Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

The service we received was superior! The plumber was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He completely resolved the issue and made our kitchen plumbing even better than it was before the specific problem occurred. Additionally, Service Plus was able to get someone to our house on the same day that I called. We will certainly be using Service Plus again for all of our plumbing and HVAC needs. Thank you for a job well done!

It turned out good. Everything was exactly what we needed. They did fine. Everything they did, they fixed it. I can't think of any dislikes for them. We bought the faucet ahead of time. The work was fine. Everything has been good ever since with it. I would recommend them. They did what we asked them to do. The price was okay.

I already purchased a faucet. We made arrangements for them to come the week before Thanksgiving. The gentleman came out and told us they couldn't do it. It wasn't the right faucet. We had a question about the refrigerator. He said that it's not something they do and we'll need check with someone from the refrigerator company. They left. I went in to the hardware store and they said that I needed a $5 piece of plug and it will be fine. I called them and we scheduled them to come out. They came out and they used the same faucet. Their people came out and installed it. The bill was ungodly high. They charged by the trip but not by the type of service. For a faucet that I already purchased for $170, the whole process to get that installed ended up costing me over $500. I called them and I complained because the gentleman who came the first time around had an attitude, they told me that that guy wasn't with them anymore. The gentleman explained that they charged differently than any other plumber I've had come out to my home, who charge by the job or the hour. I was really irritated. He ended up costing us a small gift card to a coffee shop and a couple of other small things. Nothing that actually impacted the service or the charge that we were charged. The only good thing about them is the girl I spoke to on the phone. I would advise other members to make sure that they're very clear about what the cost is going to be upfront. That was part of the reason I was upset. The person who scheduled the service didn't tell me about the way they charged. The gentleman I spoke to told me that there are a number of plumbers in the area that charge the way they do. My advice is just to make sure that you are very aware of how they charge for their services.

technician scheduled for 8:00 AM, didn't show up or call by 9. Called customer service, waited an additional 10 minutes after being told that he was on his way, then told them to cancel my appointment.

I had a toilet that needed worked on. He did a good job and was right on time. He did have to make a trip to get a part, so the repair took about an hour.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It was okay. The people that came out were fine.

They came out very quickly for the emergency call. We had them scheduled to come out and do the work and as soon as we got back from our vacation, they came and did the work. They kept the work area very clean and scoped all our drain lines.

It went fine. There wasn't much to it, it was good for $39. He found the reason why we were having bad water pressure and he didn't resolve it because we didn't ask him to. But that was the main reason we called him and he did find that. So that was great! They came right out, so that was good too. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount.

The technician was very friendly and knowledgeable. He went straight to work and finished quickly. I think it was an easy job but he took care of it and asked it others needed adjustment as well.

He did the best he could, but his capability was not what we expected or needed. I consider this the fault of the dispatcher/customer service person I initially talked to on the phone and who set up the appointment.

Our furnace had not been working due to a blower malfunction. We purchased the $40 deal with Angie's List for Service Plus. Our water heater was also leaking at the time so I asked if both could be included in the estimate. The "salesman" said they did it all so he would work out a deal and see what he could come up with as far as a price. I left him in the basement of our 7 year old home as I thought he was going to inspect further to assess the damage of repair as he stated he could fix anything if it was broken. He came back up a few minutes later and said he was going to his truck to "work up something!" He came back with 4 options, 1 to replace the furnace ($5,507), 2 rebuild it ($4,375), 3 new blower with power vent ($3,214) and last but not least the actual quote for the new motor, which is what was wrong with it ($1,271). No quote for the water heater and a total waste of $40. I took his estimate and called one of the bigger named companies we used before, Mr. Quik, and they replaced the motor for $300 and it is working perfect--even better than before. Mr. Quik made sure we had heat before the night ended and stayed until late evening to finish. I would not write this but I want others who are naive to not fall prey of companies such as this. The worse part is when I took the Mr. Quik tech to the basement to look at the furnace I found out what this "salesman" was doing instead of assessing the work-----PUTTING STICKERS ALL OVER THE FURNACE AND WATER HEATER WHEN WORK FROM HIS COMPANY HAD NOT BEEN DONE!!!!!!!!!! RIDICULOUS!!!!!

This turned out good. They had to do some work with our sump pump. We were new to our home and to having a sump pump so they explained to us what needed done. I didn't like that he was trying to up sell us but he was very professional. The price for the deal was very good.

It went GREAT! We are going to talk it over and decide what is best for us and our home. The provider was excellent in answering questions and provided us with the best solutions and pricing for when we are ready to move forward. Very pleased and will definitely be using them in the future!

I guess I gave the details above. I've had bad experiences with contractors in the past... I didn't (but should have questioned paying in full up-front). The team was very friendly, concerned and attentive. I couldn't ask for better service! I should have called for estimates, but based on your listing, I hope I did the right thing. Did I pay too much? I'll never know. The job is done, I'm happy so pleased so that's that....

showed up, went through and tested/inspected all systems. *very* patiently answered lots and lots of questions. gave good recommendations for different maintenance and replacement strategies. took time to explain different products and brands, and how to get the most value out of our hvac system.

It all went great! The technician was on time, friendly, explained what he was doing and charged what he had quoted. I would definitely use them in the future!
