It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It didn't go particularly well. The guy showed up at 4:30, and I wasn't sure what I wanted him to do, but I bought that coupon so I wanted to use it. My toilet needed to be reseated and so he said he is going to do it, but he is not going to guarantee what he is going to find once he takes it off. Sure enough, he takes it off and said the ring is cracked and he has to replace it, but he said it was already 5:00 and he had to go to the warehouse for that. That was a Friday. He said he would come back on Monday and I couldn't do it on Monday because I had to take off work so we arranged for him to come back on Tuesday. I couldn't believe that they don't have a ring in the truck. Coincidentally, I just watched them replace a ring on the old house that we lived in before so I knew exactly what they had to do. He came back on Monday and did the job. The price was outrageous. It ended up costing me $600-something. They were going to charge $200 to remove the toilet and there was a price to put it back and replace the ring. I said the toilet is off so he can't charge me. It went down to $300-something. Having him seen do it in the old house, it was just totally outrageous. Why do they come in with all these disclaimers and how come they send someone to do a plumbing job at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon? I got him here and once he was here, the price of the coupon hardly can cover anything and I also had him look at putting in a new faucet in my kitchen and that came with a bunch of disclaimers about what trouble he could run into, and it was just as outrageous. So far, it has been okay since he left, but I can't see the seal that he put in. I don't like the way they approach you with all these disclaimers before they even do anything.

After I paid for the Big Deal they wanted an additional $45 to do more work because he said the service I needed done would cost more. The manager called me and he said they would get it worked out.

Everything went extremely well. The technician explained the pricing options and went to work. He was extremely polite and professional and cleaned up when he was done. I would definitely have them back.

Initially, we had called a different company, who confirmed repeatedly that they were delayed but would certainly be there. After waiting thirteen hours for the competitor and manually pumping out standing water in our basement, we finally called Service Plus. I am so glad I did. The phone staff were so friendly and helpful (even at 9 pm on a Friday night when she must have been fielding calls for hours.) The plumber, Dean, arrived on time on Saturday and quickly routed our roots from our line, which drained the water. Though I'm sure he was due at another client, he took as much time as we needed to fully understand the extent of the problem and our options for a long term fix. Because the roots were still holding water in the pipe, he recommended another plumber take a look. We repeated the experience with a great telephone scheduler and a very knowledgeable plumber who educated me even more about my house's nearly-100-year-old plumbing. We still have a large repair in the future, unfortunately, but I am happy with my experience with Service Plus.

That went fine. I didn't have any issues with them.

They were very good. They did a nice job. They got everything done. Their pricing was reasonable. They did a quality work. The servicemen were always very friendly.

The man from Service Plus Heating Cooling was right on time. Courteous, prompt with his work and informative about the state of my furnace, the price was of the inspection and cleaning was a great bargain. I will definitely use this company again.

We were very happy with them. They did some tune ups on our furnace and some plumbing work. We hired them to do some other stuff as well regarding maintenance.

When I initially filled up the questioner I had informed them when my house was built. I don’t know why they came and made me wait for them; they unnecessarily wasted my time. One good thing was that they refunded my money without any hassles. They did not charge me anything. If they have any concerns such as these it should have been informed prior to the service. Their responsiveness was good.

They seemed to do okay. We do not even have the furnace anymore. They came out within the same time frame that we purchased the big deal and there were no additional charges on top of the deal.

This turned out very well and they were really helpful. They went through everything in my system and explained what was working and why everything was ok. They explained what they did and what they thought would be going on in the future.

Their prices seemed really high, but I decided to try them anyway. They have a book that lists all their prices for services and I pointed out to the technician that came out that the prices were fairly high. He said some of their prices were high and some were not, but of course everything I needed done was high priced. He tore up the shower in my guest bathroom and was almost done but got to a bolt he could not undo. He said he would need to come back with a different wrench. Two months later, they never came back. I called them and they admitted they had forgotten me. They explained the technician that had originally done my work had been promoted. They offered to send someone else out but they would charge me more. I told them I didn't want to deal with them anymore and asked for a refund. They agreed that they would give me my money back but they never did.

My wife had Service Plus install a new top of the line two stage Bryant Furnace a couple years ago. This winter, we woke up one morning to a 50 degree house. I called Service Plus immediately around 8-8:30AM and they had a technician onsite with 2-3 hours. I was impressed since I'm sure this was a busy day for them. The tech was very professional and courteous. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty thermostat. Fortunately, my wife purchased this system with a 10 yr parts / 5 yr labor warranty so we owed nothing! I recall being impressed with the Service Plus tech when the furnace was installed and I came over to my wife's house to supervise. So far, everything has been great with this company. It's great to have a company you can trust at a reasonable price. I plan to continue using them.

Excellent work, tech cleaned and inspected the burner, outstanding service and the technician was friendly. Overall, I'm completely happy with the service that was provided.

