Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

They tuned up my mom's AC unit and looked at some plumbing work that she might have needed.

I woke up to a house that was 50 degrees. I scheduled an emergency appointment with Service Plus and another major provider, but Service Plus was here in only a couple hours. Dave was super professional and helped me identify why my furnace was overheating, and what options I had to fix and improve it. When discussing options, he was never pushy, nor did he act like a salesman. I will absolutely be calling Service Plus anytime I have HVAC or plumbing needs.

Everything was fine. They were very forthcoming and helpful with giving us suggestions. They found a couple a minor plumbing problems but they took care of those.

The plumber was courteous and respectful as well as efficient and skilled.

The service was fine. Scheduling was fine and they were able to come out shortly after I had purchased the deal. Technician was very knowledgeable. They diagnosed some things for me but overall, I did not find the appointment very helpful.

I emailed them, they called and we set up an appointment. They showed up on time, performed the inspection we had agreed upon and gave their recommendations. I got a great deal to have my 22 yr old unit cleaned and inspected. Luckily at this time I have no cracks or carbon monoxide leakage, but I now know where to go when its time to replace it.

I wanted to get a drain cleaned and did not realize that this deal did not fit my needs until I spoke with the service provider. I have chosen a refund from Angie's List.

Jonathan and Ronnie were both very professional and knowledgeable. They came out to inspect the drainage line, and showed me where the blockage was. They came out the very next day and replaced the line. We were very pleased with the work this company did, and will definitely use them in the future.

|2. Confirmed appointment via web. No call, no show at appointed time. |3. Sent question via web why they didn't show or call. Received phone call from company saying that no one had followed through and set the service call up for their service men. Time was rescheduled for following day. |4. Two service men arrived, on time, the following day to perform the service. After a very short time, considering the work to be performed, I was approached and told that I have major problems with the furnace to include a) a front heat exchanger plate that was cracked in half b)heat exchanger rivets that were busted and c) a failing inducer assembly. I knew of the inducer problem but not the other problems. I was told the furnace was in such a condition that they could not nor would not re-fire the furnace due to the potential carbon monoxide leaks. |5. I was quoted a price to repair or replace the furnace that was within $33.00 of each other. Since it was during a very cold spell one would normally say replace the furnace. I like more than one opinion so I passed on both choices and called and paid for someone else to look at the unit and to give me their opinion. |6. The other company (who has camera ability) came out inspected the unit and declared that yes the unit was old, yes the inducer needed replaced yes it would be beneficial to replace the unit with a more efficient one but found no problems with the heat exchanger or its rivets and could find no reason or immediate danger to running the furnace. |Conclusion: I can understand differences of opinions on points of thought. I can not understand differences of opinion on concrete facts such as an object being broken and unserviceable or in working order. As a senior citizen and former Fortune 500 manager I am more than aware of the importance of being able to believe in a company and it's employees. Having said that I can not believe in this company or what it's employees say. I personally can not and would not recommend this company based on my experiences.

Our sewage pump went out on the evening of 02/07 while doing laundry and it flooded our laundry room and nearby bathroom. After checking on Angie's List my husband called Service Plus on Saturday morning. They said a technician would be out Monday morning at 8:00. The technician was prompt, friendly and checked out the problem. He said our pump needed to be replaced which we already kind of knew since it was close to 25 years old. He gave us the option of installing a pump which he would supply which would cost close to $1200.00 or we could go out and purchase one and he would still install it. My husband chose to go out and he purchased one from a home improvement store, brought it home, and the technician installed it. We thought it was great the the technician gave us this option because it did save us some money. He also installed a quiet check valve on the pump which was very different from the old one because it was very loud. Together the installation and the pump cost us about $700.00. We would definitely call Service Plus for any other future problems.

We heard some strange sounds from our furnace over a 24 hour period. Kevin from Service Plus determined that we were in need of a new heat inducer. He also noted that our blower would be going out soon due to the amount of amps it was pulling each time it started. Our furnace is 13.5 years old. Kevin gave the pricing of an inducer, blower and new furnace. I really liked that I did not feel he was "selling" me. He even called my husband to go through the situation, again allowing US to make the decision and not be pressured into something. We chose to go with a new furnace and were very pleased that the installers were able to instal the unit that afternoon. Devin and Dakota installed our unit and did a great job. No mess afterwards and Devin took the time to answer all of our questions.

The service was very good. They looked at the heating system and said it was fine. It is a newer unit. They also gave me some suggestions on how to get my water heater fixed.

My experience with them went okay. It wound up being $150 because they said I needed some parts. They provided the parts. The service was alright. It was a part that I was not sure if I needed and they just told me that I need it. The service people were very polite. My correspondence with the company to have everything set up was fine.

He provided excellent service. They did a good job with the installation. We were happy with the service they provided. They did a good job of taking the old parts away and I would recommend them for furnace work, they do plumbing work as well and we have not needed that yet.

I saw that Service Plus had a great grade with tons of reviews on Angie's List, so I called them to come out and look at why my house had almost zero hot water pressure (cold was fine). I had to change our service date several times due to work conflicts, and they were always very very nice and flexible on the phone. Finally they did come out on February 14, 2014. The technician was able to quickly assess the issue and though that it was mostly likely a buildup of sediment in the hot water valve. I signed off on the repair, and all was done in about the span of one hour. The fee for coming out was $79, and for an additional $20, they will come out three times a year to inspect heating, cooling, and plumbing (one visit each) and you also get discounts on repairs/parts. I ended up paying the extra $20, but there was also a $100 dollar coupon here on Angie's List, so basically that whole thing was taken care of and all I had to pay for was the repair itself, which was $238. The technician was VERY nice, the hot water pressure is amazing now, and he also gave me some education about the possibilities of a water softener and how it might help. I will definitely use this company again - I was very happy with the service in all aspects.

It worked out fine. They did it in a timely fashion. So far it has been working fine. They were very efficient and they explained all their work. The price was great for what they had to do. They were very professional.

My condenser stopped. I had them come out but then it began working while they were there. He checked it all out and did inform me that I would be needing a new switch.

I wasn’t there when they did the job, but my gutters were clean after they were here.

The provide absolutely the most excellent service. They've done many jobs for me. I love their service guys, they're all great guys. They are very professional and nice guys. I would trust them to do anything at my house.
