Service Plus Heating Cooling Plumbing

The service went okay. I misunderstood the deal and thought I could tell them I could tell them what I wanted done and they would do it in the time frame. They had a list of things that could actually be done in the deal price range. I was hoping to have a facet replaced, as well as, the bathtub spout. I ended up having them just replace the faucet to avoid additional charges. After the service was done, he took the old faucet with him and did not let me know he was going to do that. The technician was very punctual and responsive. He also did do a nice job but I do not think I would buy a deal from them again.

Ron from Service Plus was able to diagnose the problem as broken clay tile in my front yard. He showed me the video as he snaked the line. Old tree roots from a no-longer existing tree had grown into and crushed the tile. I didn't want my yard trenched, so I agreed to two deep holes with pipe fed through the old tiles from my house to the city septic system. The men doing the project were very professional and informative. They introduced themselves to me and showed me exactly what needed to be done. I was kept informed throughout the project.

They were wonderful and the price and quality was very good. They had over 2000 reviews on Angie's list. When they said they are going to be there, they were there.

We had a good experience. They took of that. They came when they said they were going to. It was pleasant. They were expensive but that's okay. They were prompt and conscious about their work. The waterline didn't get turn on completely and they came back twice to take care of it.

They are a heating, cooling and plumbing group. It was done on the weekend. I thought their service was fine. They came on time and they were professional. They did the job right away and got me fixed up quickly on a weekend which was what I needed. I thought their price was reasonable.

It was fine. They were able to come and fix it in an hour. They were on time. They cleaned up when they finished.

The technician was very thorough and spent a lot of time checking everything out. We felt like his #1 goal was to service our a/c and appreciated that he took his time and didn't rush through the process. We would not hesitate to use his services again.

That turned out just fine and they did a great job. One employee came out to do the work and it took him a few hours. The technician was professional. It was a very positive experience.

Service Plus was more interested in selling me a new system than in repairing my existing system. They inspected the system, told me I needed $5112 in repairs which would NOT be guaranteed to work, and recommended that instead I should go with a $6800 new system. This was during a very hot period, so the tech informed me that if I decided RIGHT AWAY, THAT SAME DAY then he could install it the next day, otherwise it could take a while. I called another company - Air-Pros - for a second evaluation opinion (and sweated it out in 90 degree weather with no A/C for another week). They came in, found the same problems, and fixed them for $290. Literally, they did the same thing for $290. Their rates on a line item basis were also more reasonable (R22 for $90/pound versus $292/pound from Service Plus). I will never call Service Plus again, and wish I could get my money back. I essentially paid $99 for them to try to sell me something I didn't need. I would HIGHLY recommend Air-Pros as an alternative.

We compared many providers and they had the best deal and better quality products. They came and walked through our issues with the air conditioner and talked about our options. Once we decided to replace they were here next day. It took a few hours but we were happy with all they did.

I had moisture and mildew smell in the home. The technician, Thomas Herman, did an excellent job evaluating the problem, and adjusting the blower speed which did the trick. Very satisfied with Service Plus. Always easy to contact them, and they get out to your home as quick as possible to service your heating and AC needs.

Overall fine. Showed up on time and serviced AC. Noticed our AC outside was tilted which may have caused poorer performance. He uprighted the unit and leveled it at no additional charge.

At first, my experience was fine, other than being told I needed to drop a serious amount of cash for a brand new air conditioning system. The tech was very punctual, kind, and professional. However, the tech never examined my air conditioning unit, that is, until I got home (my wife was home). My wife said he looked in our closet containing the furnace, and said he knew exactly what the problem was. I was then called at work, told that based on his years of experience that I need to replace my 13 year old system (not exactly past it's life expectancy), and asked to come home to go over an estimate for replacing my system. So it turned out he never examined my AC unit, I had to show him where it was located. We went out to the unit on the roof of my condo to see it not functioning and to continue the dialog about how I need to replace my system. Today (the day after the appointment), my father and I examined my air conditioning unit and found that some wires had gotten tangled up with the fan and cut. We spliced these wires back together and viola, 59 degree air coming out of my vents! I'm afraid this might just be their modus operandi.

The fellow Steve came out on time. Although his company did not have the correct equipment, he was very helpful, responsible, and friendly. He explained what he had to do and why he couldn't complete it. Steve also was very helpful in explaining my other plumbing problems and how much they would generally cost. He really helped me......a very nice guy!