I awarded the job to Service Plus March 20. They called to schedule, and were finishing up a job in the area and could begin Monday March 24 and asked to park their equipment in front of my house over the weekend. I had taken off work, and was concerned that no underground utilities had been marked prior to Monday morning. There was a flurry of activity before the start time and everything was marked. The Service Plus crew laid plywood to pile the dirt, and began digging. Josh and John did excellent work. When unplanned problems happened they knew what needed to be done. They dug up the SDR-35 and replaced approximately 45 feet of sewer line with new Schedule 40 PVC pipe, fittings and two-way cleanout. Two sections of the sidewalk were removed, and will be replaced by Service Plus when the gravel settles. The sewer line was connected to the main sanitary sewer line in the street the same day. Tree roots had infiltrated the original sewer line causing most of the problems. The new pipe was bedded in #8 stone. After the sewer inspection the entire line was covered with #8 stone and the trench backfilled. Use of the plywood kept the yard from getting muddy. The crew did a good job cleaning up.

The are great. Both of us are new using snapfix and it caused some slight confusion on quote and payment as the unit can't be repaired and needs to be replaced. They were able to turn it off so that the leak stopped as new parts came in. I don't love the price tag but it is a fair price for the work.

It and scheduling were fine. He gave me information and hints on how to keep up with my furnace.

Sewer immediately started to flow once cutting tool was run through the pipe. Serviceman did not have camera on his truck, so another technician came next day with camera. I was able to see the images as he ran the camera through the pipe. Discovered a small dip in the main line. We discussed options to repair/replace and was quoted a decent price. Decided to not do repair/replace since tiles are still intact.

The service was good. It wasn't super impressive, and it wasn't bad, it was what you would expect. The interaction with the provider was fine, and the work turned out fine. I did not pay anything additional.

The experience was excellent. We had two different service people come out - one for each of our properties - both were punctual and professional. They made recommendations for improved performance but were not pushy. Would definitely use this service again.

James arrived later than scheduled but to his credit he stayed till late in the evening to make sure the major work got done that day. However the 2 pressure gauges he installed were both malfunctioning and he said he'd order new ones that should arrive in 2 days, so that meant he would have to come back to completely finish the work. He was knowledgeable and professional. I felt I could trust him and his assessment of the problem. I ended up asking for more work to be done beyond what he initially estimated. He's not a pressure salesperson that tries to hook you into paying more for additional services. The extra work simply came out of our conversation of the problem and his suggestions to prevent problems in the future. It all made sense. I would definitely trust his diagnosis if I have another plumbing problem. Now the bad part. He was supposed to come back in 2-3 days with pressure gauges that he ordered. He said he'd be back by Friday (work was done on Tuesday). I left work early on Friday to be home for him. No call and no message. I called service plus and they put out a message for him that he never replied to. I couldn't get a straight answer from the Service Plus receptionist whether the gauges were there - or whether they were even ordered. She said that someone could come out Saturday to install them. The Saturday guy called me early that morning, but he didn't have the proper gauges either. So I told him not to bother as James had ordered specific gauges. I called Service Plus on Monday (today) and the receptionist didn't know what the status was on the gauges and told me she'd get back to me. I haven't heard back from them for almost two weeks. I will update this review when I do. Service plus are professional in their job, and they do good quality work, but this lack of responsiveness and follow-through definitely hurts them. I am not sure if I can use them in the future - maybe only for simple work that doesn't require having more than one visit. And definitely make sure you are proactive with follow-up phone calls as they seem to have a problem with internal communication. UPDATE 5/25/14: Fifth time's a charm. It turns out James quit working for the company a few days after he did the work at my place. Unfortunately this meant no one knew what work was still unfinished. Also, I lost the water test I paid for as no one knew what he did with the water sample, and the water heater is flushed so another test is now useless. After much back and forth with Service Plus over the phone, they sent out another guy to assess the situation (another day off work for me to be there). He identified a water leak from a gauge and wanted to order a new one. This meant he had to come back another day. That day came (another day of me missing work) and he did his work hastily and left - telling me all work was done. I went to check out his work and saw that one of the gauges was still leaking. My patience with Service Plus was wearing thin and I let them know this over the phone. They sent out Brian that same day. He was very professional (like James) and seemed knowledgeable. He assured me he'd do what he could to restore my confidence in the company. Although this meant he had to come back another day to finish the work (another day of me missing work), he held up to his promise and I am very pleased with the work now. I would recommend future customers ask for Brian by name as you will not be disappointed. I can't say the same for others there.

The plumber showed up on time and I when I ran up to tell my wife, who was in the shower, she said the drain was working fine. I told the plumber this but since he was already there I asked him to check things out anyway. After looking at water pressure and giving us a tip like "use draino when there's a clog" I paid him $79 dollars and that was that. He didn't notify me that I could pay him through the Snapfix App. The consultation lasted 5-10 min and no service was provided. Also, this was the second attempt by the same plumber to come over and there was no apology for bypassing me last time. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
