working. Obviously this was an urgent issue as we couldn't leave the house do to the snow/ice/cold. I called Service Plus and they came out first thing the next morning. Determined it was a faulty switch on our well pump. Determined that this was due to the well tank being water logged and wearing out the switch faster. Replaced the switch, which gave us water and gave us a quote to come back and replace the well tank. The plumber that was sent, called in the morning letting me know that he was 30 mins away and arrived when scheduled. Very professional and thorough. Will definitely use again.