We found water around the base of the toilet. Because of a previous problem we'd had, I incorrectly guessed that the wax ring at the base of the toilet had again broken. The plumber determined within minutes that the problem was actually corroded bolts connecting the tank to the bowl. The problem would have been fixed fairly quickly, but in the process of removing the bolts, the plumber had to reposition a part in the toilet tank. It was old and the repositioning cracked it. That was not obvious at first, however, so the plumber had to meticulously consider a number of other options before determining that was the problem. Upon determining it, he took responsibility, procured a new part, and replaced the cracked part. Our toilet actually works better than it did before because of it -- we used to sometimes have to open the tank and reposition the chain in order to keep the toilet from flushing continuously.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND THESE REVIEWS. I got a postcard in the mail after my initial contact with this company offering a $5 Starbucks gift card if i left a review on any consumer rating services site. Also, ALWAYS get a 2nd estimate. What went well: Prompt service, very nice technician What did not: The technician indicated the cost to replace and how we could get the price down with several discounts. I foolishly agreed and signed an agreement. That night i started thinking about all these discounts and how much is seemed like a scam. I decided i wanted a 2nd opinion. The next day i called and said i wanted to postpone and needed to review options. I did get another quote that day and as suspected, Service Plus is more expensive even with these so called discounts. I then called the office and told them we were canceling (it was less than 24 hours). I got a call from the technician that night (around 6 PM) who was in contact with the owner /manager and was told to tell me that there would be a 40% restock fee (approximately $1300) that i would be charged for canceling.. which was not written anywhere is their agreement - or told to me when we called to cancel. The owner/manager would not call me back that night and I was told he would call me the next day. A $1300 charge for canceling in less than 24 hours? REALLY !! I do admit that i should have got a 2nd opinion and not given them a check. I was totally not comfortable that i would get my money back so I submitted a bank request online at that moment to stop payment on the check - - a $25 fee, but worth it because I likely would never have gotten all my money back. The owner/manager never called me because they no longer had my money and did not have a leg to stand on to charge me a restock fee. I have never had to stop payment on a check before ...and very fortunate the banks offer this service online. I am also thankful for Angies list. I told the technician that night to tell the owner/manager that I would leave an Angies list review. It was only these 2 tools that I had to avoid this company from taking my money.

this servicer is THE BEST - they came the next day when my a/c went out and had a new capaciter on the truck i bought the rewards program and scheduled a/c cleaning and they ordered me filters (i could not find the correct one ANYWHERE!) these repair men are knowledgeable and efficient - HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND WOULD USE AGAIN

Technician arrived exactly on time first day, performed inspection of system, determined cause of failure and identified other deficiencies in system. Took time to explain the technical details of each in understandable terms. Presented four detailed estimates for repair and replacement. We elected replacement, and team of two technicians arrived next morning with new equipment. Installation required better part of a full day (2nd floor condo), Technicians, both initial troubleshooting and installation team were meticulous in keeping worksites and our home clean and orderly. System has worked flawlessly since install. We've found our HVAC system company in Indy.

Austin was extremely courteous and professional. He answered all my questions and explained things to me. He came the same day I called and I was updated on his approximate time of arrival. I would not hesitate to have him in the future if needed. He helped restore my faith in service providers.

Service plus was very easy to work with. I trusted their judgement. The new system works great and the install was quick and painless.

They were fine. The service was nice. The well water smelled like sulfur and he said that if he changed the filter in the water heater it would be fixed but it wasn’t. I’m not sure though that it could have been fixed.

Fortunately our warranty had 6 days left on it, so we were lucky. Ryan installed the heater the next day. He came by when he said he would, and was very professional and courteous. We are so glad we found this place on Angie's list.

This service went better than I could have asked. Even with giving them a short notice they were able to work around my schedule and get my services performed. The service teach was very professional and helpful and explained what he was doing the entire time so you had an idea of what was going on. Never once tried to "up sale" a product and I respect that. I will continue to use this company and I highly encourage anyone reading this review to do the same. After using Service Plus I understand why they have so many reviews?..they do AMAZING work.

We had experienced trouble with our air conditioner (the outside unit had stopped working). The dealer that had installed our furnace and air conditioner approximately 22 years ago recently went out of business. We suspected we may want to replace our units due to their age so we checked Consumer Reports for recommended brands. We then checked Angie's List for dealers who installed them and called Service Plus. The service rep arrived on time and parked on the street rather than blocking our driveway. He wore shoe covers indoors. As soon as he turned on the thermostat the air conditioner started up. However, he checked it out and found a number of age related problems. We went ahead with our decision to replace the units. He patiently worked with us in arriving at a decision on the units we needed and scheduled the installation. The installation crew was prompt. They also wore covers on their shoes and placed runners on the floor. They efficiently removed our old units and installed the new. When separated, they spoke to each other over their cell phones rather than yell back and forth. They informed us of an electrical issue that we need to have addressed. Before leaving, they walked us through the systems to include the new thermostat. Overnight, a small problem with the air conditioner was noticed. They had a rep out within one hour of our calling who resolved the problem at no costs. Everyone we worked with was courteous and professional. I would recommend Service Plus
